Another with one of those that could be a 3 difficulty, yet if your lucky a 1.5. Done a dusk, so quiet. TFTC
Found with icw. We've noted this cache every time we drove past and today we decided the stop and look for it. I can now appreciate why this has a 3.5 difficulty rating, but we prevailed after a short search. Tftc.
Looked in the GZ and couldn't find it. Spread out and still couldn't find it. Checked the logs and had another look and there it was. TFTC
Thanks gonefishen07 My second time here looking for this cache, this time I went straight to it. On my way to Foster and making a day of it out caching
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumalated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Fryer's day the eighteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Arrived here and the search began, no luck then all of a sudden found the nicely made cache hereTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
After a quick visit another day we returned with a bit of a clue to this cache and soon had the cache in hand.Geez this corner gets a lot of traffic passing by, managed to park fairly close and wandered off to GZ, had the dog with us for a reason to stop here, looks less dodgy to us.Thanks Brusue and Gonefishen for the cache.
Couldn't find where it was so i widen my search a little bit and quickly had the cache in hand. Gps was a tad off. Thanks for this great camo
This was a little tricky at first, I checked where the GPS was pointing too. No luck, so I stretched my search out a bit and checked the opposite side.had a quick look and I found the cache in no time! Tftc, really loved this one and the camouflage. Log signed and put back where I found it
Back today and remembered tweezers to access the log. Thanks for the smiley.
REDEMPTION! Finally found this little beauty! This was keeping me up at night. TFTC
Finally found our nemesis cache after previously logging a DNF and several searches between then and now. Today we just spotted it. How on earth did we miss that earlier?!
This one has been taunting us every time we drive past, so glad to finally have a smiley. Also replaced the wet log. TFTC!

Caching Gods were on my side today. Found in about 10 seconds. Log sheet was almost too wet to write on and is starting to fall apart so may require some CO maintenance. Photo taken of find should CO need proof of find. Tftc.
This was definitely a team effort here getting some logical ideas for what we are seeking I'm not sure how long it took to find this elusive cache but I think l raised my hand for a high 5 after spotting it, tiz 2 kashbound 3... thanks for the frustration and TFTC
Number 1 on Kashbounds redemption list for today. It took us a while to find this had to look at just the right angle, I had the right idea just not the right place.
Find 3035
Cycling today we rode up to this one .
No muggles around as it is a public holiday.
After searching for a good 15 min,I changed areas and straight away I was on to it.
The log sheet was pretty wet and full with no room to sign.
I have replaced the log sheet. Just hope it stays dry.
Thanks Gonefishen07

You’re on my arch enemies list now CO (jks we are all cool)
I’ve tried to find 4 of your hides and came up DNF every single time. Either I’m stupid and blind or you’re a genius. You’re killing me here! Adding to my DNF list!

Woop woop woop. My daughter had come down to celebrate my birthday with me and indulged me with some bike riding and geocaching. She was very amused that I couldn’t find this one on so many occasions as I showed her previous logs. The irony was I found today within 30 seconds - I swear it was not here on those other occasions! There is no way I would have missed this one. Tftc gonefishen07 and for patience when I asked for help on previous occasions. Phew
After a great day of caches we decided to do this one. With lots of dnfs we approached carefully and with Monica_is_evil we found. Simile all around. Thanks to the CO.
We were a bit sceptical of trying this one with so many DNFs… but once we got to GZ I spotted it almost immediately. It has definitely been a lucky day for finding caches with Diablo1234.
Take 2 or is that 3? Found something and got so excited but it was a gun. Nope, not the cache. Try, try, try again
Okay I wasn’t going to log this dnf… I wasn’t too invested in it. I was cold and needed the loo… and really another micro blah!
After a quick search The Welder and I went to drive off… but couldn’t…
Yeap we did what we shouldn’t have done
We parked on the nature strip…
Except… it wasn’t grass
It was mud, glorious mud
Actually it was bog! We were bogged!!
Back wheels in as far as the axel…
Despite our 4wd, we couldn’t get out!
How embarrassing!!
We like leaving out mark, leaving a pleasant log for the CO to find.. not THIS kind of mark!
Not anticipating this kind of adventure,
We left our max trax and snatch strap at home
Damn it!!
I hiked over the road to a nearby building site and found some wood to put under the tyres….but there wasn’t enough and we were completely stuck!
Damn it!
DAMN IT!
Thankfully a lovely P plater. A tradie with a Ute stopped and helped us.
I stopped the traffic by torch light
As the tradie and The Welder managed to get the bogged geo-mobile out…
But gee, wheels spinning, the tradie had a tough gig!
Finally we were out, with a bank of cars watching and cheering as we saved the geo-mobile from the swamp.
Who would have thought it was the P Plater rescuing the middle age couple!! Not the other way around. Young people today… gee!
All I can say, despite the embarrassment is how awesome are the locals here!
Will we be back?
Maybe after the skid marks have healed.
Thanks for the memorable experience

