I looked all over the bus shelter. The coords were sending my to a nearby fence, that looks like it or at least a part of it has been rebuilt and painted. I wonder did this fence used to be green? I found a nice cache sized hole in the last post but no cache.
A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area today. Not so well camoed now. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
A nice simple drive by here and the cache was in hand in no time at all.
Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07.
Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07.
Had visited this once before but a muggle was parked in exactly the wrong place for us to look. All good today and the cache was quickly located, signed and returned. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache.
This hide had me looking in all the obvious places without finding the cache. Stood back and followed the gps and spotted something sparkle in the sunlight and on closer inspection I knew that's what I had been looking for.

Can't believe I haven't seen this before in my four earlier visits! Finally found the sucker. That's the last down this end of the Bass Hills, till more are put in, of course. TFTC
Suscoe had a bit of exploration work today trying to find a good number of caches that we missed this week as we were wandering the countryside of this area.
We are enjoying wandering the country roads and taking in the farmland scenes around here, Some fine looking cattle too.
A cloudy start to the day with drizzle keeping things cool, a strong wind at times and later on some delightful sunshine too.
27th find of the day.
Well the afternoon turned out to be really sunny.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for placing this cache here.

Hi there Gonefishen07.
We found your cache "Keotsveldts Corner"at 3:09:00 PM today, & this now makes our find count 12672.
Today we chauffeured Gonefishen07 around the countryside as she wanted to do a maintenance run on some of her caches. She's a hard task mistress - we had to find each one without any help whatsoever.
We covered a lot of ground today and found a variety of cache hides, visited an "off grid" totally solar powered house, and even found this cache which we DNF'd the other day. (Dunno how we missed it the first time. ) When we finished our run we found that we had logged 19 and DNF'd 0 caches.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

This is the 1st of 1 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 11:43:00 AM, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so a DNF from us - - - not stating it's not there... just that we couldn't spot it.

Found this one on the way back to my accomodation from the event in Wonthaggi. I looked in the wrong place initially but then the sneaky and audacious cache was located and the log signed.
Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07.
Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07.
Decided to just have a quick look. Will have to come back. Couldn't find despite fairly good look.
Think I have lost my caching ability this weekend, a few dnf's. Here goes another one.
We headed out to this one as it was getting late and I didn't feel much like walking, so a drive by was appreciated. We were happily surprised at the location and it didn't take long to find.
Camped at Korumburra and today we went sightseeing, picking a few caches along the way.
Waited for the GPS to settle, then made a quick find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Gonefishen07, for us and others to find.

An afternoon of caching led me along the windy country road to this cache. A scenic drive and enjoyed soaking in the beautiful landscape.
Upon arriving at GZ, ended up searching in the wrong place. Followed my GPSr and after reading hint and making sense of it (long time since I've seen the muppets), found cache after a quick search. As others have noted, logbook is very wet and need of maintenance. Managed to sign.
TFTC!

Founds this one quickly with hubby whilst babies slept in the car. Such a beautiful view from near GZ..
Thanks Gonefishen
Thanks Gonefishen
Had a bit of a look for this one, but with limited time and so many places a cache could be hidden, decided to leave this one for another day.
We came to Wonthaggi for the weekend with misschief18

Some things in life just take waaaay to long and for me this is one of them.. I lost count how many times ive stopped and looked for this. Perseverance paid off and the log was signed. TFTC
Found it with ceebee2013. It is much easier to find a cache when you don't have to avoid the eyes of a ride-on mower driver.
12.07pm 09/11/2013. Third signing for the day (with dgfb33)

Team Mornington visited your cache today, - Hazey1, Biger12, Geo Jnr Colin and Saulman1010.
Long weekend caching trip, Aiming for a bike ride with the boys to clear a few caches around Wonthaggi
Bit warm today but still a great day out.
TFTC and bringing us here.

Team Morno (Hazey1, Biger12, Saulman1010 and Geo Jnr Colin), nice warm day to be out and about caching. GPS took us straight to to, quick find. On way back to car was passed by local fire brigade on way to a callout.
Hard find. Eventually found it with crigithis by my side. Thanks Brusue, nice micro. TFTC.
Found at 3:41 PM GAFF3 - not that the hint gave much away. Haven't been around this area for many years and it is good to get some personal insight to structures that we would otherwise just pass by.
Thanks Brusue
Thanks Brusue

On the drive back to Melbourne from completing the Bass Coast walk decided to take the long way back by zig-zagging my way north thru the back country roads until it would be time to gun it home for tea. Some nice clever hides found this afternoon as well as some nice classics and thru out this part of Victoria there are just some amazing views seen. I'll be back to do more of the region soon, a great afternoon.
After parking near by zero in on GZ and checking the hint confirmed what I expected it would be so the process began and after a few minutes the log was finally signed and returned. Just in time as it was now raining. TFTC Brusue, 1st of a few of yours found today.

