When I checked at the end of March this cache was here. Freeing up for someone else
Lunch time walk around a wider neighbourhood when the rain finally stopped! Nothing here, can it please be checked?
After finding 3 in a row which had been dnf by the last person We have to dnf this ourself. If it was attached to fishing line we found that but no cache
The co might want to check on this. I found fishing line but nothing on the end... i am, of course, assuming this is GZ....thanks from Canada
I was about to give up and leave when something caught my eye and just tried it... and found! Glorious finish for a rainy cashing day
Found on 29/12/2017.

Due to some reasons I had to stay for 6 days in Christchurch. In the end I was happy for this opportunity, started to like the city and had a lot of time for searching some caches.
Thank you to all the owner for hiding. Had a lot of fun! Sorry for the standard log, but I can't remember them in Detail.
Wish you all the best.

This morning we left the campsite at 10.30 to go on foot to the centre and look for some caches on the way. Some caches were an easy find and some were not found for different reasons.
There were no real interesting caches in this series, so we will settle for one log for them all and, when necessary, put an extra note.
It took a while to find this one but we managed.

Down in Christchurch with Gorby, Rebel98 and RustyNZ for 3 days of caching. Found the nicely themed cache.
NQF here after a short wait for muggle to walk by TFTC and greetings from the UK
This was the first full day in New Zealand for me and micaparamedic. He arrived at my place in Washington State toward the end of July. From there we found some old caches and then headed up north to The Yukon and Northwest Territories in Canada.
Next was the mega APE event in Washington followed by camping in Oregon to see the total solar eclipse. After a few day trips close to home, we headed to Australia for almost a month doing many things on my bucket list such as walking around Uluru. Now we're spending a few weeks in New Zealand before once again going our separate ways. What a trip!
Thanks for another cache as we walk around this historical area. I lived through a 6.8 earthquake centered about 5 miles from home 15 years ago. I'd rather not live through another one like that - or worse. I'd rather fish in the nearby lake.

Up in the area to meet up with the Oamaru Geofest committee. In the evening heading from our accommodation to the Escape Artist with a couple of muggle friends. Stopped on the way there and back at parks and caches.
This one was fun to do - friends formed a screen for me.

Out for a Sunday morning stroll in the drizzle nice quick find first place I looked tftc
OMG what an awful experience. Went out to grab a cache to fill a dot day at 8pm, did the nearby virtual but fretted that the CO may not approve so decided to look for a trad just in case. Got to GZ in the dark and worked out what the hint meant but just as I started looking a crazy southerly change came through making it incredibly unpleasant with a southerly wind and sideways rain. Then a couple of homeless people turned up and wanted to know what I was up to and time to high tail it out of there. A day time hunting place I think. No fault of the CO but goodness I don't like after dark caching in Christchurch.
On a world touring holiday staying locally,so a walk around Christchurch today in the sunshine collecting a few caches and dropping TB's. TFTC
Walking in here at dinner time, so this cache proved difficult in the dark and trying to not be noticed by people walking by
I'm on a 5 day caching trip in the south island. Have a few aims - Complete the Eclipse series out near Kirwee, and pick up a few specific caches that I need to complete my grid for a challenge - of finding at least one cache that was placed every month since geocaching was invented. 1800km later I can say I've accomplished my aim!

Kids went to play at nearby playground so I nipped over here to grab this. Nice hide. Thanks for placing.
My morning Geo-jog brought me here. I found it quickly. Visiting from Alaska! ~thanks #3753
Travelling through NZ I had a full day in Christchurch and whilst exploring the city found some caches - or vice versa .

