Experienced visitors have concluded this cache has been interfered with following closely on the tails of other removed caches archived in the reserve this season. For over ten years, this cache had had a good life with reputable locals maintaining the cache over previous years before John passed away.
Nice little walk and a quick straightforward find, even though I approached it in a roundabout way... TFTC!!
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at the NZMCA Invercargill campsite for a couple of days, exploring in & around the area … we went for a bit of a drive this afternoon & thought it would be rude not to check this cache out … found with no issues, log completed & cache returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,197 for us.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on our first full day in Invercargill. We had come to this lovely (and busy) bush reserve to do an Ad Lab waypoint, so thought we might as well complete the circuit as well.
After the frustrating search at the previous cache on the circuit, we were relieved to have an easy find here. TFTC.

No trouble finding this one with the hint helping. Thanks for placing it pipedream.
A nice quick find thanks. It is starting to darken up nicely now. Glad I brought along the torch.
Ms_KR and I are on the road to Southland to finish off the Southern PW GeoTour. Today we cruised around Invercargill. The place has changed a bit since we used to live there in the 80's, but then again it is still recognisable.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

It took me 10 m when I left this junction to find it I was heading down the wrong track. That was quickly corrected. Having a short trip from Invercargill to Christchurch with Infoferret finding lots of caches, in particular the TMGT caches for me.
The cache may be signed with our individual names or ‘IE’.
Many TFTC.

I couldn't find this back in October 2012 so its been a while since my last visit. Easy find today so not sure if its been moved or if I just wasn't thinking right back then. TFTC # 16,352
Another snag and tag along this great bush walk. Cheers.
Tuesday 27 October. Checking out Invercargill again today. Lets go Toby!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Taught the kids how to look for things out of place because both of them looked directly at the hiding place without noticing

A quick evening jaunt around Seaward Bush Reserve grabbing a few traditional before it got dark. Third of four. Thanks for the cache.
Together with TEMBO! I had a really interesting geocaching-trip today. We could find some geocaches, met some locals and had a great talk to them.
Concerning this geocache I want to say thanks because we had much fun in searching and finding this geocache! The cache made our trip even more interesting!

Thanks which way should we go. A break between soccer games so a drive over here to find some cache and complete a walk. Do we have time to go the longer way. Yes I think so.
Head on a swivel as you need to look 3 ways and not 2 for other users TFTC MATM
Today me and the boys headed off to find the caches we left behind the previous time we visited the bush. Previous time we did not had cellphone reception, but fortunately today we came prepared. The cache took us a while to locate as the GPS was jumping around all over the place. Thank you for placing this cache.
Hurray! Searching unsuccessfully for many caches tonight and this was so good to finally find. Thanks.
Yeahhh a find! Co'od spot on. Cache in good nick, added extra bag. Didn't have my pipedream glasses on though, I'll be back lol.
Some great hides through here thanks so much took us a bit to find it almost got muggled just as we were on it but stepped aside waited a minute so we could log tftc:)
In town for an appointment, so grabbing a few more caches on the way to 2000 by the end of the year.
Not what I was looking for, but got there in the end one I stopped focusing on one aspect.
Sign has been uprooted, but the original hole is still there.
Thanks for the smilie.

After a few days of very intense work activities, I had one last full day free in Invercargill before I head back home to Nelson tomorrow. I headed off early for a full day out caching to see how many caches I could find. The weather was threatening but apart from a cold wind and occasional drizzle it really wasn't too bad. This one took longer to find than it should have done but I get it in the end. TFTC, Biggles.
Great hideing spot nice to find on a rainy day found with lovehart900/annieLin/abbykitttftc
Found it! No pencil so we're unable to log but another fantastic cache thank you .
On my way from Invercargill to Kaka Point, I wanted to find some caches. This was the third one, to stretch my legs before going anywhere. First to write in the new log book! Thanks for hiding!
Furthermost cache away from the rest and an easy find. I SL but the log book could do with a drying out even with all the protection it has. TFTC
Found it right quick on the second try. Container was not closed securely, and contents are very damp. Could use a bit of rehab. TFTC
After 2 DNFs, we quickly found this I've to make us feel better. Thanks for the cache and the walk.
It was nice to walk around here and find a couple of caches on such a sunny day. TFTC
Always a lovely spot. It's one of those places I'd like to come more often. TFTC
