As there has been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it has been a number of months since the last owner note I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. Couldn't find it either. Maybe it's not there anymore? Or maybe we are blind??

This is still eluding me. Spent another 40 minutes here trying to find this one. Beginning to know where every leaf, rock and stump is located. Spotted someone else looking for it before me too. Not sure if he found it yet either.

Man! This is not giving up any secrets. usually there are some clues in the logs, but this one is dry! spent another hour here looking for this one with no luck

Took the Whole Team out this morning to find this cache. Find teh GZ easy enough. GPS dancing around alot. Spent nearly an hour searching for this, picking up rocks, searching around tree roots over the entire garden, picking up old wooden logs, Reading logs and looking at pictures to get an idea of size, but all to no avail. **sigh** Will have to come back and look again. A little concerned that this one might be muggled after reading the description about having to replace it exactly the same and other people moving or relocating it. More so when Some teams spotted it in less than a minute???

Anyway will keep looking

After cycling to some Cycads, I found my way here. I have seen quite a few of these whilst caching in Townsville, and have even been fooled by some real ones, which weren't caches.

This still took a while though I had preconceived ideas of a different type of hide. Mozzies were fierce in here, but I was glad of the shade to search.

Prepare yourself with mozzie repellent. Certainly distracts you from searching. Thought it had us.....widen search a little and bingo!!

As soon as we saw the hide we knew what we were looking at. We did almost get carried away by the mozzies, they are thick on sunset. Cheers.

The park was thankfully empty at our visit so we were able to search and search and search some more to our hearts content (and more!). We read through the logs multiple times but still our search was unsuccessful. Determined to find it, we persisted and eventually "friend of Lokipagan" located the container Smile. Shouldn't have taken as long as it did but there you go Smile. The pool renovations look good don't they! Thanks Psilonike

Finally ticked this one off the list. I come past everyday on my way to work, but it would look a bit silly if I searched for it in uniform. So today I decided to do some caching after work and took a change of clothes - and what do you know? - I come past and there is council muggles working close by. Came back around lunchtime Wink and no one was in sight. Quickly grabbed the cache, signed and off I went again.
Don't think it was hidden, where it should be, as it was leaning against a tree root. I hid it a little more in keeping with it's camouflage. maby cache owner should go for a check.

This one is my nemesis. Even had a good idea what we were looking for after ICP confirmed my suspicion of what it looks like! Arghhhhh lots of ground cover at the moment. We did find a snake nearby so be careful searching. We will be back AGAIN!!!

Damn this cache. I will be back with a supercharged leaf blower to clear all debris. Boys and I exploited all nooks and crannies with a stick but to no avail. We will be back.

This was our second visit to attempt to locate this cache.
After having no luck the first time and seeing that the cache was still there to be found we made a follow-up visit today.
After searching for quite a while it was more by luck that I happened to locate the well camoflagued cache container. The log was signed and the cache was returned.
Thanks Psilonike for this challenging cache hide.

Another early morning caching trip brought me here to these gardens again.
Any excuse to have another stroll through.
At GZ I spotted the hide straight away and had the shortly after.
As I knelt down for the signing I realised I was being assautled by a brigade of green ants!!
The log was a bit damp and I poured out some water from the bottom of the cache.
Another great cache.

Cheers and happy caching.

Went and checked this a few days ago and it was happily sitting in the same spot although a bit more exposed. We checked the log and cleaned up the hide but it should be safe where we put it as there was no debris where it was situated. They likely left it as is but we will check again if it isn't found. Good luck Smile

Went up the road to get this cache while power off after huge storm this morning - got to 8m of GZ as per iPhone and stopped by flooding - looked to be at least 1 ft deep - didn't fancy wading up to my knees so came home. Owner might need to check if cache still ok & not floated away!!!!

the first of 2 p&p caches for the day. as the cache container was predicted by geodad we had it in a flash which was a good thing cos the mozzies champs left were crazy. had to settle for third on this one just missing out on meeting yurt as the times indicated. geodad would have loved to have raced champs in the storm but was out of town playing 8 ball and would not be the done thing for geomum to go solo with 3 little kids...... to a park ...... at night ...... in a thunder stormTwisted gotta give champs props for his enthusiasm though, nice work.Big Grin thanks must go to p&p for getting in on the cache setting game tftc. look forward to your upcoming hidesBig Grinsl. t:n l:n ps. geomum is setting some local geo challenges so try them out if you likeRazz

Jumped in the car this morning with a few hours to spare before my plane home and fired up the smartphone with c:geo - what's this? I don't recall this cache? Looked it up and it was unfound? A chance for a FTF in summer'skoby's home town? Let's go.

Got there around 7am and the gates were closed but could walk through. Armed only with the smartphone I searched one area amidst ravenous mozzies and occasional rain but gave up and headed away.

Not the end of the story though...

08-Mar-12
Came back a bit later armed with a 'real' GPSr and got myself in a slightly different area, amazing what a difference that made as I found it fairly quickly although it was a bit stubborn. Opened it up to find I was ...2TF! As I'm not on cache alert for Townsville, being from Sydney, I wasn't aware of this last night and probably wouldn't have gone out in that storm. I do stress 'probably'.
Anyway sorry to miss SK - nice to beat him to a cache for once though!

Thanks to the unpronounceable caching team for the hide!

#75 Let me paint you a picture..

It was just after 8 pm on a Wednesday night. I had just got home from work, and was glad I had no reason to go out because it was bucketing down. And I mean bucketing. The end of my Court looked like a swimming pool, and even the mailbox (10 metres from the door)had disappeared in the grey murk of the driving rain.

Suddenly my phone chirped at me, and I soon discovered that a new cache had been published. "MONKEYS.... Operation Beat Summer'skoby is in effect"

We raced out to the car, grabbing umbrellas and raincoats as we went. Unfortunately, Boss Lady followed us out, and after a few barked orders and some grumbling about sniffles and colds, the Monkeys were returning to their rooms to get ready for bed. I was also informed that my dinner was on the table. "Damn it woman, I'm the man of this house. I'll eat it when I get back.... Who wears the pants in this family?"

So after I enjoyed a magnificent meal, lovingly prepared by the most beautiful woman to ever walk the face of the planet, who I love and worship, and I wonder where I can get flowers from at this time of night, I begged my pardon and skulked back to the car, having lost all hope of getting there before SK.

At GZ, I quickly found myself standing ankle deep in water with a torch in my mouth, a GPS that jumped 2-3 meters in every direction every few seconds and one free hand to scrounge through the bushes. The sky would light up every few minutes with lighting which made me jump every time. The mozzies were eating me alive, which was a surprise because it was still pouring down.

Anyway, when all hope of a find was lost, I saw something submerged in front of me. It was obvious what it was, but could it be a cache. A quick tug proved that it was not as secure as it should have been, and a quick look at the writing on the side proved that I had a find.

At this point, I was expecting to see SK’s name at the top of the log, as has been the case so many times before…… But it was blank…. FTF you ripper.

Thank you P&P for an excellent and sneaky cache.
Thank you Ministro for publishing it on such a horrible night. I think that’s what got us the FTF.
And thank you to my wife for being so understanding and loving and beautiful, and yes it is a silly game, and yes I promise to grow up……. One day.
