Lid has broken off and is missing.
The original zip lock bag is broken. Someone has wrapped it inside a bigger one, which itself isn't in tip top shape.
The magnets broke free of the glue and are now inside the cache (still working though)

Just about sprained my knee climbing for this one. There are too many tall people around these days.
Nice little mini series here.

Found this whilst showing my new geocaching nieces what this is all about.
Love the container

Thanks for the hide. Came back today with my slightly taller geo-husband. As we put it back the magnet came off, it's up there but will require a bit of attention.
Magnet needs reattaching as it came off, in the tin now and out of sight but will need attention.
Sorry forgot to note in my previous post that the cache is slightly rusty and the lid has broken off. I've left it resting on top and put the log in an extra bag so it doesn't get wet but it might need replacing soon )
Found it today on the way to the shops.
Co-Ords were spot on, had to be mindful of muggles in the nearby houses

CCTV and a million muggles on a Friday at 17:00 hrs. GPS had me half way up a tree until it settled but trees aren't magnetic, are they???
Nice hide but too high for littley's though. TFTC.
Nice hide but too high for littley's though. TFTC.
Found with LBH and akglb. Had a leap of faith and managed to dislodge with pen. Replacement required more effort. TFTCSL
No sign of lions, scarecrows or any witches. Just a leaping bkj97 which added entertainment. T4TCSL
Nice easy find. If this is designed for kids to find, I would suggest that the hiding spot needs to change as it is up quite high. No problem to reach for this 6-foot cacher though. TFTC
Found the cache and I can see it but its too high for me to grab can I log a find anyway?
Out with mistraluna for a day of caching and after a bad start of DNFS i still managed to find 21 caches but i lost count of the DNFS. A quick find and a nice container TFTC
After a dismal series of DNF's in this area, it was a delight to find this little series of caches. Well done Tanzanite!! Very pretty. Thanks
Found @ 1509, or should I say rescued?
Discovered it quickly, but there was no way to retrieve it! A glance at the last log revealed why, but fortunately I had a new addition in my kit that could be adapted especially for the recovery...
The hook was lowered from above, grabbing the tin man on the lid, but the magnets were too strong and after raising it a centimeter or so, the lid opened!
A second rushed attempt (there were two muggles, plus a family of them on the horizon) saw the hook grasp tin man's bottom and lifted him into daylight!
Waited for muggles to pass, brushed tin man off, signed log and returned to where I assume he lived [photo can be sent to CO if so desired]...
Another nice cache container!

i found the glittery cache but im soo sorry, when i tried to pull it out of its hiding spot it fell down to were i could not reach. I used sticks and some metal rod from the car and couldnt get it out, i needed a hook.
Quick find on the way to my accomodation from the airport. Very quick find of this one in the obvious spot. Thanks for this little series. TFTC!!!
I was visiting an uncle in Belmont, and decided to introduce a young cousin of mine to geocaching. We spotted the obvious hiding place while approaching the GZ, but had to wait for a couple of muggles to pass by before quickly retrieving the cache. TFTC
Had a little trouble getting this one out after it slid deeper as I first tried to grab it. TFTH.
Was in the area and did a little cacheing while here.
fast find with the geokids!

Ahhhh yes, forgot to mention last week. I came by and put the tin man back in his rightful spot. Please do not place the cache in locations above head height. Kid's can't reach it up there, and more importantly, neither can I!!!
Cheers.
Cheers.
Re-logging under new team name ONLINE ONLY (were formerly part of TheChatterboxes but the team had got too large). If CO is not ok with this please contact me. Thanks.
Found it quite easily, although not up high as someone has earlier logged about...might have been moved?
Not sure if this one has been moved, but it certainly wasn't too high for the kids to find ... they got it before I'd even made it to the spot! Loved the Wizard of Oz series
A cache for kids? If they geocache on stilts maybe. Quick find, swapped geocoins. TFTC
Nice geocache. Love this series of caches. Good on ya Tanzanite for creating these lovely tins. Dropped off a travelbug in the tin as a thank you. Easy but watch out for muggles (!!!)
Did the series great one for the kids, but this last one may be a bit tall for the little ones. Nice easy find. Loved the walk in the park. Left a guitar pic:)
Required some climbing and got some strange looks from passers by, nevertheless the cache was stealthily retrieved, logged and returned. Thanks for this short series it will be intresting to see if more come up. TFTC
School holidays. Out with with the geokids. Half stayed at the Volcano Playground - got wet when it 'erupted' - not good on a chilly 13 degree day. Nice series this one, I like the extra effort put in to decorate the cache containers. I wonder if the neighbours or the council staff are now used to seeing people hunt for and find this one? Thanks Tanzanite for your efforts here.
I just love these containers. Beautiful. A good one for four year olds on shoulders!!
Out on a caching run to pick up some more of my unfound caches in this area. Found without problems even with the muggles continually walking by.
Thanks Tanzanite! for the cache.
Thanks Tanzanite! for the cache.
Out and about with AmstradKid and Jazl the wonder dog. We walked to this one and saw the obvious object and now knew what we would be looking for. When we were replacing the cache, we notice a resident watching our every move. SL TFTC Tanzanite
Out with Keego lots of activity in this park as putting cache back noticed a resident watching us intently.
Heading out on a glorious Sunday for a Belmont day, this was our twelfth and last find of the morning. Love the Wizard of Oz series! This one needs someone tall, though...luckily the geo-mr was there to retrieve!

Walked past GZ as man was leaving nearby flat. He asked if I was lost as a couple of weeks ago he had "helped" someone here who was " looking for a street", AND they had a gps you know! Haha
Quick find after this interuption. Thanks

TFTH. Found this one quite easily. Had a great walk around the park on a beautiful day.
Found this one easily too. Pretty! Just as well we had someone tall with us... TFTC
Quick find, however extracting it from it's hiding place took a bit of time as it was a fair way down the object

Hadn't read previous log until now as we are logging the find, so was unaware that cache had been disabled. We needed to make a quick retrieval here as there was smoke from an illegal substance coming from over the nearby brick wall and we were in danger of getting high on it ourselves if we had hung around too long. We soon spotted the glittery container further down the hidey spot, but having just the right tool on hand we were soon able to retrieve it and replace to make accessible to next cacher.
Found it! This is my second find! Well placed, I would never have guessed. TFTC
Mozzies are swarming the place though.

Thanks to Richlink for retrieving this cache! I might have to update my tool inventory
Seeing as this one was back online, we decided to drive down after dinner for today's cache find. A quick and easy find Thanks for the cache Tanzanite!

While walking towards GZ I noticed the signs about CCTV surveillance, and said to the hubby - luckily I've already spotted a likely hiding place for the cache.
While checking the first likely spot, I found a large redback spider with a very bright red streak on its back!
Hoping the cache wasn't in there, I moved on to the second spot just to the right, and while peering in I spotted something silver and shiny, about 30cms down and well out of reach, and covered with a few leaves, and a stick stuck to its right, like someone had already tried to retrieve it.
The cache appears to have slipped down and is irretrievable without proper tools, and there are no side openings. Requires special equipment, and I hope you will be able to get it back, and I look forward to signing the log once it's back online

Cache needs a bit of TLC and will be out of action for a couple of days until I can get down to fix it...
