We checked on this one and its missing again We have decided not to keep replacing it in this muggly spot.
This puzzle may appear again sometime in the future.

Solved this one and got the green tick before leaving home. The GPS took me to a point which matched the clue but couldn't find the cache.
We had a few solved puzzles around the Cobden area so decided to see if we could clear the area out. We didn't quite do that for one reason or another but this was a quick find.
When we decided to come down this way for a few days, I had another look at this puzzle. Don't know what I did wrong last time as this time it was an instant solve.

Wee hunt then found thanks for the puzzle, nice to knock another off the long list and explore more of the area
A lovely view from here cache found quickly no muggles near this cache yet. Tftpc always nice getting puzzles out if town
#879. Having won a free trip (courtesy of The Breeze) on the Interislander & Coastal Pacific train to Christchurch, making the TranzAlpine an additional sidetrip was a no-brainer.
After knocking off 10 Survivor series caches this morning, it was time to take the rental car north to Punakaiki. But first, some Greymouth caches. This was the second. Just as I got to GZ, a ute pulled up and a guy got out to access the cabinet. I pretended to be taking photos of the view, until he left. Tricky find, but got there in the end.
This was day 2 of the West Coast trip.

Out on a maintenance run today and we stopped here to check on this after the recent DNF.
It was indeed missing so we replaced the cache. Its all good to go again. Happy Caching

Worked this out a couple of days ago, when we realised we'd be in Greymouth getting our van mended. Came to GZ today and found hint item, but despite a good look, nothing found.
We have spoken to the CO who has since been and checked and with photo evidence of where we looked have allowed a find

Found with NZDi on a two day West Coast caching adventure. NZDi asked what the weather forecast was like for the 'Coast' for the weekend early in the week and when I said Friday and Saturday looked good, but Sunday was shite, she promptly booked a night in Greymouth and told me to sort out some caching to do. Taking a look at the geocaching map, I noticed the nice geo-trail of mainly traditional caches along the Point Elizabeth walkway and another geo-trail of mostly puzzle caches (about half solved) along the starting 11 kms of the West Coast Wilderness Trail.
With that as a target, I started researching the caches an solving some puzzles and blagging some puzzle coordinates off fellow cachers. On Thursday night we prepared for an early getaway the following morning and were on the road by 7.00am. The intention was to grab a few strategic caches along the route to Greymouth with a view to eventually turning the road into a path of gold, (well at least yellow). After getting four, all before Inagahua Junction, we abandoned that part of the plan as we would still be caching the route next week.
During the weekend we signed our logs either in full or abridged to KM + ND depending on space and log condition, with whichever one of us who found the cache name first.
After doing the Point Elizabeth Walkway geo-trail, we intended to do the Coal Creek waterfall caches this afternoon as well. Unfortunately we spent too much time searching for an eventual DNF that we couldn't do the waterfall caches, perhaps another time. So we checked into our accommodation, got changed into some more comfortable clothing and went out to do some local caches before having a late dinner.
After grabbing three QEFs on the town side of the river, we headed across to Cobden as I had some pre-solved puzzles over there to find. Just after crossing the bridge we got stopped by the gendarmerie for a breath test which wasn't a problem because NZDi has been sober for at least 35 years. Having just got a cache that wasn't a Leap Year... (duh it's a cache, how could it be a leap year), I figured it was just as easy to walk to this one. By the time NZDi had returned to the geo-mobile and driven to as close as GZ as she could get, I had the cache in hand and the paperwork completed.

We were over in Cobden to check on a cache further along so stopped and checked this one on the way. No spiders today.
All good here. Happy Caching

Another morning walk around Greymouth before we catch the train back to Christchurch. Thanks gracie7 + Mum for this puzzle cache.
I had several solved puzzles in Cobden so called here after lunch before heading north towards Westport. A quick find here, signed log fast and headed back to the vehicle as the rain was starting again. Thanks for the cache.
It was forecasted to rain today which it did early on but then it fined up a bit, well topped raining, so BaldEd and ventured out to sign off some multis and a few solved puzzles.
I drove up to make it a park and grab.
Cheers for the cache.

As the very heavy early morning rain ceased Tufty and I ventured out to go shopping instead of geocaching. After the shopping mission had been completed, the weather cleared so caching was to be the go. Particularly signing off solved puzzles and completing multis in Cobden. Drove the 4WD to within 3m. Nice quick find. Done.[^] TFTC.
Last evening you solved some mysteries in our campervan. Today Kerstin.nds and I were searching for the finals.

