TFTC! After an early start in Kalamunda this morning I decided it was time to leave work for the day nice and early. Arranged time with Cravo10 to come and have a crack at a couple of archived caches in the canning vale piara waters area which looked like they may very well still be in play.
Managed to snag two of the three we tried for, not sure if the third is missing or the camp was too good for us?
All is well with these caches and unfortunately thy are actually in much better shape than a lot of active caches in the Perth metro area. These caches had plenty of space in the logs which were bone dry and had containers in very good condition.
Thanks AP, I do hope we can convince you to start hiding caches again, they are well thought out and in places I would like to see. Thanks

Due to constant destruction and muggling of my caches. I have decided not to maintain this cache and am archiving it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
Another easy find after parking at and walking in on the wrong track. At least the walk out was easier - even if it was longer. The cache is in good condition. SL - no swaps. Thanks to Allied Pranksters for the cache.
Another nice easy find due to spot on coordinates . The bomb was found first here too . Clue noted and into the next one
Allied Pranksters - jinta29 found your cache AP 098 Rise & Fall on 4/12/2014 6:08 am. This is my find #2462 and find #3 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

finished work and decided to pick up a few more before going out tonight, clever hide to finish the day on...TFTC
Decided it was time to have a go at the Masters & Minions series. Should be able to knock some off during a quiet week at work.
This one was a bit off the beaten track but a fairly quick find. Found the bomb too!

Out caching with the usual crew AlliedOz and The Fitzy's with 8 geo kids to tackle this series to keep up with the 31 of August, a nice day to walk through the bush the kids enjoyed racing ahead for the finds TFTC!!!
Still ahead of the Captain here, found the bomb OK but the cache was much harder. It took at least 15 mins to locate, even the Captain struggled to find this one once he arrived. SL TFTC AP
A big day out today, caching with Mistraluna. Had an awesome time, beautiful weather for a winters day. Lots of caches found and even managed to fit in a shopping trip as well. SL TFTC Allie Pranksters
Oh dear, have gotten so far behind in logging my finds over the past few days, so now have to catch up. Found this one and the bomb on a caching run with Luna Maya. Thanks Allied Pranksters
TFTC found the bomb easy but the cache another story we were blind as bats took duck and left two balls
Cheers

Upon arrival we spotted the bomb straight away and thought that we were in for a long search of the cache. A few mins and the cache was ours. Made more out of it than we should have.

We found the bomb within seconds but it took a bit longer to find the cache at this one. TFTH
Unfortunately after searching for a while we didn't find this one searched far and wide any hints gratefully accepted found the bomb!

Some free time, so I thought I would do a short caching raid in this area, it was a lovely day for a walk.
Another good spot, and once again the Bomb was located first, information was retrieved and the then the search was conducted for the cache. Once found, the log was signed and the Geocoin that had been resting here for a while was retrieved.
Thanks Allied Pranksters for the cache, and the fun

With geo-hubby heading to Black & White I headed to this cache with the geo-pooch lagging behind. Think he was well and truly over the sandy tracks. Found the bomb in the obvious spot, but couldn't for the life of me find the cache. Extended the search, researched previous locations, phoned the geo-hubby for some assistance. Just as he arrived (after already finding Black & White) I finally uncovered the cache, took me at least 20 minutes (it shouldn't have) - phew!
I think this one took me the longest to find. For the fourth time in a row I found the bomb first, and then searched around and around, high and low, for the cache. I even ventured further afield, but couldn't find the cache.
I continued searching, and eventually I finally found the cache! So I dropped the Oz Coin BN here. Thanks for the cache Allied Pranksters.

Grabbed this one by making a short detour from AP99 and then back to Geovehicle. Bomb found before the cache. TFTC AP
last one of the series, now eagerly on to the final...thanks again Allied Pranksters
I love the beach but have never enjoyed walking in the sand. Thankfully this one was paved most of the way. TFTH Allied Pranksters.
Out and about with trekevred today to hopefully finish this series. This was one of the easier walks

Accompanied with FelixII... So glad no sand track... nice path - enjoyed walk and quick find container and bomb... See FelixII's comment.... Signed the log. Thanks Allied Pranksters.
Mr Felix is working on a super urgent work project at home away from the work phones and the callers saying, " Is it Finished yet! "
So of course Mrs Felix was fed up with tiptoeing around the house attempting to be quiet! Never mind all the household jobs she had to do, but of course house work isn't silent (vaccumming, washing etc)
So when banished from the house what would you do? Go caching of course.......
So when telling Everlasting my tale of woe last night, she offered to join me today! Okay where shall we go? Lets do AP 092 - Ap 100... Okay I said. 1 AP is the same as another isnt it?
Hmmm 5 minutes later when my befuddled brain caught up, there was a niggle in the back of my mind..... a little voice saying don't do the bomb series.... it will haunt you!
Darn under pressure here! Seem to have failed note taking. Cannot for the life of me remember which cache this is. I know it wasn't the one we couldnt find the 2nd object at. and it wasn't the one witht the indefinite soft sand that we wished we had horses/camels to help us with our trek.
I also know that if like Chwiliwr I left my sunglasses at the last cache (mine only being $10 cheapies) I wouldnt be going back for them. But alas I cannot recall, so I failed notetaking.
But I can pretty well be sure Everlasting is likely to have found the cache?

Another hot March Sunday in Jandakot ... It took a little to find this one because my GPS wanted me to search about 6 metres away from GZ. But I soon had the cache and the bomb in hand, noted the details I needed and headed off to Masters and Minions. SL. TNLN. TFTH Allied Pranksters
A quick jog down to this one. quickly located the cache and also to the masters object.

It was hot, sweaty, dirty, sandy, smelly and extremely stressful and mind blowing trying to defuse the eight bombs with sweaty trembling hands.
I pushed on from AP95 on a nice looking path and managed to successfully defused another bomb.
Thanks Allied Pranksters.

[:(!] Mrs GrumpyBump saw this series come up on our computer and suggested to me that I should go and get them, arrived at the path entrance to Jandakot Regional Park to get to GZ, arrived at GZ and in a matter of minutes I had both items in hand. SL TFTC/TFTH

Walked up the tracks from the last cache past where I entered and soon got to GZ when I realised that I had left the sunglasses at the last cache. Quickly found the cache and information and started back down to the entrance. As I was approaching that point I saw another cacher pass across the end of the track and as I got there found it was firnsy. Had a quick conversation and he left for this cache and I headed back to the last cache to get my sunglasses.
Thanks Allied Pranksters for the cache.
