#14332. As luck would have it, I had sussed out the location of this cache last week (to make searching faster on low-find calendar days such as today). I got in touch with the CO after the cache was archived, and got permission to sign the log and uplift the cache. This was duly done today. TFTC.
With the neighbours taking an interest and the trees interferening with the gps I'm archiving this one. Thanks to all the previous finders
Na ... sorry not today for me. Had a good look around but no find. (Probably right in front of my eyes)
The location is not so nice, but at least I found the cache. Thank you amd greetings from Germany.
For "white" read "transparent".

I will have to try this another time. On a gentle srroll I am not dressed for a T2. I should have checked the terrain first.
Found safe dray and sound. Forgot a pencil will come back another day. Dropped of track able. Thanks.

Unlike previous finder, I found the cache wet and had to pour water out of it. I paid **homage** to Geocaching god and dried the container out with toilet paper and blew some hot air from the car on the logbook.
The only way fishing is fun to me is when eating fish&chips!
Thanks for the cache!

Very nearly gave up on this one, decided to take one further look around (or one look further around!), and there it was. Try AJ fvqr bs gerr.
Pretty much an instant find. 2nd in series for me. Looking forward to completing series. Tftc
Was not easy to find
Until you know.
I looked high
I looked low
I was in the right spot at the start haha

I accidently discovered another of this series, I like the info you're passing on. I think the native fish are near the bottom of the ecology recovery efforts Anyway TFTC
This was the tenth day of my fifteen day trip to go to the Christchurch Mega, and the first day of the Mega, so I was out with kyb3r, IF and mtbikeroz picking up the Lab caches and others. I was here yesterday, but I didn't spot the cache. Before I could log a DNF, we returned and I went a bit farther and found the cache. TFTC.
Agazo found this one after not finding it previously. Area could do with a bit of a CITO!
As one quarter of a team of four cruising around the Christchurch 'burbs today, I had lost focus on the caching !! [:o]
I cannot remember much about this find.
It was a blur of people lurching out of the 'rental car' and finding the cache by a roadside.
Log signed and we all piled back into the little silver sedan with no suspension
TFTC

In Christchurch for the NZ Mega and this was one of our stops. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
I almost did a found it for this cache! When the original place for this cache was cut down I couldn't find this cache and replaced it with a black one. Everyone still seemed to find this white one and today I found out why, it was an easy find BUT the black one was in a tree that has been cut back and has gone. SO.....
I've put a new log and baggie into the WHITE container. Take note of what is on top of the log as, again, my frishing related item has been swiped.

[green] My first day in Christchurch, having arrived last night. Normally I would head out each day and cache out a suburb, and so by the end of two weeks pretty much have cached out the city. But it is all a green field! I could not decide which way to go. So in the end I let the GPS decide. This is the first time I have cached in a city restricting myself to Garmin's Get Next Closest and seeing where it lead me. I started in the middle of town at the square and ended up at Riccarton Racecourse, with a trail of 50 little smileys behind me.
The cache was damp inside, but I now carry a towel in my cache kit, so that was soon fixed. BaldEd's replacement log does not have the hint component for the Fishing final.

