I took a kid of my friend Geocaching for the first time today and after we couldn't find another one, we went for this one and found it pretty quick. Thank you for giving her a great time!
My favorite outdoor concert experience would probably be P!nk - the Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour - 25.07.2010 as part of the Odderøya Festival in Kristiansand, Norway. I saw a couple of shows around Europe of that tour but I would pick this one as my favorite one as it was the last one of the tour (and also the last before she had her baby and came back in 2012). Firstly, the location was breathtaking, it was held on a hilly area, a little in the bushes, we queued next to a lake (where some of us even had a swim before the show). It was just a beautiful atmosphere, everyone (Fans who followed her around as much as the musicians) were emotional. Butch Walker, who is a good friend of her, and his band, the Black Widows, were supporting, they did a great job, he went to the crowd exactly were I was and kept singing.
When P!nk was on later, she really enjoyed it and took her time because she knew it was the last show, and so did her husband Carey Hart who surprised her on stage in one of her outfits which was a bit ridiculous but also incredibly cute! And she just couldn't get over it, she was cracking up laughing and talking about it for about ten minutes included making up some lyrics about it to one of her songs. All in all a really unforgettable night, and after the show they sent off some of these flying lanterns you set on fire from behind the stage.

Quick easy find. The best open air concert I have been to was Ronan Keating in Kings Park. Thank you for bringing us to this lovely location. TFTC
Slipped away during a family picnic while on holiday down in mandurah. Left a patgtag to celebrate the first find of the year!
We are over here from South Australia & caching is always on our agenda. Its my 30th Birthday today so the geokiddies & I decided that we would come this playground for a picnic lunch & a cache was close by to be found. Geokiddies really enjoyed this area. Best place in Mandurah. TFTC
On a night caching we attempted it was our first of the night that we found TFTC great location nice view even at night
On a park and playground tour with the kids found this cache before being carried away by the mozzies!!
Nicely hidden. Easy find. Had some time to enjoy the Quarry Adventure Park. ZilVert came as well for the second time, trying not to give anything away.
Found cache and signed up to Munzee.
Best outdoor concert for me was definately Cold Chisel.....

TFTC Maddmum. Ever since the geocaching event hosted by 'jasnjanine' wanted to get back here with the grandkids and let them have a good go on the various lots of play equipment and just appreciate the setting with the quarry and the fabulous, kid friendly area. The upside is that we got to do the caches in this area as well. Let our grandson find this one and fill in the log. He's a budding geocacher. TNLN.
Hunted this one with sugarygoodness at the event. Obviously I had a "man look" first time round as she uncovered it in a place I already searched. Oops. Quickly signed log and rehid just as half of FelixII was approaching from around the corner. Tftc jasenjanine
Found @ 13:01!
Find #3 for today (including the Event GC47DF1 - 'j & j Say G'Day to WA').
Found during the nearby Event after I had some food and started work on the new Multi-cache (GC47KGD - 'The Quarry Adventure') nearby!
Quite easy find, with a nice view of part of the old quarry behind the fence.
TNLN TFTC!

At event with dnanx & geotoddler, I found this one after area was searched by dnanx and two fellow geocachers. Yay! TFTF!
A quick dart off from jasenjanines event had me find this before proceedings started.
[:(!] Did a three day caching run to Mandurah with geowife to incorporate the event being held there "J & J Say G'Day to WA - (GC47DF1)", and picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them, we are at the event, parked the geocar as close as to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ we had the cache in hand within a couple of mniutes, with a lot of help from fellow caches, how could you miss this one.

Headed off to the event today and went to get this one before everything was in swing. As I arrived with Holdfast, we found the cache in Kyzabra hand so it wasn't too hard!

While attending the event we wandered off to locate this cache.
Found while accompanied by GrumpyBump
Thanks Maddmum

Found with LouBla after the very successful "j & j Say G'Day to WA" event today. Great day, lots of caches found, no DNFs! What could be better? Thanks Maddmum.
Luckily we arrived at GZ to see a group of cachers returning the cache to its hiding spot, so no trouble for us. TFTC
An easy find. We could hear another cacher crashing around in the bush looking so we knew we were close.
We found it before them though. Proof that GPS's are more accurate than iphones under bush cover.
Thanks for the cache

