A little sceptical being high tide but we chanced it anyway! A small walkway around to this one and we had the cache in hand! Quick find TFTC.
Early morning caching with Net and Supernannny, before heading home today. The tide was out and it just right for finding these 3 coastal caches. This was the first find of the three. SN was leading the group and spotted this one on our approach. The log was full and damp but we managed to squeeze our names on it. TFTC
Found on a coastal walk with Supernannny and Jag50 on our Geoaching Holiday.Paper full , but managed to squeeze initials in .
Enjoyed walking round part of this coastal inlet near Matua today..Today is the last day of our 3 Day minibreak, sadly.Quick find here today....
The NSWOA dragged Mr out of bed to hit these 3 caches while the tide was out. Mr still had sleepies in his eyes and he walked straight past, while the NSWOA yells found it, the cache is behind you. Tftc
GPS was directing us closer to the water but someone's photo helped us find ir. TFTC
Took a little bit of looking, but found this guy on a bike around the city. Thanks
Found over the weekend (Saturday) and forgot to log it! was a fun find with my big boy
Passing through visiting some friends in Otumoetai. Noted it was low tide so headed down to the estuary to collect three caches. Found it was easiest to just take off the shoes and enjoy the soft sand. Nice container at GZ. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley
What a lovely day after last night's storms. Perfect for caching and no muggles around. A quick find. TFTC
I woke up early so headed out for a walk on the beach while the tide was out.
Nice accurate co ords made this a super quick find.
Thanks for putting this here

Last cache for the afternoon before heading back. Tide was in but was able to follow the rough trail along here to make an easy find, cheers
Yikes, high tide but yippee a path but yikes theres been some tidying up but yippee not there. That's a find. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks. I thought that the pruning work may have disturbed the cache but no, all good.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. The weather was mostly fine. I got in some biking and walking, but too many dnf's for my liking. We cruised around Tauranga And we had another great day!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Took us a little bit to narrow it down but a previous log helped us a lot. Wasnt long until we spotted something and pulled the cache closer. Had no idea this area was here!
Out exploring a new part of town today. GPS was a bit out for us but spotted something out of place and sure enough there it was. Tftf!
No one around this morning. GPS was a bit wobbly but spotted something suspicious. Tftc
Omg this is so smart lol it’s my first geocatch but surprisingly wasn’t as hard as I thought
That was a bit of an epic, unintentionally. But in my defence, the geocaching map suggested there was a path along the coast below the houses. It was high tide and I managed to clamber my way over rocks and gabions until the way became completely impossible. I saw some rotting steps leading past a locked gate up to a smart house so I approached the house (after climbing over said gate) - a house where all the windows were open and jandals also lying around. I called out “hello” numerous times and even the odd “g’day” but nobody answered me. I found an open gate but came to another locked area. Once again I was completely trapped. I then tried a neighbouring set of steps (after rescaling the locked gate), and luckily on this occasion I didn’t have to climb over a locked gate or under any portcullis. I walked straight out into a private drive with no one accosting me. Meanwhile, CatNich had taken the sensible option of going round by the road, and had found the cache and signed me in. Phew! Moral: don’t believe everything you see on the map, particularly with New Zealand coastal paths.
I took the high road round to here because it was high tide and the direct route was impassible! Luckily it was an easy find at GZ. The route to the next along was also under water so unfortunately we had to give that a miss. Nice hide - TFTC
Easy?! Maybe I’m blind but I’m going to need some more obvious hints or a bit more patience than my 4 & 5 year olds allowed for...
Co-ords and hint had us searching in the wrong area at first. Had a look at some activity and once we found what we were looking for and widened our search we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Truely hanging! Was pouring with rain but such afresh walking spot. Thanks for the hide, hint was perfect.
Seems the Cache Carnival doesn’t like Write Notes turned to Found It logs, so I’ll re-log my find...
Well what a morning! After three DNFs (one local) I had a go at this one as I need a find today. Fortunately found it despite high tide. Yes, cockies are in residence. I also note the last two purported finders’ names are not evident on the log. Oh well, whatever spins their wheels. TFTC

Pretty easy find, did a little bit of TLC, removed soggy wet log and put current log in a new bag. Hope that is ok. TFTC
Had come down to find the new one but had to call it off as the tide was coming in fast and didn't feel like getting wet. So decided to grab this one. Oh and it's night. Lol. But this was quickly found. Went to take it out and discovered a weta hugging it. got a pic for you. So carefully removed him. Cache is pretty wet inside. But signed log. After here went further along and got stuck between high tide and a slip. So escape through someone's property. lol. Tftc
Yay!! we found it not that hard but i couldn't be bothered to get cockroaches all over me so i let my mum and my brother do the job when they said"found it" i ran to see and there it was the cache, when we found it it was nice and clean. p.s you will be lucky if there is no cockroaches in the cache.
Had a nice walk along the beach during low tide to this one. A relatively quick find. A beautiful area for a cache. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
Sarahbee20 did indeed yelp when we found this one dripping with cockroaches. Yuk. But thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot that I hadn't visited before. Tftc.
This was number 14 of a one day geocaching adventure with KathyKaches and I where we found about 30 caches all up. We really enjoyed walking along the track to this cache, what a beautiful view and so hidden away from the city. Found the cache quickly but gave a yelp when i picked it up and had to drop it - it was teeming with roaches yuck. Quickly signed and returned. Thanks for the cache
Nice afternoon walk along the beach. Fairly easy find but holder was full of cockroaches! I hate cockroaches! Logbook was very damp so added a waterproof replacement. TFTC.
Over in the bay for the weekend, and took a walk around the peninsula to pick up some smileys. One eluded me, but this was great. Lovely walk, TFTC
First hanging cache for us! Forgot our pen but added a couple more treats to the cache

What a beautiful place to sit and think. So peaceful. No trackables in the cache which was a tad disappointing when 2 are showing up as being in there. (I wish people would log them into their inventories when they take them.) TFTC very cool!
We had parked by Kings Cache, so walked down here for a quick find. I like the hint.
It was beautiful down here. The tide was fairly full and the sun was slipping behind the hills, throwing out glorious colours. Thanks for a lovely end to our caching day in the bay (over from Hamilton), 26 finds, a few DNFs, a tasty cookup brunch in a park and lots of interesting places to explore. We'll find our motel now, then do it all again tomorrow.

Sixty two steps all the way to the bottom !!!! The grass had been mown so I was able to walk along the top.
After a wander, a poke here and there and the discovery of a rat trap the clues led me right to my target. Yay!!!!!
Dislodged a baby cockroach and extracted the bagged log. The bag was a tad wet so I laid everything out to dry whilst I signed the log. Bag dry and log returned safely, and all then replaced as found.
Wandered back to the stairs - 62 steps back to the top!!!! That's both ways !!!!! @@ but tftc anyway, lol.

No one about so easy to locate. Another Tauranga spot I have not visited before. TFTC
