bunadoorian and I were out for a drive this morning and picked up some caches along the way. I found the cache first. TFTC - Aussie Liahona and to Team Robins for helping to maintain this cache.
Out for a little ride around Stanthorpe (well not so little) as we cruised out to Undercliffe Falls and then back to do a very enjoyable circuit route.
Thankfully this was a quick find. Signed the log then back on the road to hopefully find the last couple on the list before the sun sets.TNLNSL.TFTC ...
Going camping around Stanthorpe this weekend and picking up some caches along the way.
Noticed the feature straight away and made a quick find.

Good hint. Pity I never noticed it last time I was here. Found with goldielover. Took quite some time again today.
All good here with your cache

I’m on my way to finally find a cache I’ve not found 3 times, so I decided to do some nice easy driving and caching on the way. TFTC!
Talk of the gates was a bit deceptive - take care when crossing the road! Tourist drivers seem to think that there won’t be anyone on foot when they drive along a quiet country road!

We had the opportunity to spend Easter in Stanthorpe so took advantage of the days off to find some caches while we were here. A nice quick park and grab here. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Out and about for a Sunday Drive, border hopping today, wanted to targer Liston and Amosfield, then on to Stanthorpe. 10 finds, 3 dnfs, and a write note for the day. Happy with that.
We were stumped at first took me a while to work out the connection with the name of the cache to the actual location, but then I realised.
Thanks for the chance to search for this hide and the drive along this beautiful country road.

While on my way back from Tenterfield to find some high elevation caches to fulfil a challenge north of Brisbane, I stopped to find this cache along this road.
I wondered how this cache got its name and I soon realised when I pulled over at this gate. Very clever. Followed the compass and soon found the cache. SL then returned as found.

Coordinates changed to:
S 28° 39.383 E 152° 3.724
Distance from original: 69.6 feet or 21.2 meters.
The previous hide was disintegrating fast so we relocated the cache to a spot that should last a bit longer. Think wickets and stumps.

We cast our net wide from the gate and beyond the coords, above below in and under, but no smiley did we find
Wandering the backroads near the border on a sunny day.
The container is dry however the clips that hold the lid on are broken. It fits tightly into the gap so should be fine for now

Kestal and I headed south from Toowoomba on a numbers grab for her next milestone...a total of 57 required...it was a case of see how we go as to whether the numbers would add up today to accomplish her own personal challenge or another trip would be required. There were quite a few on her list that I had already found but I was happy to play chauffeur so she could accomplish her goal. By 11am we were surprised how well we were doing and decided to go for the "big one". A fun day was had and my thanks goes to you for the part you played...apologies for the generic log. TFTC Aussie Liahona.
Eskies5 and I planned a trip to Stanthorpe and surrounding areas to nudge me a little closer to a milestone. With the nudge now being a push this was the forty-fifth stop of what would be 58 finds for the day for me. Found this cache at 11:28am our time and 12:28pm the caches time with not a problem. All signed and returned. TFTC
Out for a day trip from Stanthorpe to Tenterfield via the Highway and return along Tourist Route 7 caching along the way ,most were quick finds while a couple took a bit longer

Search everywhere for this litle fella. GZ had us next to a significant hide possiblities, but nothing there. check all the loose ends and some not so loose but nothing.
Morning planned for geocaching. My amazing Geo-Wife KaleidoscopeCass and I were on the hunt for geocaches. It ended up with us getting home around 10pm in Toowoomba. Thanks for the cache. Signed WT + KC to save space on logs.
Adding a favourite point for the name and location. Love the creativity here, and also loving the summer of cricket at home with geohubby WallabyTim. Go the Brisbane Heat! TFTC
Wandered more than necessary for this one but loved checking out the wicketts
15 of 32 caches found today.
Having successfully put to bed the newly published Winter series, #1 thru #10, it was time to spring into action & convert some more smilies around the local area.
Winter the Geo-cat was happy to continue, she loves caching days & long country drives.
Another nice quick find.
Nicely themed cache.
The 'drizzle' was getting a little heavier but still quite pleasant.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Out caching today and this one that I found ... TNLN ... TFTC, replaced the log book as the other was saturated
Love that entry!
Found my 2nd last new souvenir yesterday, so today Pa agreed to chauffeur me around. A few days ago we started the Mount Lindesay trail from the south, so what better thing to do today than attack it from the north while staying in Stanthorpe.
Again Pa was fantastic, suggesting even more caches than I had on my list. We were very successful with only 2 DNFs and 25 smilies. Even the DNFs may become smilies if the COs accepts my photos.
Thanks to all COs for placing these caches to add to the interest of our travels.
Logs were signed either as Smittengranny or as SG.

A few caches found in the lovely area in spare time before competing in a Mountain Bike Orienteering Rogaine.
Day 2 of my trip to Stanthorpe and surrounds. I was headed to Bald Rock, but was distracted by the constant "ding" of the GPSr in the geomobile telling me that I was approaching another cache. What to do about that? Stop and find the cache, of course! Found safely tucked away. TFTC
We have returned to Stanthorpe to visit our friends Team Robbins before we continue on our adventures north. We still have many caches to find around this beautiful part of Queensland and with the weather being so perfect we set out to find a few. This is one of several we found today. I wish I had a better understanding of cricket so that I could have understood the clue, we found the cache after a short hunt in a less likely place.
thanks

An appropriate cache to find on day 3 of the boxing day test! Went to 3rd slip but no better than Smith - I dropped it. TFTC.
Staying in the area for a few days, camping and geocaching.
Today we are heading to Stanthorpe to find a few caches. This cache was found in the third spot we checked.
Thanks for the cache
