Day off work and Mrs Rubbishparty visiting for a few days so off to Queen Charlotte Drive and ending up in Havelock. Quick park and grab with the specific hint. Thanks for the smiley
All good with this cache Just arrived from the North Island heading over to Blenheim, but took my time to stop for a cache or two or three Well foundTftc
Took a chance of the fine weather today, and last day before back in the office tomorrow, to buzz out this way on Bumblebee. Nice easy find here. Grabbed the TB and dropped in more paper.
Stopped here on the way to Nelson. Thank you bumandworker for this cache.

Had a quick trip into the Nelson/Marlborough region for a few days with a wee bit of time for some caching, But I will have tocome back so many to find, many thanks to all the cache placers - Bitsprayer
Finally an exact hint for a cache search. No "small tree" in the middle of the forest, or "behind stones" on the bolder bank. For that I leave a note favorites point here. TFTC
Found on our way out of town while thru-hiking the Te Araroa. Day 90 for us. We're headed into the Richmond Ranges next!
A beautiful view from here of the river and hills! Great hide worth a short diversion. TFTC
Well, Mr Bumandworker, you’ve come up with a good one here. Classic hide and an absolutely gorgeous view.
This was our first view of the Pelorus River and Mr 3Prettys was hooked! (Hopefully that will soon be a pun and he'll be casting to his heart's content.) Miss 3Prettys found the cache quickly but dropped it even faster as a small wasps' nest was attached to the container. Her big tough dad scraped that off and she was soon looking happily through the swag.
Thank you for the cache, this is Day #17 of our new streak.

22259 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we went from Nelson to Picton, to take the watertaxi to Punga Cove. During our drive we stopped many times to look for a cache and at the Lodge we made a walk to the 2 caches nearby. One of them was quite high, but it all gave a beautifull view on nature in new Zealand.
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Some were too humid to write clearly. Muggles did not watch what we were doing.

We explored this road after a trip into Nydia Bay a few years ago. Today's trip was just to the end of the bridge to tag and bag the cache and then move on. tftc
Returning from Kaiuma Bay and it seemed appropriate to get the caches at each end of the track. When we parked up and approached the GZ we thought the renovation of the bridge approach might have affected the cache - no problem it's there. TFTC
My last cache on the South Island. On our way to catch the ferry at Picton. Next stop Wellington.
This was a nice easy find with no muggles around. Great hint lead me straight to it.
TFTC!

Quick find tonight, thanks B&W
Quiz night is done for the year, so without nothing much else on tonight Jo and I decided on a trip to Havelock. The main target was Takorima, but when we got there we saw the road was closed to the public. Not to worry, plan B kicked in which included some caches between Havelock and Canvastown. Thanks for the caches.

Left home at 5.30, to snag Daltons Track FTF, with The Seagnoid. With that bagged its time to snatch a couple more on our way home.
The Seagnoid stears me here for a quick snag and tag. Cheers

Soon after catching the geocaching bug, NZDi and I came out to Pelorus Bridge to see how we could go in the bush environment. We discovered geocaching took a lot longer than in the open and didn't get a chance to finish off the area. We also logged our first DNF out here and today was the day we decided we needed to clear up some unfinished business. As we have a few more caches under our belts now, we didn't expect this exercise to take too long so we planned to collect a few more caches along the road between Pelorus Bridge and Havelock, then do some caching around Havelock before heading home. In the end we got 32 caches and managed to swap the three trackables that have been in our possession for a while for three new ones.
After caching out the Pelorus Bridge Scenic Reserve earlier this morning, it was now time to head back to Havelock and do a few around there. Of course there are a few caches that will make the trip take a little longer and this was the fifth. I have never been along this road before but now it has been opened up as the shortcut to Kaiuma Bay along with the new bridge, I can see a geocaching trip over the Kaiuma Saddle to Nydia Bay on the cards sometime in the near future. I believe a couple of keen geocachers actually got married in Nydia Bay last year.
As for this cache, I had no idea what the clue meant until we approached GZ and all became clear resulting in a QEF PnG based along the same theme as a series of my own caches... and there are no bus shelters out this way if you know what I mean.

