We have set off on our annual winter escape but with no real plans other than a set of ideas.Our first stop is Bendigo, a place we haven't visited for any length of time in the past. There appears to be much to see and a good variety of caches to keep us entertained.We met up with our caching buddies Rebel Acts and Omegaman for a few days as well which added to the laughs and fun.Caches logged as RASPOM or SKI Pair if they had already found them.This is one of the caches we have found to date.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache tigersden.**SKI Pair****

I am hitting the road again with my Rebel Acts and Ski pair to have some fun and explore new places. While I don't mind caching locally, there is nothing like a road trip for a few days putting smiles on the map. I had a great time with lots of laughter and caching fun. Thanks for the cache. I had my 2 grand daughters with me and the loved looking for it and finding treasures. Have now found 2/7. I will have to take them out another day to find the rest.

I think we now have 4 clues and it has only taken about the same amount of years. Thanks for this cache and we are hoping to complete this series before it no longer exists.

I haven’t spent much time caching in Bendigo, so with a couple of events on for the weekend I decided to team up with OzHockeyChick for some caching adventures. After swagging it overnight, it was a day of tree planting and caching before heading home.

A quick stop off here as we performed a u turn to continue a multi trail.

19th / 20th November 2022 – GC8EW40 – Whittlesea – Victoria

After attending a Morning Tea Geocaching event nearby, catnap777 and I made our way out this was for a couple of caches and and managed to grab this one as reward for successfully crossing the road.
Seriously, all we wanted to do was cross the freeway from the railway side and head back towards Bendigo, but the traffic was insane and we thought it prudent to cross first ,do a U-ey and turn left back onto the freeway.
Our safety first approach rewarded us with nice easy P&G that we otherwise surely would have missed.
Cache and contents in good condition.

dalerious and I were in Bendigo for the weekend doing the caching and event thing. We were heading from completing one cache to another which brought us to a very busy intersection. We wanted to turn right and head back into Bendigo, but the traffic was relentless. I asked dalerious, is there any caches on that road? It sure was easier just cutting across, signing this log, then turning left to head back into town. I wonder how many people have done just that for the same reason . Thank you tigersden.

What a busy day. First up we dropped Mr Tyred n Cranky off at the Harcourt Footy Ground, then Mrs Tyred n Cranky together with FUF009 went into Castlemaine Op Shopping and looking around.

On our way back to Harcourt we found a couple of caches along the way, then done the Adventure Lab in Harcourt. It was then time to pick up Mr Tyred n Cranky from the footy.

Before leaving we had a long earned cuppa and eats then we headed for home up the highway and into Belvoir Park Road to grab the three caches along there and then it was homeward bound we went.

A quick find here just on darkness.

On way to Bendigo for the weekend and finding your cache tigersden, thank you so much for placing it.

Heading North West ish for a weeks break and I don’t usually come this far up towards Bendigo as I have normally turned off and kept following the Calder Hwy.
I noticed that if I keep following this road I make it back to where I need to be to continue on.
I have found one or 2 of this SBWT series before so another one to add to my tally.
If I had a bit more time today I would have called in to the winery to check out their reds and maybe pick up a bottle or two.
Soon located the cache and added my name to the log.

On my way to Bendigo for an overnight non geocaching trip, I had time to stop for just one cache. This was the perfect option, on side road just off the freeway. A nice quick find while grabbing the info too. Thanks tigersden.

I started today fairly seedy. I had enjoyed some port around my campfire the previous night and not got going as early as I had hoped. But I had decided to just amble along.

after tytaylor19 and i had a wonderful day at oak forest and mt alexander for the first time in ages since before covid. we decided to stop for this cache on the way home. nice quick easy find and suprised we hadnt stopped to look for this one earlier

It was good to be able to find some caches along the route we were travelling today with ilook4geo. This was a good cache and once it was retrieved, the log soon had two more names added to the list before all was replaced in the container, which was carefully put back into place. Thank you to tigersden for this cache placement.

Travelling the highways today with goingplaces2 and doing a few caches along the way. Nicely hidden cache here, with no muggles around to spoil the hunt. TFTC.

It has been a while since Neville_devil, AusFox; and myself have been out for a big caching trip but today was the day that would change as we headed up the Calder for some caching in the Bendigo direction.
No wine for us today just a quick stop for the cache and back to the freeway again.

It had been a while since the our last caching trip, so Simsfamily, Neville Devil and I headed up to Bendigo to tick a few boxes and visit new locations.
