OK so I'll admit it, I came here looking for a fight. I was going to take out the nasty vines, before they got me
They must have heard I was coming and I meant business, as it looks like they have gone into hiding. With that problem taken care of, we set about the search. Barb located the cache in good condition.

Apparently there are "Nasty vines" and it's "not a pleasant hunt"

Went straight to gz saw the perfect hidey hole but nothing there this one could do with a check not sure if it's been muggled
I parked near by and headed over. Nothing I could see so I headed off to the next cache. On my return I spotted several black and white markers but none led me to a cache. So I widened the seach area by a bit and found the cache neatly cornered.

Took the long way to get here from Resting Seat, but now have the prize. Once the muggle golfers had moved on, I grabbed the cache.
Took nothing, left bubble water. TFTC

Out for a ride along the Enogerra Bike Way out to The Gap and grabbed some caches along the way. Took a little bit to find this one. Didn't take the clue literally enough. Soon to hand once I did. Tftc
again struck with cache blindness almost decided to go home after this DNF
Out on my own today doing a few caches up the hill while I wait for my daughter to finish at WSSO. Easy find. TFTC

Found easily with hint, nice container, retrieved, signed and returned between the muggles with dogs passing. TFTC

Kids and I were hunting bikeway caches today. We dropped off Hank the Hampster TB who loves to see the cyclists wizzing past.
After finding the On Your Bike series we started on this one. Some golf putting muggles nearby were making it a little difficult but then we realised we were sending ourselves round the bend for nothing. An easy find once we got our act together. TFTC wingaap.
quick find, cheers
logged the 23rd on the log, was meant to be the 25th- not that it really matters

I'm an avid bike rider but didn't travel with a bike so today it was a massive walk for me. The "On Your Bike" caches took less time than I expected so I continued onto this section. Thanks for the cache wingaap.
Travelling from Brisbane to Ipswich, we found a variety of caches
which kept us well entertained.
Thanks, wingaap for the hunt.

Out and about on a day of caching with TriBre & BosNewellgus.
Went straight to the cache.
While getting back in the car a stray golf ball came flying across in front of the car and across the road. Brought back memories of my golf ability - or lack thereof.

I pull up fit near to GZ and jump out of the car and follow the GPS signal which I did not realise led me half around the golf course side and I start looking from the wrong angle, no one complained that I may be looking for golf balls so all was well.
I shifts are back around the correct area and made a find quick, was good to sit down for a moment while I filled things in and got the cache back in place without any eyes seeing what I was up to.

Wanting to attempt these caches in the right way, I hired a city Cycle in the CBD and headed out to Newmarket where this ride would start. There are a couple of large hills between the CBD and the start of the bike trail and those city cycles are at least 25kg! Anyway I was soon on the cycleway and enjoying the ride and caches.
Saddness as I completed what I think is the last in this series. Nice hide and Thanks Wingaap for this great series of caches along a beautiful cycleway. TFTC.

Found by dad. This was our third visit - first during full day light hours this time made things much easier.
Easy find we found the black and white marker then found it in like 5 seconds!
Quick find with Kaisho after Operation Surprise Wingaap....Take Two.
Thanks for the cache....WINGAAP!!!! Oh lookie there, just what we were on about. Cheers, svn07

99th to find! Out and about searching for some Ashgrovian caches and this one fit the bill. An easy enough find and no sign of the said cache guardians, (thankfully). tftc wingaap
The beautiful [pink]Nyssaflutterby [/pink]and I decided to come out caching this evening to complete The Gap Bikeway caches. This was our second last one of the night and we were so keen to find this one.
It was a bit frustrating with the ants around but with a bit of wiggling, we were able to get the cache out of its hidey hole

BEWARE THE ANTS! An army of little creatures dedicated to guarding this geocache. Had lots of fun looking around.
egginthesky and myself were coming to the end of our crazy bike riding night raid. We had just found our transport home but saw there was two more caches not too far away. There is always time for just one or two more caches So we pedaled past the Troopie and up the hill. At GZ we started hunting and it wasn't long until egginthesky had the cache spotted. With a little bit of a wiggle and a jiggle we freed the cache from it's hidey hole. Signed log and replaced as found.

I might go back to start and get my car and charge my phone. Then start again here. Yay
Was my first cache to find, so thank you! I look forward to finding many more.
The coordinates took me some eight metres away but there was nothing there. Them I read the hint and everything was clear.
A brand new log book to sign. Cool!
Thanks for the cache!

Geokid Madi spotted this one - nice and quiet afternoon, so plenty of time to spot the cache and very few Muggles to worry about! TFTC
MrsGreenGeckos and I got leave passes this afternoon to have a wander around some of the geocaches around my home. I have had these caches on my 'radar' since moving in here (at my father-in-law's) since March this year.
With my new get fit campaign finally allowing me the fitness to pedal great distances, this was one of our finds.
I always enjoy a Wingaap cache and this one was no exception. I wonder what an evil genius is lurking under all that hair...

Out with IolantheK again getting her cache of the day. I accompanied her to a couple of bush caches in area and went up the bike path so I could collect some more in the area [^]
Found GZ easily enough and fought the ants to extract the container (I won [^]). signed the log and moved on to the next one down the bike path
The cache is dry and in good condition.

