What a quaint little place. Never knew there was a little river here. Cache was a very quick find and wow, that magnet is strong. TFTC
Back in the big city for the weekend and have a few hours to kill before heading to the movies ...so have the boys navigating around the suburbs for a few caches.
Nice quick find very obvious not sure if it's where it should be ...put it back anyway .. tftc

I'm in Christchurch with my wife who is undergoing surgery in Christchurch Hospital and what better way to take my mind on what's happening to her than to go geocaching. On Sunday I ended up doing 100 caches in a day with the help of the Thompsons Track and a few others. So the next few days the numbers are somewhat less. Today it is my intention to scope out the Red Zone but this morning I was driving by here and noticed this pop up on the map and it seemed too easy to pass up.
Surprisingly I could see it from where I parked the car so it made for a QEF PnG. The hardest thing was getting it off, boy was that magnet strong.

GPS was trying to lead me astray, but a little bit of thinking made it a quick find, TFTC
While in Christchurch, I was targeting caches that would help me complete the second level of mystery at the museum and this was one of those with the addition of being a date placed I did not have, initially the camo had me fooled! Very clever fav point awarded
I really thought I had found at least one in the series years ago but it appears this is the first one afterall. A nice hide too. I wonder why the entry gate isn't locked if they don't want people to go in. Now off to explore a puzzle at another stream. TFTC # 13,977
It was a nice easy find, but I had a car pull up just before I put the cache back and it didn't look like it was in a hurry to leave. So I took the cache for a walk around the block and by the time I arrived back at GZ the car was gone. Phew! Thanks
Finally getting some more local ones ticked off! I grew up in this area so it's awesome to have some hides around here to re-explore the streets again TFTC

found with my nephew, first cache in like 4 years. walk past this every day never paid attention to the river. cool cache =)
TFTC my GPS was about 6 meters off, after 5 minutes I found it, would have been 30 seconds if GPS was working correctly.
This was a really smart location with a great idea behind it! Really fun to find!!
#6213. I have a meeting in Christchurch to attend so have come down early to allow the opportunity to pick up a few geocaches. Picking up caches as I head away from the airport. Nice quick find here. Had to be careful not to drop anything in the creek. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Note the log is a bit scutchy and could do with being replaced. Thanks Justmeg for hiding it here.
Nice and easy find in the morning.
I am not sure if the information for the bonus is still there or if I am just too blind.

TFTC. Keen for quick finds for hidden creatures! Log not signed due to dampness.
We appreciated the quick find after coming from a dnf. The log was a bit wet but fine to sign. I popped it in a plastic bag to help keep it dry. Tftc!
I had found a couple of mystery caches nearby and decided to pull over and sort out how I needed to get where I needed to go. There was a cache nearby (this one) so I had a look for this. It was easy enough to find but I found it a bit tricky to open, it took longer to open it than it took to find it lol. I was worried it would break and that is the last thing I wanted to happen. Turned out to be all good. Got back to the car and realised I had not recorded the information at the top of the log - hmmm - back I went and repeated the process.
Thanks for the cache and the smilie, now to look up what I need the information for...

Quick find. We are just picking up a few caches while on a family visit to Chch. TFTC
I had just found the cache when the heavens opened. Dashed to the car to sign logbook and then it was a dash back to replace the cache.
Wet day. Wet pen. Wet log sheet. Kind of signed it. Best I could. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
I was off following my GPS when miss 5 walked straight up to It! Lovely wee spot. Tftc
Found with Geo jessie and as per her log, we had to do a bit of an act to replace the cache. Think it worked!! Plastic bag may help to keep log from tearing further. TFTH
Relatively quick find with Busy Paws. Had a bit of trouble retrieving the logbook from the container as it was also rather sodden, Busy Paws added a bag in the cache to prevent it from getting worse. Needed to be stealthy placing this cache back as there was a taxi right near where we needed to return the cache. We put on a show, looking around at the water, leaning forward to get a better look and putting it back and then prancing over to the other side to take a look at the water there even though it did not interest us at all.

Slipped around the corner and grabbed it just before rush hour. Was incredibly sodden after the recent downpours. Paper started ripping when tried to write but found a relatively dry spot at the bottom.
I'm not against easy caches after a frustrating try to fix the lens of my photo camera. Greetings from Germany.

My sceptical attitude against fishing is still **impervious** and unchanged.
But I just had to get this series because I started it. Now got to crack the final!
Thanks for the cache!

With the hour growing late and 0/2 I needed to reel a cache in to keep the streak alive. This one practically jumped out of the water which I am very appreciative of. Tftc
Thanks for this little one, GZ was exactly where expected and hint help us with our search,
Took me longer than it should have! First magnetic one I've found. Pretending to be on my cell looking at the stream in busy muggle traffic time. Tftc
#25. We went round the back first, but that was completely unnecessary! Nice spot