I was hoping to solve this puzzle before visiting Greymouth next month but I am unable to see the image as the webpage comes up with a 3rd party hosting error message.
I realized I had some good looking co-ords in GPS....must have been from a KE trip some time ago.
Found and signed (but not solved)

(2535) Solve this puzzle before leaving home. Had a wee bit of time in Greymouth and with some help from Skibow1, collected this cache while in town. TFTC
Another puzzle that the coordinates had not saved onto my phone - I will get that sorted! But I remembered enough of where GZ was to make a likely find and that is just what GK did. Thanks for the puzzle gracie7 + Mum
Quick and easy. Been wanting to get this one for ages but I always seem to be on the other side of the river, any TFTC.
More of a puzzle for my two girls but I can't remember of they actually helped me or not. The cache was a quick find with Kiwi Grandad today.
Thanks gracie7 for the cache.

Finding a few puzzles that I had solved a few months back. Waiting for a good weather pattern so this was the weekend to do it
Making our way back to Christchurch and picking up a few puzzle caches that we had solved - and a couple of traditionals - along the way.
A fun puzzle series and a quick find.

Cache check after the DNF. WOW the picture does not do that spider justice - he's HUGE!
We have watched this classic movie with our children on VHS, and more recently with our grandchildren on DVD. No problems with the solve, nor with making the find this afternoon. Thanks.
Injeanious and I travelled over to greymouth for Easter weekend. We had fun picking up lots of different caches, and had a few dnfs as well. There was a huge spider lurking at gz so I left the obtaining of the cache to injeanious, tftc!
We made our way up to GZ and found a guardian minding the cache. The picture doesn't do it justice but let me tell you it was about 6 cm long. Whoa.
We couldnt see any sign of the cache, logbook or baggie. It has been replaced for now but we will probably need to move it soon. Happy Caching
In preparation for our holidays we also solved this nice little puzzle.
Actually the final should be an easy find. But at the GZ we only found a plastic bag with cigarette stubs in it. It looks, as if somebody used the logbook protection as a trash-bag.

A nice and easy Disney mystery. We could solve it on our way to Greymouth and collect it today morning. We also solved bambi but there was not time to visit the final, too bad.

[green] An awesome day trip with Capperz. F T Fs, earthcache, wherigo, a cache deep in a mine and a 52 cache power trail. 98 caches in all, we were caching in the dark and too tired to bother with trying to get to 100 (and I have done 100 in a day before). But it also involved a 3.5 hour drive from Blenheim to Greymouth, and another 3.5 hour drive back. Plus weka and goats (I'm claiming the goat, but alas, can only claim one weka. Capperz trumps me easily with a full house: three weka and a pair of weka). And rats and possums...
Some time ago Capperz and I had planned a trip out this way, and I did a bout of puzzle solving in preparation for the trip. So here we are, picking it up, another nice easy find. Alas, it takes too long to get here and get back to Blenheim, so we cold not stay long, and were not able to claim all the puzzles I had solved. That's okay - plenty for another road trip!

A plan was hatched during the week for a raid on the West Coast on some of the various caches placed over this way. In scope were the pack of cards power trail (gracie7 = mum), some Greymouth ones in town, a Wherigo, Earthcache, missing D/T combo at Blackball, some pre solved puzzle caches and anything else that took our eye on the way past. Setting off with co pilot the seagnoid (I drive, he directs) we left Blenheim at 0600 (should have left at 0500 because we were driving some of it in daylight, and not caching, a waste of daylight!) All up another epic day; just under a hundred finds, 3 or 4 F T Fs, over 700 kms on the speedo, 15 hours driving and some new scenery seen (should that be saw-ery). We saw Wekas (well I did anyway, t S saw a goat on a goat house and lots of coal, but then what do you expect!) The weather was kind, the sun shone a bit and the temp hit 18 degrees at one point, thanks West Coast,
Thanks to all the C Os whose caches we found today, some logs were signed C T S to save some log book space, others a scrawl and the date 2/5.
A presolved puzzle thanks to tS and a Q E F as we passed onwards and onwards