At World’s End – New Zealand – One of our dream become true.
Our plan was to stay 4 weeks in New Zealand. But this wasn’t this easy to manage at work. So we moved spontanic the plan from march to november. We informed us before about point of interessts. The list was this long so we decided to go by campervan from the north to the south to have the most mobility. We arrived after way to much hours in Auckland and started there our round trip. At first we enjoyed the area in auckland and the north. In Waitomo we were able to see and enjoy glohworms in one of the famous caves. But this area had a lot of nice hiking trails were we could discovered the Piripiri Caves, Natural Bridge and the Marokopa Falls. This was already impressive to see and still the beginning of our adventure for life. The trip went on over Okere Falls Scenic Reserve direction Rotorua. In this area we enjoyed each hour, because each corner was different. We visited the Haumurana Springs – what amazing water -, Blue Lake and Green Lake and relaxed in Kerosene Creek. We liked all the water and in our travel guide we found a hike cloth to the Huka Falls, which ofcourse we did as well. All this flowers were bloom. One oft the Highlights was Wai-O-Tapu. The weather was perfect and all this colors awesome and the geysir a nice shower. By Campercan the to tour went on direction Tongariro Alpine with a short stop at Orakei Korako and the Tongariro River Loop Track. Lu like nice hiking tours and what could be the best for her birthday? Of course the famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing. We started early in the morning and walked approximately 9 hours over gras, stones, snow and colorful water. Now we had to leave the Heart of North New Zealand and went over Taranaki Falls to the East Coast with the goal Napier. The weather was cloudy and often raining but a small sightseeing was a must have. The last stop on the North Irland was Wellington. But it was only raining and some streets were already flooded. That’s why we change spontanic our plan and only did the First Cache of New Zealand and went by ship over the Marlboro Sound to Picton. We went over Farewell Spit to the lonely Wharariki Beach with sea lions. On the way back to the big streets we stopped at Waikoropupu Spring and Janie Sesson Shipwreck and drove untypical to Karamea. In Germany we do not have this much and public caves and that’s way we enjoyed this area! Cloth to the West Coast we took a look at the Pancake Rocks. The weather was just raining and so we could not see the Franz Josef and Fox Glacier, but we still visited them. We leaved the bad weather in the hills and enjoyed the Sun at Ship Creek, Thunder Creek, Fantail Falls and the Blue Pools. Wow they were relly blue and this clean and deep. I never saw something similar before. About Wanaka we read a lot in our travel guide and looked forward to it. There arrived we visited the Puzzling World and walked around the sea. Queenstown the next town we drove just through because at this time there was a marathon and it was really campervan unfriendly. So we used the time and drove to Milford Sound and enjoyed the hills surround us on the water. I never felt this small. After we are landed again on land the trip goes on to the Chasm and Clifden Caves and the Clifden Suspension Bridge. Wow what an adventure. At the end we visited a few cities like Bluff, Duneding, Moeraki Boulders and Christchurch were our Trip sadly ends.
At all this places we looked for nice and unique caches which shows us places which we never would had seen without. We enjoyed the nature and wildlife each day and it was really an adventure for life. At the end we drove approximately 5000 kilometeres and felt this relaxed.
Thanks to all owners for placing this caches and this much informations which we got about the particular areas. This was an adventure for life for us. Thanks for this beauty time.

Nice little hide, was found right where I expected it to be, so no troubles with the search in such public place. Spiderwebs **flourish** in front of the cache.
Thanks for the cache!

Find #2638. Taking a short holiday in Christchurch to explore the city by bike and collect caches. Day three and 65km down the Avon and back up the Heathcote, collecting 28 caches. A great ride! A very high tide made for an interesting time in the residential red zone with some roads inundated with water.
Quick find this early in the morning. SL TFTC

I think this is the cache that I had a bit of trouble finding. But in the end there is was. Just got side tracked
In Christchurch for the Hatch Cup hockey tournament and using the spare time in the evenings to do as many caches as possible within walking distance of where we were staying. Being dark with few muggles about meant that this was a reasonably quick find after spending a moment or two looking over GZ for possible hiding spots. Completed the formalities before heading off back to our accomodation. TFTC justmeg.
#170. Just found the grave of my maternal great great grandfather in Barbadoes Street cemetery. Really old headstone, lying flat, and only just legible. He died in 1877. From there, a short walk back to the Avon, and another nice quick walk 'n' find cache. Left the fish - tftc!
Lucky enough to have a few days spare to spend caching in the Christchurch district. Also keen to see how re-build activities are going. Can see lots of progress. The city of the future?
Picked a dreadful day to be out and about today. Dodging the sleety rain showers and hail! But we wrapped up warmly. We come from Wellington, how bad could it get?
Thanks for the fishing lesson. Yum, whitebait.
Short walk had us at GZ.
Soon made a straightforward find.
All in order; log signed, cache then safely re-hidden, just as found.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Catching up with the logging, so far behind! out caching from Auckland with rustynz and gorby
Was not sure about this one, but on checking the obvious, it was time to think about the not so obvious, and I quickly had the cache
Did a bit of fishing, and got my first clue for the bonus - not sure how long that will take, but it starts with one step. Thanks for the hide, and bringing the Westies here (rebel98 + gorby)

Came here with Rebel98 and rustynz, here in ChCh for a weekend of caching fun. Looked at the hint, but rusty was getting down dirty before me, so naturally found the cache first, good on her! No need to be silly here!
Lovely winters day to be out strolling along the Avon and looking for caches. Easy find. TFTC
Found on a weekend trip from Wgtn. Weather not too bad for winter and a clever spot for a cache.
Have been driving past this one for years. There was always road works around but today Danks007 and I went for a walk and it was in hand very quick.
TFTC.

#12371. Sunday seemed like a good day for a spot of fishing fun (especially on a very mild autumn day). The cache was quickly found (nice hide!). TFTC.
Another mild autumn day and it was nice to get out and about, and pick up the odd cache or two.
Don't know why we haven't looked for this cache before as we have been in the vicinity on several previous occasions. I suggested to StreetWalker he check out a hiding place and there it was - nice hide. Good to get on the board after starting out with a DNF. TFTC.

Had time to kill before squash with a mate, so looked for some nearby caches. This was the first and when I got to GZ this seemed to be the likely place to hide a micro. Not the first place, but got it on the second one. TFTC a favourite for me.
TFTC. Spotted a few likely hidey holes from a distance and the cache was in the second I tried. Signed BJ25.