Like plenty of others, I used the opportunity to log this cache after attending a nearby event. Thanks Maddmum.
5 May 2013, Day 7 of our Trip Around Australia
Today was full on Cachemania; We were off to “j & j Say G'Day to WA” GC47DF1, a caching event in the Mandura area at the Quarry Adventure Playground. This cache would be our #400, a great way to reach this milestone. We aimed to get off early so we could try to grab my GA4877 Bingo moveable cache nearby. We ended up leaving later than planned due to delays caused by the children, sigh….We managed to navigate to the cache area and set about searching, but after 20 mins of bashing around the bushes and even extending the search area we were forced to leave with a DNF.
We headed off to the event but the GPSr’s maps did not have the new estate listed so resorted to the trusty iphone for directions. Once we arrived we made our way to the meeting area right under the limestone cliffs at the bottom of a manmade amphitheatre, a very spectacular setting. We greeted the event organisers, Jason & Janine and some other cachers, some we had met before and some new people. We chatted with our fellow cachers until the time came to do the prize draws, no luck for us this time, Lol.
After the prize draws we were free to go off and find the caches which had been placed out for the event . We had lots of fun finding these and kept bumping into other cachers as we wandered around. The Quarry Adventure Playground was a very popular place for families to come and picnic, who knows what the muggles were thinking about what we were all doing, or if they even noticed, LOL! The equipment was all very good quality and well constructed with lots of fun constructions for the kids to play on. While we were running around looking for the caches J&J were busy organizing a BBQ lunch for us all, so we stopped for a while for the kids to grab a sausage in some bread and a few home made cup cakes, an unexpected and very welcome treat.
We managed to find the three caches placed for the event, GC47KPA, GC47KGD, GC49MCE as well as another existing cache on site. After a bit more chatting with fellow cachers we decide to call it a day and head off. Overall the days event was fantastic fun for all and very well organized. Great job J&J!
On the way back we made a quick detour into the Rockingham beachfront area to find a few waymarks, the kids ran around and climbed all over the equipment and structures having lots of fun. Then it was time to head off back to the caravan for dinner.
In the afternoon, before it got dark I headed off for a walk in the nearby Dixon Road Conservation Precinct. There are some caches here by Luna Maya and I managed to find one of them, GX47NBY, before it got too dark. Overall and excellent day of fun caching!

Walked over after the event a quick find as there were several teams already at GZ. TFTH
I was at this park with my family this morning, I had already found this cache with my mum but I didn't have a caching account then... I went to show Dad where the cache was! TFTC Maddmum
Bagged this one on an afternoon run. Haven't seen any concerts here yet as we've only just moved back down from up North but looking forward to it if they start up again! Took TB.....T4TC Maddmum!!
Looking for somewhere to take the kids today, I chose this park... The kids loved it [^] And Master 4 found a cache too! He was most happy with himself We Spent a couple of hours here exploring and the kids run wild. TFTC Maddmum, great spot Cache is in good condition and dry.
What a beautiful spot! Was chased by mozzies the size of house cats but it was totally worth it! Thanks!
Went to the quarry park to have a fresh air then ask my kids If we could go geocaching. It is really hard to find but we found it TFTC
Well on my way home from work had a chance to do a little bit of hunting for caches loved the little park a lot of people hear today it's good to see some people take there kids out and use this lovely little park instead of siting in front of the Xbox, when I was a nipper I was always go and play outdoors so its good to see kids using the park loved the hide had to use stealth for this on so TFTC
Quick and easy find in a great park
Couldn't sign logbook due to being swarmed by Mosquitos.

Wow.... what can we say except the area was nothing like this the last time we lived down this way! This place looks very impressive and almost has us wishing we were living in Mandurah again. We really enjoyed cycling through the area and seeing all the new features.
thanks
thanks
great find with minibill6 was here for a tball windup an wondered if a cache was here were we in luck beautiful cliff view fantastic park
All round nice hide, loved the quarry, would not have known it was there . lovely Spring afternoon, trying to fit in a cache or 2 for 366 challenge. Took an interesting pendant with a lion on it, left a gold coin. SL TFTC Maddmum
We have never been here before but our favourite outdoor concert was Elton John at Highclere Castle, Newbury, Berkshire, England a good few years ago. TFTC.
A nice easy find for us. What a great place to visit and spend the day having a bbq. TFTH
Second cache for day... with Kekemo... easy find.. nice spot... cache log little damp... TFTF
Lovely day at the park with the geokids. Found with TIJCON & Sambj. Took cockroach and left crocodile stamp. TFTC
In the area today - sort of - while checking and replacing a muggled cache. Approach was attempted from the north - bad move - then from the west - further bad news. Finally made access from the south. My maps are too futuristic for my own good! First time in this new area and was most impressed. It was most popular today - Saturday afternoon - with young families everywhere and parking was at a premium. Had a good wander about and earmarked it as an excellent place to come back to with the ankle biters.
I have been to a few outdoor movie events, but never to any live outdoor concerts, so sadly have no memories to share.
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache Maddmum.

Last cache for the day. Accompanied with Mr FelixII, We enjoyed search and find and signed the log. Thanks Maddmum.
We needed 2 caches this morning to make the WWFMIX event our 700th find. This was the second for the morning but managed to take all the wrong roads to get here. Really nice park which we will have to return to explore fully.
Took the 2 TBs from the cache so created a bit more space and left one of our OZ Mega path tags.
Our last outdoor concert was John Williamson at the bowling club in Weipa NQ a favourite for us and the kids. John wrote a song about that trip to Weipa which subsequently appeared on his next album.
Thanks for the cache Maddmum [^]

So today Mr Felix left home and collected his passengers (with poor Mrs Felix at work ) and made his way to Mandurah for the Silver Flash.
So Mr Felix and Everlasting carried on caching after the 'Flash'.
Hmmm not sure what happened here, maybe Mr Felix and Everlasting were a bit worn out from there expedition on the deserted island. Seems to have been a bit of confusion over what size cache they were looking for!
Once all the options were checked out from Nano to X-Large the cache was soon in hand. lol.
TFTC Madmum, now to battle the traffic to Northern Waters as this was the last one after sunset, found by torchlight.
Swapped pathtags.
