Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
GeoCrater

Our time in FNQ is drawing to an end. So we decided to do some full on caching and left the caravan in Walkamin whilst we head out to explore Port Douglas and Cairns.
After a big caching day yesterday it was after 9am before we headed out. Another 31degrees and the humidity was rising. We headed up to Trinity beach to start the day then cached down to Gordonvale for lunch at Piefection before returning to our camp at 5.30pm.
Really enjoyed touring Cairns and being tourists using geocaching as our tour guide.

The plan this weekend is to find 86 caches in cairns to help my companion Burgo78 reach his 1000th find by next weekend. Couldn't find this one, had a quick look though.
As this cache is just around the corner from my house I was able to quickly check on it.. good news the cache is still safe at GZ...
Left the family at Sugarland and went for a chaching drive in Cairns today.
This was my first find here for the day.
Lots of ants
Thanks for the cache

Today we left Cairns and headed back to Atherton to find the caches that we had not done since our last visit and this was one of them. We used the co-ords from previous logs to locate this one.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

At last, we have finally managed to get a smilie for this one. Today it was third time lucky as their was a teenage girl sitting on the swings for two of our visit and finally had gone home on our third visit.
We have been to this park several times over the years but there has always been someone spending time in the park.

out having a bit of a look around the area
whilst the reluctant partner was at an appointment.
no joy here ...
had a bit of a look, but must admit to not putting too much effort into it.
thanks anyway

This cache is really becoming a pain to me now. Been to look a few times but haven't logged dnf every time. Gps pointed me to a likely location so feeling for it I started. After 10 minutes of that I decided to climb and still no good. Will be back again with a ladder if I have too or a cherry picker.

8th attempt. Finally. Every time I come here it has either been muggled, busy or a couple of DNFs.
This hide is much more safer and should get some logs now.
Thanks for keeping this alive Lab0879

Popped in again after the recent replacement. Unfortunately the tin looks like it has been stolen. Might need to either replace a micro or archive. Sorry Labo, it is a shame these keep getting flogged.
Ok so the second time I have been here to look and using a phone with compass and now a gps I still get pointed to trees for the cache. so no luck. If anyone can give some help or advice on the gz I would appreciate.
Quick find on a quiet day TFTC

Tried very hard but was unable to find this one. Not sure if it is still in play as I looked in all obvious places. In saying hat, it was probably not an obvious hide.
Took the Geokids to look for this cache, searched high and low, the compass led us to a spot where there was no way it was there, even the hint didn't help us.
Found while in Cairns, on our travels around Australia.
This was a lovely little park, great place for a break while finding the cache.
Good use of a nano.
Thanks for the cache, Lab0879.

Sunrise Park and we were here at night. Oh well. Fangsoki and I visited here tonight on our caching trip to Cairns and sure had our work cut out for us.
The GPSr's pointed to the area of a likely GZ, but some metres off the mark as we later found out. In short, we spent about 20 minutes here hunting about a thankfully deserted park. However we were lacking in lights and ended up using GPSr backlights to shine the way. I was searching the highest areas and thought we'd both made several clean sweeps when finally Fangsoki spotted it. What a bugger, not sure about the difficulty 2 for us.
At least we got there in the end. Maybe we should try and find a torch now. TFTC Lab0879

Captain Terror and I decided to visit Cairns to do some caches together.
This was very much nearly a DNF for Captain Terror and I. Captain Terror is certainly "built" better for caches like this. The two of us hunted around with our pathetic lights of our GPSr's for about 20 minutes.
Then I finally put my hand on it. A collective sigh was let out as we signed the log. I have posted up the co-ordinates that worked for me today.
A nice little park that was thankfully abandoned tonight. TFTC Lab0879

In Cairns visiting family for a few months and escaping the winter in Adelaide.. The coords took us to a tree 11 meters from where we new it would be. T.F.T.C.
Yeah found the cache. This took a bit of searching. Cat search high bear search a little lower. It was in darkness and there were mugglers outside there houses near FZ. But we did find the little bugger it was well hidden.

I decided to be slackish 2day.(today) I just saw a playground nearby, and I just couldn't resist playing on the swings.

10.50 - 7 of 9 for today and final section of project 'dirty dozen'. As the heavens opened up, I decided to have my coffee fix and a snack in this perfect location. Afterwards, I eventually found this cache. Well hidden, don't we like these little nano beasts ... Quiet spot on this rainy morning. T4TC.
After waiting for a bit for the muggles to clear that area we headed off to the likely hiding place. Searched for a bit before mrsbuggles58 spied the prize. She could not reach it so after some assistance the GZ was soon in hand. SL TNLN TFTC (number 10 of 18 today)
Nice easy find. Not too sure about the presentation of the park. CITO where possible at this location me thinks. TFTC
Droped in on way home from stop by bently. Took a little longer to find this one but the lack of muggles gave 1 less thing to watch out for. SL TFTC
Well, I went here soon after sunrise. It is really a nice view to Silkwood Ridge from here.
However, although the cache location is obvious,
THE CO-ORDINATES SHOULD BE S17°00.434' E145°44.084'!

Strangely enough, shortly after Brahms6 found this cache he lost it.
Fortunately I have been able to replace it with a similar cache container. I have included a log entry for Spinmeout and Brahms6 as well as an entry for myself.
After a brief hiatus, this cache is now back up and running and awaiting further finds.
P.S. A word of warning....do be careful with your replacement of this cache.

Thanks for replacing the cache... I took the geohounds for a quick walk this afternoon and changed the cache to a safer GZ.. The GZ coordinates are still exactly the same.... It is still up high and magnetic....It can now be seen from the right angle. Good luck
Brahms6 found this one on the way way to work this morning. Oops I should have read Spinmouts log first as I dropped the little blighter down the hole never to be seen again whilst trying to put it back. We have a spare so will replace it shortly.
FTF @ 11:11pm. With a cache popping up only 2 km's away from home it was too tempting to just leave it for another early riser to grab. We had almost decided to place a cache here around Christmas time when we parked right next to this park while looking at the festive lights in the street. Strangely enough there are still some flashing christmas lights across the road from where we parked. Anyhow, after the local dogs settled down it was a quick stroll to the search area and the cache was found with some careful examination. Replaced cache back to orignal spot...note be careful. You will see why when you find it.