Continuing on our trip around this great part of the country it looked like it was going to be a Brusue day. We pulled up near the bus stop and started our search, the GPSr would not settle for a while but when it did we moved our search a little and Diane soon had the well hidden cache in hand and we now have our names in the log. It must have been good to see the names still of the blackboard after such a log time, it would be nice to know if they are still there.
Again our thanks Brusue

KTCvic ventured out on a Gippsland Gallop today rounding up approximately 40 caches. What a fantastic day it was too, as we were able to soak up some rays as well as the views, as we made our way eventually to Cape Patterson.
As we were searching for the cache, someone pulled up and said your in the right spot, and the discovery was made, we chatted briefly then he was off, allowing us to sign the log then hit the road.

Yet another legendary night caching run by the The Demolition Crew (TDC) consisting of course of myself, Quasar3671 and TrailRunning.... Tonight we decided to hit the Rail Trail in Wonthaggi by gonefishin07. We started the trail just before nightfall and finished around midnightish. So about 6 hours in all, returning the next day to collect the newly published ones. For the whole trail, we we able to find 2 FTF's and no DNF's at all. Personally for the whole trip, including the caches done on the way down to Melbourne, just over 90 finds. Pretty stoked with that. After the rail trail we completed a few others around Wonthaggi as well.
We had a huge amount of fun on the night, riding, chatting and joking around while we did the Rail Trail. We also got to drive around Wonthaggi and surrounds collecting some other caches.
Very pleasant at night in here. TFTC, a pretty quick find.

The Demolition Crew (Quasar3671, Trailrunning and Blacklegend) had been watching over the weeks as the Rail Trial series had been gradually laid out. With great anticipation we watched as the last caches were being placed and published and just had to do a night bike run to do the series. With all the plans set, we made our separate ways to Wonthaggi, placing cars at strategic points and then heading back to the start to begin the nights adventure.
We had a great night with plenty of laughs, as we made our way along the trail, stopping at each cache hide to make the find. The plethora of cache types and hides was really impressive with quite a few having us standing about scratching our heads (maybe even adding a few grey hairs). It paid to have the three of us there as on more than one occasion two of us would be searching frivolously and the third TDC team mate would just pull the cache out of nowhere. We even managed to find one of the last yet to be published hides (and is it turned out these were published less then 12 hours later).
The ride was nice and easy with many highlights along the way. Many thanks go to Gonefishen07 and her helper Hearse068 for spending the time and effort in laying out such a great and fun power trail. Once we completed that we loaded the bikes into the cars and then proceeded to find some caches in town before making our way back home. All in all 66 caches found by me for the night.
With the trail completed we loaded up and spent some time caching about Wonthaggi town before taking the scenic route back north east to home. I always like caching through here as the views and scenery are really nice, even on a clear night. It took a few minutes to locate the cache but we got there in the end. Thanks for the hide.

After a week or two of new publications in the Wonthaggi area it was time for The Demolition Crew (Quasar3671, Blacklegend & TrailRunning) to pack the bikes and organise a night of fun and laughs riding the Rail Trail gathering micro’s all the way. It was loads of fun, and in some cases frustration (nano’s in the bush and all) but a great trail to ride and find caches. By the end of the day, I had gathered 75 smilies, with others in the crew getting 60+ and 80+ for the day. The Rail Trail series here is a good one, and while there are many highlights, the best find of the night was a FTF on an unpublished cache! You just have to love the 200 metre spacing along this route to predict likely spots.
Found with geo daughter, had looked a few times before and each time it eluded us. This time the container presented itself a little easier, I pushed it back into the cammo more.
A clever cache. One never knows what to look for and thats the great part about Geocaching. TFTC Brusue
A quick find on our Gippsland tour today before heading into Wonthaggi tonight for dinner. TFTC
Nice hide. Think I have been here 5 times, and must have looked at the GZ a few times but not recognised it. Thanks for the hide.
Found 1530 pm. Just about to give up and one last look revealed cache. Hint thru me off a bit. TFTCSL
On my way over to the Island for work tomorrow and decided to go a day early and clean a few cache's up on the way. Quick find. Thanks Brusue for the cache.
