My hometown of Stourbridge in England.
It does however appear that our local council don't use the words "Welcome to" on any of their town boundary signs.

WELCOME TO WIRRAL
I live on the Wirral, between Chester and Liverpool in the North West of England.
At N 53 18.897 W 003 04.484 are two "Welcome to Wirral Signs" - I guess we must be extra friendly greeting everyone twice!

Well this where it all started, the hospital is closed now all boarded up which was sad to see.
I have been living in New Zealand since I was five, but this is the town where I was born. I still have family in the area and its been good being able to visit them while I have been living in England.
Northallerton is situated in the County of North Yorkshire in the North of England, close to the City of York and the towns of Darlington and Middlesbrough.
We have taken up Geocaching in order to explore England and the world, its also a great way to learn some local history.

I was born in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. So on a recent visit up there with my cousin (a fellow geocacher), for a family reunion, we both took an opportunity to photograph ourselves for this cache in front of the appropriate sign.
Rockhampton is the beef capital of Australia (thus the bull statue with the sign), those are GPSrs in our hands...

Our 200th cache!
This one is of Exmouth, Devon on the coast of South West England. The town is also famous for being the 'Gateway to the Jurassic Coast' as the cliffs are over 250 million years old and show the different prehistoric periods by the exposed rocks. Because of this, Exmouth has been granted World Heritage status.
The photo is of The Hancock Clan (juniors), Elliott & Chloe.
Thanks,
The Hancock Clan

We have lived in Hamilton, New Zealand S37 48.564 E175 20.134 for the last 15 years and it is well and truly our home town now. My son decided he deserved to be in the photo though as he was born here! Hamilton was first settled by European soldiers in 1864 during the Maori wars. It now has a population of over 100,000 and is booming largely due to its location in the middle of prime dairy land and its close proximity to NZ’s largest city, Auckland (about 100 km as the gpsr flies). It is one of only two NZ cities that are not located by the ocean but it is only an hour’s drive to either the east coast or the west coast. Although not by the sea it is dominated by New Zealand’s largest river, the Waikato, that flows right though the middle of the city (see aerial photo pinched off the internet)
Good old Gosford, NSW, Australia. My name is Tony. When I was born here 44 years ago there was only about 5000 people living here. Unfortunately word got out as to how good this place was and the population is now approaching 150,000. Due to an intense lack of foresight and a lust for developer's money, the local council is now having troubles with water supply, sewerage and waste disposal and traffic problems. The time will shortly come when I must leave the town in which I was born. Some sadness but with the way the place is going, it will probably be for the better.
I'd better find someone in either Edogowa or Nitra who speaks English soon so I can log Sister City. Any takers?

My name is Dave Kruger. I spent the first 17 years of my life in Dennington, Victoria, Australia. Dennington is a small town of around 500 people. Thanks for the cache.
Hi there!
This is it: Petershausen a small town north of munich.
The coordinates of the sign are N48° 24.783 E11° 27.712 but I live right in the centre of Petershausen. Originally I'm from Hesse but I'm long enough here to call this my hometown.
I started with geocaching because you can get out there anytime you want - it's simply fun to explore new ways.

Here is Riptide at the sign welcoming you to Avalon Beach, NSW Australia, our home town. Not a great shot because this sign is on a roundabout on the main road (this intersection is known to locals as Kamikazi Corner as you take your life into your own hands every time you enter the roundabout.) Avalon Beach is also notorious for turning down the "Baywatch" crew who wanted to film the series at our beach. Some of the locals didn't want the invasion.
