Looked around the possible hiding spots. definitely not where previous photos have suggested
Out and about scouting coords for new GZ's , so GeoSon #1 and myself decided to tick off this and another local trad whilst we were here. Cheers to domsky for adding a replacement log. The original is well and truly falling to bits in the damp and mould. Suggestion to future finders to ensure that the log's bag is properly sealed, otherwise this one won't last either. TFTC
Found today with my Dad and TeamBarritts during our trip to Brisbane...

Find #2621
We ducked out for a handful of caches before our families' late Christmas lunch, with the excuse of needing to buy drinks of course.... What a nice spot they've built in here, I'd never been down here before either - we're bringing the kids back for a swim later in the week now. TeamBarritts found this as I climbed up too high... TFTC

Final find for today. Thought we might tick off a trip to the park with the geokids and a bit of geocaching in one visit. Had to choose our time wisely to find this in between all the muggles walking past, but eventually did so and located without too much problem. Then it was off to enjoy the wonderful facilities nearby. TFTC!
We have really enjoyed walking and driving through this beautiful part of Brisbane today.
We love the green belts that surround the river areas.
Today at GZ, it was a quick find, although we knew from previous logs that the container and book were probably very wet. Yes this is the case, however we had a spare plastic bag and a new logbook and have added this to the container for the CO. By the way, the clue is still there, so we collected this in case we find more of this series.
Thanks
Domsky

Thanks for bringing us to this lovely park - really an awesome area.
Found cache easily, but no there was no Homer and unfortunately I didn't grab the clue. The log is soaked - the bag is certainly blocking moisture - but keeping it inside!!!
Log book needs a good drying session or replacing!
TFTC.

Found it. Great hide.
Note: the case has extensive water damage. The book looks wrecked, the cards have been destroyed.

Couldn't find this one after a good look around. Maybe I didn't climb high enough!
Came here for a morning walk, what an amazing park! Definitely one to revisit. Brought along a caching buddy, she's definitely getting into it took the travel bug, signed log. TFTC!
TFTC. Ground was still a bit damp from yesterday's rain, however it was still a fairly easy reach.
6 us old had not troubles with terrain.
Easy find with spot on coordinates.

Out and about on this overcast Mothers Day with the boys in tow.
Despite the weather the park was still busy, but a part from some scooter action nearby we were free to search!!
With a great clue, and spot on coords it wasn't long before homer was nabbed. Clue noted.

Called past this for the cords for the last one and found the cache all over the place grabbed everything placed back in the cache log book fine and placed it back where we found it 2 years ago
Quick find. Bit wet, not surprisingly after all the recent rains. With twinm from Canada. First time at this park. Plan was to head to Tamborine but scuttled by bridge out--thanks Debbie.
Pretty easy find. I emptied water out of the cache. The log book was dry. Beautiful park! TFTC
Thanks, kids had fun finding this. Paperwork dry in its zip bag, toys/cards a bit wet. Jfart16

I came here to grab the GCA movable and this cache was only a few metres away.
Just as I arrived at GZ, the rain started but under the cover of the trees, I was able to stay dry while I searched. I was looking for the movable when I found this one.
There were two geocoins and two travel bugs inside. I took all of them to take to the Oz Mega next month. I didn't realise there was a clue in here for a final so I may need to return.

Had some time to do some caching and this one not far from my daughters house. Parked close and walked towards the hill. Disturbed some bush turkeys that were scratching around. Good co ordinates. Learnt along time ago to walk slowly take a rest then let the GPSr catchup when caching in tree cover. Relatively quick find and well covered. Entered my name in the log book and discovered two trackables. I could not see some super Help trackable, Left two trackables. Replaced as found and recovered well. The bush turkeys scratch around this hide. All good. TFTC Whint & Bad Dal.
Dropped off two geocoins - " Flash Mob XII Geocoin" and " Geocoin Club November 2015 - Night Hunters Geocoin" Bon Voyage!!
Out finding a few caches with Mr RoddyC, Nikid1 and KerriMG. The girls had left for school pick up, but I wanted to find this one. Mr RoddyC accompanied me. My phone was a bit out, but Mr RoddyC spotted the cache sitting out in the open. I signed the log and returned the cache to where it was found, adding some natural camouflage to hide it from muggle eyes. TFTC
Out nice and early this morning on the geocycle.
There were a few cars in the parking area, but not many. One lone dog walker in front of me on the path near GZ, but heading away.
A nice quick find here. A scrub turkey kicked the cache at me as I headed towards GZ. Not sure exactly where he found the cache, but I re-hid it in a fairly sensible spot that looked good. [8)]