I remember all the unlove and DNFs that accrued on this cache some years ago, so while Heymissjo and I were in the area tonight I made us stop here to see what it was really like.
It was dark.
And we had other missions to get to.
So we didn't stay long.
I believe we know what we're looking for but we didn't have the time or patience to be so meticulous.
But at least I am prepared for my next visit.
Whenever that may be.
Thanks Gonefishen07

Ok, so 4th dnf for the day! just rode 22km so patience a little worn out. Be back soon. CO’s comment, “come on you guys, look harder” means I will be back soon. Traffic was also crazy and I didn’t want to look like a total nutter in the bushes
Missed this one first time around some time ago. Decided to take a walk to work off some Xmas pud. I don’t know how I missed this first time around having encountered a few of this type of hide before. Merry Christmas to all.
Passing through the area and found your cache along the way.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out & about with NGS who offered to take me out to the Killy Pub for tea. Lovely but smokey almost sunset & tea was had in the slightly cooler of outside. On our way back the sun dipped further through smoke/smog with wind towers in the foreground & NGS stopped for me to take photos. Fortunately for me it was only 30m from this cache so ... we just had to look. A quick find this time after a DNF a long-long time ago made me . Found, signed & returned as found. Thanks for the cache

Headed down to Wonthaggi with GurTheWanderer for some adventures.
Well after a few DNF’s of some difficult caches by this CO nearby, we were very excited to make a find here. Having seen this type of hide before, this one was very nicely placed.
So satisfying to hold the logbook in hand and sign our names.
We are still trying to make it into town to get some food as our stomachs as grumbling from no food all day, but the lure of finding another quick cache along the way is greater than the need to eat.
Thank you for the cache here Gonefishen07

Today I headed to Wonthaggi to attend the two events in town, I managed to convince My old caching Mate Trailrunning to come down for the day as he was so close to his 10,000 find, also teamed up with another great mate Omegaman1971, I had a great day finding caches and catching up with friends. had a lucky quick find on this one.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.
Earthbound Chief and micaparamedic were here when I arrived followed shortly after bu surefoot24. We searched the bushes, we searched the rocks, we picked up,sticks to no,avail. I collected a big bag of rubbish but the cache kept eluding us. Finally this sneaky cache was found and signed. Thanks for the challenge and the cache gonefishen07 A favourite point for this one
It was wonderful to be able to turn this face from blue into yellow . I’ve lost count of all the attempts I’ve tried it. There was a small group searching and I had rethought the situation after finding some more recent caches over Geelong way. A friend at an earlier event had confirmed my suspicion was right, so I went in investigating every object of a certain type with greater scrutiny than I had before. Somebody else employed the PAF tactic and uncovered it almost immediately! I had been right but hadn’t quite covered every object of that sort in the vicinity yet. Finally a yellow smiley face for me here!

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Gonefishen07,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. You would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what needs to be done.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) .
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

I'll admit I only spent 5 minutes here, but this location and no successful activity in 2 and a half years, not very hopeful that it is actually still there. Happy to be proven wrong

DNF. Foiled again !! I need to get my cache mojo back into sync. It's been a while between caches. Cheers.
Clearly this is a well hidden cache but with 21 months since its last sighting, I was left wondering if the cache is actually still there or if I had been looking in vain...
Thought I’d try this again as it’s a while since I’d done so. Light to medium rain didn’t help the expedition much and my walking pole, poking stick stick being stuck under heavy shopping in the back of the car didn’t help much at either. . Til next time.
Another day, another search armed with more hints, another DNF. I think this cache has broken me. I officially hate this corner!
Ya know what I hate? I hate bike riding! Ya know what else I hate? Wind. I hate wind! Oh and I also hate swooping magpies. Darn those protective warbling creatures!! And of course I really hate not being able to find a cache. That really pees me off.
But ya know what I hate even more than all of those things? I really really hate bike riding into a headwind while magpies swoop at you on the way to a cache that I can't find...on the second attempt....after the CO has already given me a hint.
Next time I come to this spot I WILL be dressed in a fluoro vest and a beanie, with a rubbish picker-upperer and a big garbage bag. I'd rather pose as a criminal on community service than be seen rummaging around in those bushes in my regular clothes ever again.
I'll be back.