IF you find the WHITE cache which has the replacement log then there won't be a fishing item on the top. You are looking for a BLACK container that has the information at the top of the log and this container should be dry on the inside
A few errands to do after work so why not grab a cache as well. Fairly busy at GZ with the late afternoon traffic but was mostly out of sight for the search. Found the cache eventually but it does seem a spot also good for empty bottles of booze which is a shame.
TFTC After work walk. Day Light Saving helps. Log wet/full/no hint on final fish colour.
Child set for cultural festival so we're off getting caches for the morning. Nice to come to little spots like this over other side of town TFTC
Was a bit daunted on arrival at GZ but found a white container after a bit of a scout about. Couldn't see the fishing info that is required for the final on the replacement log. Tftc, we enjoyed our wee wander around this neighbourhood this morning.
Paddle chick and I decided to do a bit of caching on our way to pick up my two grandchildren from school in the rain , after a bit of a search we found the cache Tftc
When we came to this area we were not too optimistic with the bridge repairs, but GPS pointed in a different direction and it was a quick find. TFTC
Sorry, not for us today. Easy to say that we tried all spots, but maybe not.... (Done over Easter, but forgot to log once home and busy again)
There was lots of activity close by with road works and house building ,but the cache was still a nice easy find. TFTC. Cheers Bo
This was a DNF at Christmas but with quite a bit of work going on with trees and in the area itself. Managed to be in ChCh for work with caching partner in crime and snuck a look in on way to drop off at airport. Nice hide given work is still ongoing. TFTC
Nice to see back in action - and the works that are finally being addressed around the area.
TFTC.
TFTC.
Czio, Your smilies got deleted because you claimed a number of my caches but your name wasn't on the logs. If you've signed the log then you won't get deleted
Had tried this before but too many workmen around .... but today no one so it was a quick find. TFTC
Hhmm. Am I getting confused by the building work and the overgrowth or am I not in the correct spot? My gps implies I am in the right spot but can't find anything.
Phew, found it after a good 5 mins in the dark with the torch. The silly things we do...
Found on a night bike ride. Contents needed a little TLC as they were quite damp. Replaced plastic bag and pencil. TFTC
My phone GPS hasn't been very helpful the last few days, so it took a while to find but we found it nonetheless. Water inside but log dry. Container no longer quite as described. TFTC
IF you find the white container, then you have found the original that I thought had been taken away when the tree was cut down. If you find the black one, then you have found the replacement, which should be dry.
Out for a quick hour of caching before heading back to Auckland.
Had attempted the one previously and failed. This time, found it without too much bother.

Soon located this one in a nice hiding spot...most things very wet but the new log nice anf dry in its bag. Tftc
For some reason this cache had disappeared from unfound list and following a computer glitch (caused by someone's fingers ) the restoration of my database brought it back. Dropped by this morning after the CITO event. The cache was wet with water and the logbook(s) sodden. Removed all contents, dried the container and some small items and left a replacement logbook in a fresh baggie. All good now.
I have been to this GZ about 4 times to far, and every single time, the lady in the house across the creek had been sitting in her deck chair, facing the GZ...no chance for a search without looking dodgy as. Thankfully, on a Saturday lunch time, we arrived to a deserted GZ...but 5 minutes later...lo and behold, this lady came outside AGAIN...thankfully, she went back inside again, and we located the cache soon after. Thanks for the cache. Good to finally get the find.
Spent a whilehere as GS had me in the wrong place. Went searching and eevntually foound. Log absolutely saturated but didn't have any spare on me. TFTC.
I certainly found A cache. Not sure if it's the replacement or if the original has turned up. The cache description says to look for a black 200ml sistema container but the one I found wasn't black. Both logs in it are wet so I was unable to gather the required information (have figured out final coords anyway).

Didn't take long to track down. Looks like someone has put a replacement logbook and plastic bag in the container as the original is pretty wet, so was unable to glean any info from it for the final. Nice and cool at GZ as the day was heating up. TFTC.
Quick find while pottering around collecting a few caches this evening. TFTC, #5640
State of the surroundings makes it seem like a lost hope but having a decent look in relation to the clues and we got it!
A quick find - no doubt because it was during the daylight!. It's pretty around here. TFTC
No luck for me (night caching). Didn't have my caching bag with me so relying on my phone for the caching app AND as a light source. Very dark and very quiet. Lights were on in the house across the road so I didn't want to go crashing about in the undergrowth.
3rd one on the way to work nice & early. Didn't have to worry about too many people being around. Pretty impressive llooking stump where the cache use to be lodged, must have been a big, big tree! Soon located the cache from it's new position, noted the references on the top, signed the log and tucked away snuggly again. Now to find the others in the series. TFTC
Living this side of town while quake house is repaired.
Grabbed this at night. A follow-your-nose sort of cache.
Thanks for it.

Found it almost immediately, no muggles in sight of the GC to notice what 1eyednbf (1 eyed and proud of it) was up to, the cache is quite wet, managed to locate a plastic bag and add a temporary log, the water was high and a little murky no bullies to be seen today. Nice today TFTC .
Up lifted the trackable. Nice find. Interesting kind of reserve. Tftc and series.
Walked solo on an epic 29km geocaching trek around the city on a beautiful sunny day! TFTC!
Found it on the way back from a visit into the re-opened New Regent street in the devastated city centre. Nice easy park and find. TFTC.
I had to walk a fair distance from my hotel to grab this cache so I am pleased I did not have a wasted journey.
