Unfortunately this was the only DNF for the day today for me. Jntsilo and I spent about twenty minutes searching every likely hiding spot in the vicinity- there wasn’t really many places to look. She had already found it before, but couldn’t remember where it was. The only conclusion we could come up with is that the place it was hidden has been recently replaced with a shinier, smarter model. I will try again some day.

Found by Aussie Train Driver 13/11/2017, find number 1184.
I was driving from Quambatook back to Melbourne in the car today and had the opportunity to snag a few caches. The trio of caches in this area was my final group of caches before finishing the drive to Melbourne.
A lovely spot for a cache away from the busy highway. I enjoyed the serenity as I signed the log but was relieved to be out of the beating sun when I jumped back in the car!
My thanks to the old blokes (and to Phetlern) for your contributions to the caching community.

Find No. 1804. Found at 12.02pm.

On a caching expedition in our geoute with geodog Penny on board. Our aim is to find 25 + finds so that we can get 100 finds for the month.

Now making our way down the Calder Highway, stopping off to grab the ones along the way we haven't got. A small detour off the main road to grab this one. A very clever place for this hide as one could practically run into it so to speak. Parked the ute down a bit and as we were walking back we soon had it spotted. Signed the log and now onto the next one in the series.

6th find of the day out of 16 in total with BeardedMuggle.
What a power Geocaching couple Phetlern are hey!? Great contributors to our hobby.
Sorry for the delayed, short & boring log, I'm terrible at logging and leave it too long then forget, but I always enjoy caching, so I can at least say it was a good day out, just write down the GC codes with a date and say I'll do it later, but later is generally not the same day, or week, or month or sometimes even year. Apologies again.
Cheers & T.F.T.C + series =]
Safe travels and hoppy caching!

We have come to Bendigo to spend the week here and this was our first full day after arriving yesterday and spending the afternoon at the event.
Today we drove out to Inglewood and enjoyed some lunch in the park.
After eating it was time to get down to the serious business of caching Big Grin We followed the road back to Bendigo and managed to sign the log on every one of your heroes along th way. We were very impressed with the variety of caches and some of the different locations along the way. We are hoping this drive is a good reflection on some of the other caches we may find on our week away.

I was headed west from Bendigo today, and only one course out of towne held many unfound caches for me Razz
A few caches were showing up along the Calder between Bendy and Bridgy today.
So I worked up the nerve to tackle the busy road.
(Gimme a quiet back road anyday) !!

On the up side, I knew that there would be safe areas to stop Smile
Better yet a few zigzags along back roads between the caches looked a possibility too [^]

Here I did indeed leave the highway for a while and stopped, still within earshot of the noise, for a quick cache find Big Grin
Nice camo as always !! [^]

Heading down the road, we made a few stops. We picked this cache up at 2:16pm. Since we both know both halves of this team ad they have helped us out with the upcoming 'Melbourne Event' we decided we had to go and find this cache on the way home.

Sharkiefan and I decided to head north and checkout the Old Blokes weekend in Wedderburn. We'd heard a lot about it and we weren't disappointed. We had a great weekend and caught up with heaps of people, oh and we found a few caches, of which this was one found on our way home. Thanks for the cache the old blokes!
