Logs
Due to a log that stated that there have been a lot of changes and earth movements by GZ and that it most likely is not here anymore, the reason we placed the cache here because of the full sized cow statue, we have decided to archive the cache. We are now not allowed into this area as it is part of NSW and we have no idea how long this restriction will last.
We thank all those who've driven out this way to geocache and have enjoyed the drive. Thank you for stopping to find this one and get smiley face.
Cheers and happy caching!

Gps very unfriendly..couldn't get lower than 8m...used hint but still.no find then noticed 2 previous dnfs..it may be gone
Kestal and I headed south from Toowoomba on a numbers grab for her next milestone...despite the wet weather this cache is in a dry hidey hole and is very, very dusty...super glad it is safe from the weather or it would have been mud. All good here. TFTC Aussie Liahona.
Eskies5 and I planned a trip to Stanthorpe and surrounding areas to nudge me a little closer to a milestone. With the nudge now being a push this was the fifty-third stop of what would be 58 finds for the day for me. With the rain easing we both jumped out of the car in the hope to make a quicker find before the rain came again. Eskies5 made the find at 12:07pm our time and 1:07pm caches time. All returned by Eskies5 before it was time to head into the next one. TFTC

We had loaded up Scooby Doo (Car) & the Mystery Machine (Van and mobile GEO HQ) and headed off for 6 days of camping and caching. Our first stop was a lavender farm not too far from Stanthorpe where we set up the Mystery Machine and headed off to do some of the local caches.
We took nothing but memories; we left nothing but footprints, and our tag.
The hide is excellent, the container is in good nick. and the log is in good condition and ready for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona.

out and about in the Granite belt so I thought I would grab some caches while in the area. TFTC
Decided to spend a day caching in the Stanthorpe area before Christmas.
Well, we got in 1/2 a day before the heavens opened up ..

Out with Maski and Skippy on a beautiful sunny day in Stanthorpe - day time temperature quite mild compared to when the sun sets. Only Snow we have encountered has been in this series though the morning white frost attests to how cold it is. Great to have some new caches to do at one of our favourite locations. Thanks to Aussie Liahona for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Found at 2:57 PM GAFF1.
Wow - now that is one big letterbox! The biggest we have ever seen. We started to head for it and then looked at our GPSr and immediately made a "U" turn
Thanks Aussie Liahona.

Being a cow lover this was just the best cache! Checked the cow out - especially as someone in the car said you might have to lift the tail to retrieve the mail. The farmer certainly put a heap of effort into that letterbox! Cache was soon found and on we went.
Whoohoo! That there moo cow should be a letterbox cache!
But we settled for the one on the other side of the road in a log.
Found at 12.30pm on 9th December, 2015. TFTC.

While out and about with Mr & Mrs RoddyC for a few days of caching this was on our list and having recently moved to the country and looking for a letterbox idea, watch out my family I now have BIG ideas. This was one of those caches you walked to the spot turned around and went, how did I miss that. TFTC
A quick trip to Stanthorpe for the traditional but a little early Xmas in July event for 2015. I took the opportunity to tackle the caches along the once was Mt Lindsay Highway but is now Mt Lindsay Road.
I had travelled the dirt section while at the mega to get to Bald Rock but that was just about sight-seeing. Today was different. I saw the sunrise at Amberley, bypassed the traffic jam at Aratula and made a beeline for Liston and the nearby Undercliife Falls. I headed south to Tenterfield and tackled everything along the way, before heading north to Robins Nest and the event and the overnight stay.
I got this one on the way out from the falls as a car emerged from the driveway as I approached. Great letterbox.
Thanks for placing this cache Aussie Liahona

Today we did some post Mega caching finding 83 and 2 DNFs caches. Our aim today was to try and finish the caches on the eastern side of Stanthorpe to Tenterfield and return. We enjoyed the journey that the cache locations took us to especially the Mooooooooooo!!
We appreciate the time and effort gone into placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Alansee and Phetlern (signed as MAP), at 1015. On our last day of caching with friends, we headed southward along the Mt Lindesay Road towards Tenterfield. A great day of interesting caches, waterfalls and historic locations What a wonderfully realistic letter box! We all took photos. Gave it a favourite Our thanks to Aussie Liahona.