With the wonderful weather today we enjoyed this cache while having a good view around. Peaceful place and quick find. Thanks very much.
Found it quickly today! Must have been tired last time ! Nice short cut over the island.
Almost at Havelock and was looking to stop for this cache. As we headed down the highway saw it was over the side so double backed at the intersection. Stopped near GZ and quickly laid a hand on the cache at this quiet spot - TNLNSL. Thanks for the placement.
This was the second day of a fifteen day trek going down to the South Island and hitting the Christchurch Mega. Because I was looking at my GPSr so intently, I drove past the road and had to double back. Last signed by friends I know from Auckland. What are the odds? TFTC.
Been working at the local mussel factory and on my way back to my hotel decided to clean up a few of the caches that were outstanding in the Havelock area.
Parked close to GZ and after looking on the wrong side of the road redirected myself after reading the hint.
Soon had the cache in hand.
Ask the same question as another cachers "What is the key for??"

In the South Island doing an epic CANZ road trip. We have almost completed the mission and picked up a few other caches on the way around.
Another on the road. We missed quite a few along the highway because we were doing a search live with the iPhone and there was no service. This was one that did pop up after we got a short burst of Spark Service. Yeah. 97% of where kiwi's live and work. hahahahahahahaha. Took the short detour and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks bumandworker. One more smilie on the road trip.

[green] Every time I drive this road I see this cache and want to stop. But for whatever reason I can't usually because I am with Capperz, and he has already found it. It is so close to the road and it bugs me. Nice to be on my own with loads of time available. So at last I get this cache off my chest. Feels good!
A short detour off the main road to find this one on the way to Blenheim , another nice spot to stop , Found and signed cache , went for a quick walk across the bridge then carried on Thanx4tc
On our tour through New Zealand we visited many inspiring places, enjoyed delicious meals, met friendly locals and tourist AND found some Caches.
So this Cache was one on our trip. Thanks a lot for hiding and maintaining.

#9380. Only time to go as far as the bridge today; no time to go further today (had a CITO at the Wairau bridge to get to at midday). TFTC
A short detour from the main road, and we were soon at GZ. All quiet here today and the cache was a quick find. We will have to find the time to explore further, but with the midday deadline for us, must push on. TFTC.
Introduced daughters boyfriend to the art / science of geocaching. His comment was that he thought this was something his father might get into to - and so it grows. TFTC
Found this cache during our NZ holiday in 2015.
Thanks for hiding the cache and showing us the place.

We’re here from the UK on the trip of a lifetime with Geocaching as one of the ‘must do’ elements of the trip.
This was another nice easy cache for us and thanks to the cache owner for the cache and bringing us here for the views. We left a shiny Sterling 5p.

Arrived in Havelock for a night before working in Blenheim and Renwick for the weekend. TFTC. Easy park n grab.
A quick grab on the way home, Found on a big day with Team Gators down to St Arnaud and up the Wairau, this was one of 139 smilies for me for the day signed as KMTG. Cheers.
In Richmond on a wee family holiday. Headed out for the day with KiwiMoose on a caching mission through St Arnaud and up the Waiau Valley- to save on the possibility of RSI we signed logs as KMTG.
A long fun day. 150 caches total. Nice one. Cheers. Homeward stretch now.

Wet day so checking our profile and geocaches found (20/09/2014). Discovered we'd logged a couple twice so rectified that, also hadn't logged one we'd found recently. And this one from ages ago not logged either! Good that I never throw away my pages of notes! TFTC.
Nice quick find on a geocaching drive with KrisnKen. Drizzle didnt deter geo kids from running about and we managed to find several caches on our adventure.
Stayed the night in Kaikoura, now heading to Nelson, road re opened after freaky storm
