### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there tigersden,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

A fair way from the GPS marker … cache needs some maintenance …. Container has water in it
Found some tell tale signs of what appeared to be a damaged cache so looked around gz for a bit until found.
Cache is 13 metres from gps marker, clips and broken stump at go’s location. Tftc!
Found some container clips at gz....found the cache about 18 metres away. Not sure if it has been moved as gz had a broken up tree stump. TFTC
Took us awhile to find due to GPS jumping around so much. Only found by accident really on our way back to car. Found uncovered in hiding hole.

Easy find. Container broken. Zip lock bag broken. Log book moldy we could not log our find in book.
A nice easy find. Such a beautiful area. The container had broken and all contents including log were wet.
We found the cache absolutely sodden and quite smelly. Lucky for us, we found the clue as we were worried it was going to be in the log which we couldn't open. Hoping to get some more in this series whilst we are up here but not sure that we will have the time. Thanks for the cache.

The first of this series for us. Don’t think we will get the whole lot this trip, but noted the clue anyway.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, tigersden

Found this cache at 4:18pm. This was a quick park and grab cache. The coordinations were spot on. My geo daughter picked out a necklace and we left a clapping hand toy. TFTC
Found while out with my mate Bobsmum. A quick find. TNLNSL TFTC tigersden

It’s great to be back in the rugged Bendigo hills with lots of good places to hide caches. This location is no exception. Being early Spring means it’s a bit greener than in Summer. I found the cache thanks to accurate coordinates, despite the tree and cloud cover. Admittedly, I first checked out a spot I’d think of placing a cache and obviously the CO thought in a similar way to me.

Suscoe enjoyed a delightful day today wandering around the Bendigo region.
It was a sunny day again and with the temperature reaching 30 degrees it was a beaut day.
We found a range of caches from bushland to farmland and city locations.
We always love this area and today was no exception.
Thanks to tigersden for this hide, another winery ticked off the list.
Busy here today.

Oh dear, the cache has been saturated.
We have dried out what we could but the log book is soaked and it stinks, will become mouldy and has been eaten by slugs and nails.
The snap lock bag has a hole which doesn't help.
We have dried out as best we could but this cache badly needs maintenance.
One of the lid clips is broken and the lid was ajar when we arrived.
Hopefully this will do for the moment.
After rearranging the contents we snuggly replaced the lid.