This one could have been a little tricky if I did not read the hint. After a few minutes I came up with the goods. This is a great little bike path I have not been to before. Thanks for bring me here.
A parking spot right at GZ, how handy is that? We started walking in both directions from here.
A quick find to Bettyboo almost before we got out of the car.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 1098. Had been reading the hint in the car so jumped out as soon as we pulled up and wandered over to the corner. Mmmm where are the other parts of the clue? Realised where it was and made a nice quick find here. The last of the EBW for me - now onto the next series...TFTC
We left the car near here to do caches in both directions. This was the first cache we found en route to rock on. Just a lone cyclist using the path whilst we logged this one.

I have always found it hard to stop here when riding the bike to The Gap
Today was no exception, even with a cache to find [:o]
Something to do with gravity I suspect
After rolling a ways past the bend I had lost enough momentum to wobble back along the road to the twist in the trail
A car was parked at GZ
Closer inspection revealed it contained no muggles !
The cache was a delightfully easy find
I'll claim this as a birdie thank you [^]

Another fun day geocaching around Brisbane. Soon located this cache - last for the day. SL TFTC
This was nicely secured, safe and dry. Lots of golfers out today but who could blame them on such a sunny day. Thanks wingaap.
Swerved wildly around the golfing types en route to a very convenient parking spot; such fun! Well, okay, it was more of a sedate crawl, but that doesn't make as good a story. Found quickly enough with the wonderfully helpful hint, extraction took a bit longer. Nice hide, with a couple of interested ducks looking on. TFTC, wingaap. =^.^=
Found this cache easily when surprisingly we met La Kedi and The Marble, Nice to meet you. TFTC.
Ahh - onto the Wingaap part of the trail
I parked up at a very recognisable GZ. I am not sure if I have recovered from Y.A.B yet
After a bit of a fossick and a fumble, I soon had the cache in hand. It is in good condition. Thankfully no muggles about this morning. TFTC Mr Wingaap

Bedmaker and I decided it was time to get out the geo-cycles today and tackle these ones.
We were looking forward to this series and this was first on our list.

Arrived at GZ and searched for a while, checked the hint, then had the cache in hand! Oh look, that's a different container. Checked the cache page, Ah, I see I have entered the Wingaap stretch of the PT. This should be interesting!!
Thanks Wingers
Thanks Wingers
The hint was very clear and lead me straight to the cache despite coords a bit off under the tree cover. While I was signing the log, a car withempty trailer came past me, stopped, a man jumped off the passenger seat and ran to the trailer which had come off the hook, a women jumped out of the driver seat and ran to the trailer, and the car and trailer started to roll down backwards because she'd forgotten to fasten the hand break! He yelled at her, she jumped back into the car and stopped it. This could have gone seriously wrong!!! TFTC, wingaap! Lots of steps!!!
On my way in to 4RPH and I thought I'd stop and pick up one more of these bikeway caches. My iPhone didn't want to co-operate and had me in the wrong spot, but the hint soon made everything clear. A nice easy find, even though I had to wait for a bunch of golfers to pass by. TFTC, yet again, wingaap
Yet another one for big t this time no help from geodad but needed the hint - his a becoming a good cacher !! Little c on the other hand has his usual attitude because he can't find them Tftc
Our first for the day - starting with lots of energy ... Great container thanks wingaap 4TC:)
at 13:41. The last of that series. Now for lunch and a switch to Brother Colin.

My choice of area to clear today had me parking right beside this cache.
I actually had walked past it before I looked at the GPS and had to turn around.
Coordinates were spot on and so it was an easy find.
Not so the next few on the list. A bit of a climb ahead of me.
Thanks wingaap.

Off for a stroll along the bike path with Lucy, This one was a bit tricky at first but after looking in a likely spot, and another, looked sideways and there it was. Big enounh as well to hold the Geocoin we dropped off. Much avoidance of jogging and golfing muggles was required - a pram is great cover ! Thanks for the cache, Andrew , Maryan and baby Lucy
After completing brother Colin's part of the bikeway we were feeling a little sore and the sun was high in the sky - but we thought we would make a start on this section by wingaap. Grabbed the geocoin cache in good order
Thanks wingaap - great start to this section

TFTC . Have walked this track many times , great to see so many caches on my walks . Left TB ..Found this little fellow in Japan .. Help it on his way
Out to complete the series along this creek (on the bike naturally).
I knew where the cache was, I could even see part of the container but I was joined by a group of golfers sheltering from the rain. It seemed to take forever before they decided that venturing out into the tee was possible. Once they were there they soon lost interest in my presence.

After a small get together here in The Gap, Net88 and I decided to work our way through this trail before heading home. Drove up to this one and parked nearby. Some funny looks by some nearby golfers but they soon went back to putting and left us to hunt in peace. Net soon had the cache in hand and nice to see the special touch on the container, very apt. Signed log and replaced before heading off to grab the next. TFTC wingaap
Found this one whilst out caching with captain terror. I used the hint as my GPSr was playing silly buggers and didn't want to find me. The cache was in good position and done up very tight. So tight I needed the captain to open it for me. Thanks for the cache wingy
=) this is the turn back point I use when I normally ride this path, found GZ and a very well stashed away container, now onto BrotherColins series .... TFTC =)