TFTC we had a lovely little adventure to get to it. Mr 5 took finders honours. Popped in some kiddy swaps. Best part were the lovely Tawny Frogmouth cache guardians watching!

Never been to this end of the park. How the hell did the car end up at that spot? TFTC
Found it! I cannot count the number of times I've been to Rocks Riverside Park with our family and for friend's birthday parties. Never have I noticed this rusty car let alone known there was a cache here! No TB though - who has taken it since August & not said online that they have the trackable?!TFTC
Heading to Springfield today for some caching & this was our second stop of the day. Met up with RoddyC here, timed our run perfectly & arrived pretty much at the same time. This is another lovely park that I've never been to before. It did leave us wondering how a rusty car ended up on the side of the slope though.
My gps was jumping all over the place here & the 3 of us headed to different spots but Nikid1 made the find fairly quickly. Clue noted, log signed & cache replaced as found.
TFTC Whint & Bad Dal & another lovely park

Out for a day of GCing with RoddyC and KerriMG.
Meet up with RoddyC as Kerri and I were wondering how a car ended up here at the bottom of a cliff.
Made a fairly quick find here, clue noted and log signed. Thanks Whint & Bad Dal.

Our first geocaching day for quite a while - time to get back out there today, and in the company of Nikid1 and KerriMG.
One item of the agenda was to complete the "Homer Series" so we met up here and Nikid1 soon found the cache and the relevant clue was noted.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 9.35am on 20th October, 2016. TFTC

Such a lovely park. Thanks for bringing us here while we were trying to kill some time before lunch.
Introducing niece and nephews to caching, geokid11 found the cache quickly! Tftc!
After a DNF at a nearby cache I came to this one. My compass was a bit out on the app but thanks to the description I had a fair idea where to go. Arrived at GZ quickly and not long before I spotted a familiar site. TFTC, signed and returned. Didn't spot the TB in the cache.
Just got back into Geocaching today after a long break. Enjoyed the little climb. May or may not have dropped everything on the ground-- picked it all back up though!
Well Thursday has rolled around again which means that Mrs Just a Trifle is out and about again with the lovely ladies barbbowman and Raynersinoz. After finding the last of the haystack caches to collect clues for The Beadle's Needle, we headed off to the Rocks Riverside Park for lunch. Mrs Just a Trifle was spoilt for her birthday with some wonderful cupcakes courtesy of Raynersinoz ... yum!
Once we were all full, we noticed that there was another 'Homer' cache nearby, so we just had to make sure we looked for it to collect yet another clue for the 'Homer' series ... looks like we will be looking for a few more. We located the cache easily and with the clue recorded, we headed off for another nearby cache.
Thank you Whint & Bad Dal for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy.

Another Thursday is here...which means caching with the lovely barbb and Mrs JAT. We were in the area today, so we stopped at Rocks Riverside Park for lunch - and to celebrate Mrs JAT's birthday with cupcakes. I was excited to see another 'Homer' series cache nearby, as we had picked up Homer and the Spaceman last week (looks like we are on the hunt for another series ), so we made a beeline for this one after we had had lunch. Oh so many places to look ...but here it is! We found superman, but no Homer, DOH! TFTC Whint & Bad Dal, looking forward to finding the rest of the Homers
Good hind. Remember people to close and lock the lid before moving to your next one.
After a big play in the nearby park we saw this cache was only 20m away on our walk back to the car. TFTC
Unfortunately did not find. Found an excellent hiding space and container but alas no cache
Love this park, good spot to explore on Easter Sunday. What's with the car wreck? TFTC