On an epic caching mission with Shannonp1 through Reefton to Greymouth over the Lewis Pass, cacheing in Greymouth then returning to Rangiora via Arthurs Pass over two days. Final count for the weekend was over 200 caches. A quick easy find after solving at home.
On an epic caching mission with Surveybase to North canterbury, Waipara, Culverdon, Springs Junction, Reefton, Greymouth, Arthurs Pass and back to Rangiora over two days. Final count for the weekend was Saturday 124 caches, Sunday 80 caches. not a bad weekends work. sorry for the cut and paste but it would take forever to log them all.
Last summer the idea was born to visit [Green]'New Zealand'[/Green], together with [url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url]
After some important decisions regarding the beginning of our trip, the flights, the general route and the car were made, the most important question was still unanswered: which caches can we visit during our tour [?]
To get an answer for this topic I was fetching almost every cache from both islands [8)][:X]
[url=http://coord.info/PR3NXJG][red]'MimiNemo'[/red][/url] and I love [Teal]'Geo-Arts'[/Teal]...so we added all these cache series to our wish list
After this decision was made this list was more than 300 puzzle caches long...unsolved puzzle caches
Two weeks before Christmas it was getting time to start solving all these mystery caches
Even with the different language I could find almost every solution
In the case I was not so successful I was contacting some of the CO's...and was always getting help from them...many thanks for this support [:X]
During the following weeks our cache list was growing and growing...meanwhile more than 1000 caches long...too long for a simple bookmark list from GC
Time to get our route and caches in sync...time to save the PQ's to our Garmins...time to start this holiday:
Chapter 13: [red]Franz Josef Glacier[/red] to [green]Westport[/green]
Although the world of the glaciers was so beautiful and fascinating it was time to drive on
On our long drive to [green]Westport[/green] we stopped of course for some caches [:X]
This unknown cache from a nice series was one of them
I would like to thank all the cache owners for showing us these great places and maintaining all these caches,

I solved this one ages ago and can use it for a challenge cache back home I think. [:o)]
Heading In to greymouth for the days caching with geodoggies Coco and Milo and Nosynel too. Had stop stop and grab this one. Cheers. Nosynel did the solving and I help with the finding.

#8368. We wanted an early start on Saturday, so crossed the bridge for a couple of puzzle finds. This one took a while to locate. TFTC.
We realised after we returned to our motel for a cuppa that we still had a few solved puzzles to find. Had solved this so long ago, I can't remember how I did it!
We decided to look for the last two Disney Classic caches before dinner. Maybe hunger caused cache-blindness as it took a lot longer than it should have to track down the cache, relieved to finally hear StreetWalker say the magic words "found it". Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.

13044… A pretty cool puzzle, brings back many childhood memories for Mrs YuGeo too, not so nice weather for Cinderella to be out, but the ducks didn’t mind, many thanks.
Team_Gaters and I have planned a this trip over the last few months. We finally got to the business end of things and kicked off out West Coast raid. We had two days and a lot of boxes to tick. We started at 5am on Saturday morning and it took over 12 hours to get to Greymouth. We drove a lot, walked a lot and had a lot of laughs. We experienced 4 seasons and even contemplated aborting the mission as we were standing in icy cold weather freezing as the rain came pelting down in Arthurs Pass. We encountered matigouri, rosehips, blackberries, brambles, spainairds, baby gorse and old man gorse!!! Still finding parts of prickles in my skin! We also saw kea, weka, cave weta, tree weta, giant slugs, giant spiders in caves, west coasters, fat wood pidgeons, tui and a giant dragon fly. Had wet feet for nearly two days. Three FTFs and on of them was unpublished (first for me).
We decided not to do some of the night caches due to the rain and possible slippery terrain and hit the solved puzzles and other caches we drive by. We headed to the north part of GM. Nice puzzle and this was solved ages ago in preparation for our WC raid. Nice quick find at GZ.
Awesome weekend. TG and I joked that going back to work would be a bit of a let down, so to combat that we would keep one foot in a bucket of water and the other one on top of a pin cusion, that should ignite the memories.
Thanks for the cache.

In Greymouth with TheWanglers on a caching weekend. The initail plan was to grab some of the nearby Night caches...but with the rain and slippery conditions that it might not be a great idea. So we decided to hit the puzzles and anything else that we passed by. Nice one. Cheers.
Had solved all of these before this trip to the coast but due to work overload this was the only one I managed to find. Can't complain about the work really as it has enabled me to find a lot of caches on my way here today. TFTC #5106
Passing by so stopped to check on the cache. Everythings still all good. Happy Caching
My trips to Greymouth are becoming less frequent it seems but I manged to strike a lovely sunny day for this visit. One of few pre-solved puzzles I was able to locate today, an enjoyable series.

These Disney puzzles have been solved at home some time back but we had never had a chance to look for them. Today we managed to find 2 while caching in this area and the others will have to wait until another day. Timing was on our side today, shortly after completing this cache we drove back past here to see workmen at GZ. TFTC
With the Disney puzzles solved some time ago it was time to test our search skills once more and start getting some smilies. Limited time allowed us to do just two of the series but others close by did deliver TFTC