Following the fun and games of the Qld Mega, our caching today took on a different focus. With Alansee and maccamob, we headed in a south easterly direction from Stanthorpe. To continue our conservation of log space in those horrible micro's, we signed as MAP. There was time to enjoy the scenery, visit the waterfalls, read the notes on the cache pages more carefully which gave us a greater appreciation of why caches have been placed in particular locations.
What a great letter box.
Our thanks to Aussie Liahona for bringing us here.

Found with Phetlern and Maccamob on our last day of caching in the area before going our respective ways. We all really enjoyed this back road with its many caches.
What a marvelous letterbox! It certainly does deserve a cache . Mrs. Herbz usually keeps her distance from these bovine creatures however, she didn't mind posing for a photo next to this one. TFTC Aussie Leahona an FP from us as it gave us a laugh!
Loved the name, loved that placid looking Fresian standing nearby. TFTC Aussie Liahona

Out and about with Roostaman and lgoody today. It was supposed to be a day up at Bald Rocks National Park today but the rain has put a hold on that plan. Luckily we had a few caches close by to do. Managed to grab this without getting too wet.

Loved the cow! Loved the hiding spot. What a great afternoon we have had - taught a new geocacher and helped another to get up to 10! Thanks for this great activity!
Nice trip out on the way to Undercliff Falls. That is one awesome mailbox! GPS weren't overly happy with the overcast day and trees, but could see the signature signs from the road as to where the cache would be. Lo and behold, there it was.

The old girl was all done up for Christmas when I arrived today. Stopped to take a happy snap before going to look for the cache
Apologies for the extremely late log. Went on our annual camping trip to Boonoo Boonoo with friends and completed Basket Swamp the day before. Everyone else climbed Bald Rock (the hard way) on the day we found this cache. We decided not to this time as we were flying out on an overseas trip and decided not to risk an injury to either of us so close to our flight date. So did something safer and captured the rest of the caches along this road. On return from our trip, I discovered these on my GPS found list. I remember saying to Mr Straddie Heaven - Moooove over this one's mine haha TFTC Aussie Liahona
Found while Caching in the area. We had seen the cow on the way down to Rivertree and were pleased to see a Cache placed near here. Nice hide TFTC.
A great letter box but no photo with flat batteries on camera but cricketmad got one and instagramed it. Is that a word?
Now for getting the cache there was lots of possible hides and cricketmad got it. There was a trackable in the cache but not sure who put it here. Will move it on soon. TFTC Aussie Liahona.

We passed this one on the way to the Falls and I was really hoping there would be a cache here and there was mind you I didn't realise the cow was a letter box but I did insist Mr Gap take a photo of me with said cow. It was so life like at first I was concerned there had been some taxidermy of sorts going on but after a cuddle (with the cow not Mr Gap) I realised it was a good replica. Mr Gap found the cache quickly and we signed the log book Thanks for putting a cache here AL
Heading to the falls today and Ms Wig spotted this one.... she was very happy on our return that there was a cache there!! Apparently the first photo I took wasn't good enough, so I had to take another one!!
Thanks AL.
Thanks AL.
I wonder where this cow came from? That's also an impressive solar set up on the nearby house.
Cache was eventually found after we left the cow alone. TFTC

Okay, so there was a cache nearby, but really, the letterbox tends to distract you . What an amazing piece of work. I would like to know the what, where and why behind it. Such a delightful find [^].
Out for a drive in the bush, found some good caches while seeing some great sights.

This was our 11th cache in our caching run today.
(So this is our 5128th total find.)
Today we decided that we would travel from The Summit down through the back roads to Tenterfield.
Had we known we were going to do this one, we would have saved our cow swap from the previous cache.
Took: Nothing
Left: Dog

What a great cache description you have given this one, Aussie Liahona. I sincerely hope everyone heeds it and leaves the fellow's bovine alone.

Haha, the jokes were flying about thick and fast as Fangsoki and I approached this cache with a fun name. We arrived and a mighty fine cow it is. There looked to be people in the house down the drive, but paid us no interest. Nor did the cows as promised. Headed towards the co-ords and I soon had the cache uncovered. An interesting spot to stop. TFTC Aussie Liahona
We'd attended a 21st at Willson's Downfall....and the afternoon of the next day found us wondering what to do.....what else but find a cache or two. So it was we staggered off into the distance.