Had a very good search. Confirmed we were in the right track but never located this one.
Jazzmo and I were not having much luck today so we were disappointed to come up empty handed here as well. We touched and turned over every moveable object that we could see but nothing looked to be concealing a cache. I'll keep an eye on this and see whether anyone else finds it
Took a few minutes to find as the garden had been freshly done, thanks for the cache
Had a look for this one a year or more ago when there was a lot more plant cover now that it's gone made it a easy find. Thanks Brusue ----- GF07 FTC.
Found after a massive day in the dunes.
A quick search spotted just what I thought it would be - and was! TFTC

Found this one today after the afternoon event. I walked along here with BorisB & Natarsha after the afternoon event deciding to collect this one. As we were halfway there they realised that Natarsha had previously done it. I had had a previous DNF attempt at this cache. Once we got there I got a slight hint from Natarsha when I missed the actual cache the first pass. Signed log and we talked a lot on the way back to the cars.
Thanks for the cache Gonefishen08.

TFTC. We had spent the morning readying the Motorhome for our Sunday departure to warmer climes. I was determined to get to 500 caches before we left, so this afternoon did a loop from Inverloch through Kongwak , Dalyston and Wonthaggi before heading to Inverloch.
Late in afternoon and school holidays, nobody about. Had this one in hand very quickly. SL.

After getting a well earned drink (stinking hot and windy today - and it wasn't alcoholic) I started heading towards home grabbing a few more caches and this one was next. Parked nearby and walked back to GZ where the cache was found after quick look and "how about there!" Thanks to brusue for the original cache and to gonefishen07 for taking it on.
Heading to the event in Wonthaggi, and picked up some caches along the highway.
Took us a while, to locate this well hidden cache.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Gonefishen07, for us and others to find.

A very quick find with no-one around. How come I was unsuccessful in the past? More experienced this time? Less pressure? Just happy to have another smiley. TFTC
Found @ 6:58pm, find # 3799
Tonight biggles1024 and myself headed for Wonthaggi to find a few caches as this area has many for us to find.
As this one had a string of DNF's it wasn't looking good but has there was a note from the CO and a find we stopped for a look. This happened to be a quick stop as it was only a short search before Mark had located the hide.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for placing this cache.

Find #1617
Tonight Stemicmitsar and I headed to Wonthaggi for a change of scenery. With a recent found log but many DNF's on this cache we weren't overly confident of finding it but it turned out to be one of the quickest finds of the night. It was just a matter of looking for something that didn't really fit in.

While a large proportion of the rest of the States and most of my family were watching the AFL grand final, I decided to do something I enjoy, as football is totally not my thing and I couldn't stand the stress of my family being stressed in case Hawthorn was losing.
I only have a few close to home left to do and as I had a DNF on my previous cache, I decided to have a go at this one. I parked in the car park and made a serious error in judgement by leaving my GPS in my bag and walked around the back and had to go across country to get back to where my GPS told me to go when I retrieved it from the bottom of my bag. It is quite wet and boggy in this area so I ended up with damp and muddy shoes. I headed for GZ and was pleased that the traffic was fairly light (probably in view of the fact that lots of people were glued to the TV). I had this one in hand very smartly, which made me feel so much better about my DNF on the previous cache.
It was getting on by this time, so I set off home for a much needed cuppa to find that it was almost 3/4 time, and the family weren't stressed at all as the Hawks were well ahead at that stage.
Let's hope they end up happy at the end of the 4th quarter.

EPIC FAIL!!
2nd DNF in a row, we aren't off to go a good start at all!
Met another cacher here at this one and it was very nice to meet you Joan
So even with 6 sets of eyes we couldn't find it
No doubt we will be back and hopefully we'll have better luck next time!

After two attempts and armed with a hint from Highrod, still NOTHING! On second visit crossed paths with Skullracing and Coruze, but with 4 pairs of eyes and the hint, still unfound!
We came, we tried, we failed . We were at GZ when we met GenieJoan who joined us for the search. We thought we knew what we were looking for but with the amount of rain from the previous day we were looking a little more like drowned rats & with no gloves we were having a tentative prod & poke. Decided to leave this for another (dryer) time - thanks anyway Gonefishen07. Our 2nd cache AND DNF for the day - bummer
