As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Had a quick look while out for other caches.... still no sign of it and it's been quite a while since the "Needs Maintenance" log.... time to archive?!?
Had a seriously good look under both ends and as far into the centre as possible, with no luck.
Then finding a difficult cache nearby gave us a renewed enthusiasm to come back for another go.
Searched harder and included the surrounding area as well - still no luck.
We suspect this cache needs to be checked after so many DNFs.

Searched around the GZ without success in locating the cache. Heaps of leaves around. Looks from past logs like this was quite hard to find so decided to leave it for now.
Searched both ends before catching a glimpse in my peripheral vision, just slightly tricky.

Although the coordinates took us to a suitable structure, we weren’t able to find a cache at either end. We were muggled by a woman who asked if we were caching and said her son had placed a cache where we were searching. We found a munzee and a set of coordinates.
Nice quick find, enjoyable walk in the area to collect this cache with tmann421 TFTC
TuisReturn & I had a nice time in Kawerau looking for caches. Soon located this one. SL TFTC
11.35AM - Had to dodge the muggles, once all claear, quick find. Took TB. SLTFTC
Walked in with the sidekick. The park was busy with people enjoying the nice spring weather. After a brief search, found the 'replacement' cache. Took a few photos of the dog to create a visual diversion. TFTC.
Change of scenery... Out in the Eastern Bay. Had a mixed result this afternoon. A bit disappointing to log a few DNFs on this adventure.
I assume the cache is below the structure. Had an audience of three as I searched for this. Tried to extend my body to reach as far into the depths as I could manage... They just don't make these things for the full-figured geocacher. My audience asked what I was up to, and I told them I was looking for a Munzee, which they found.
Anyway, can someone check on this to see if it is still active. Thanks.

Last find on our Kawerau visit. What a great park with the trees in all their autumn glory TFTC.
In Kawerau for an event. What a lovely spot. Really enjoyed our stroll around here. Left one of our new pathtags. SL. TFTC.
A very English feel about this park particularly at this time of year with all the leaves dropping.
Many thanks

Beautiful spot especially with all the leaves - nice and quiet here today - log book shows cachers in town for an event TFTC

We have always enjoyed walking in this park, it is lovely. The cache was quickly located and returned as quickly - kept looking around for muggles who are normally plentiful around here. Ended up having to run back to the van as the dogs had managed to set the alarm off, although no-one seemed to notice! TFTC

Found it (with Dad, from 'Dominic-Aidan)! Great wee walk along the stream, then just had to bend the knees, arch the neck and stretch my hand in to the cobwebby dark. Maybe I was the FTF.
Found with the boy from the Pilbara!!! [^] [^]
We allowed him the FTF seeing he had come so far to find it --- 2nd to Find to us
Thank you for the cache h32

Ah, found it at last! (Murray found it) It's a great hide, thank you, h32. Is Denzel a dog? There were some border collies enjoying that part of the park today too...but they didn't see us at the GZ
All we could find was a Munzee label. Was there more to find?
Enjoyed our walk in this lovely park though.
