We spent quite some time here today. without success.
This cache hasn't been found for quite some time and the CO hasn't accessed the Groundspeak site since 13 February 2014, so we figure they aren't active any longer.
Could a reviewer please temporarily disable the cache pending a response from the cache owner?

Found the cut holding device which suggests it has been muggled. Went to log this one and saw needs maintenance has been logged.
IF this is where it was attached, then I don't think it lasted the cyclone. If not, we just gave up. Bummer.
Found it without too much difficulty. Putting it back in place was another story entirely. Bringing a tall friend would have helped.
Found it found it found it!!!!!!!!! We found it!!!!!!!! I think we had 5 DNF's! And after seeing yesterday's find we came back a little more determined and there it was! As plain as day! We had been to the wrong tree every single time!!!! And when we finally found it I was pen less so no sign! Rookie mistake!
A resonably quick find with the good coords, choose the wrong place originaly but a quick look at my phone said i was not close enough. Came to hand quick enough but the challange was to replace. TFTC my 1st 4 1/2 so another d/t spot filled.
Took advice from Pilkojr and used a small stool to gather this one. Be gentle collecting this one so as to not damage the tree. SL and replaced the cache as I found it.

What an excellent and tricky hide.
Best I've seen so far from 11 finds.
Remember to screw, don't pull!
Bring a small step stool for those under 6ft tall.

Our misery was that we looked at the wrong trees, leaving this one to last. At this time of the year the cache should really have stood out to us as well so should really have been a very quick find.
The terrain rating may have to climb a bit soon as well for the vertically challenged.

What is it with the GPS at this location. Just didn't want to track movement. Hopefully this tree doesn't grow taller. Nice hide. Five unusual caches so far today. Excellent stuff.
Arrived at the GZ, I quickly commenced my search. GPS initially took me to the wrong tree. After no luck there, I moved on to the next closest tree and spotted something unusual immediately. It took a little physical exercise to grab the cache, but soon had the log signed and returned. Muggle free area today, otherwise one would feel rather exposed trying to find and extract this cache. TFTC Psilonike. SL {#329}.
Woo hoo found this one easy, however getting to it was a different story... great hide.
North Qld 2013. Day 8 was Charters Towers to Townsville. It looks like people are finding this one but it beat me. I hope I get the chance to go back one day. Thanks.

A very devious hide - well done. Our GPS was taking us to a spot midway between 3 suitable hiding spots. A lengthy search produced nothing and we were just about to give up when we decided to try our other GPS which actually locked us onto one of them. Still didn't have any luck but then we both spotted the clever hide at the same time. Mr Beetle did the retrieving and replacing. Thanks, it's always good to get the hard ones and we weren't really expecting much success here first time after reading previous logs.
Woke up this morning to the sound of rain on the roof. So we thought maybe a day off - not !
We saw pprass off as they were heading south today, then we wondered down to the shops.
When the rain eased, we headed out to find a couple of caches.
Very skilled and imaginative hide. After scanning the points of interest for awhile, it was spotted.
Worth a favorite point from us.
Thanks for the cache, Psilonike.

Back, with geoP as a second set of eyes, to have another go. GeoP checked the same places before widening the net and a "Found It" sone followed to signal success.

GeoD was nearby getting new shoes fitted to the gCAV so decided to walk up and have a look for this one.
No luck today and it was soon time to move on.

Second visit to this one. After reading the logs. I still had to look closely. Great Hide. TFTC
Came and had a look at this GZ on my way to another event. Didnt spend a whole lot of time here, but will come back and have another go.
Mr Garmin and the various Navstars, including the Russian ones, were playing havoc with me today. GZ was, naturally, between two trees. I started on one tree, thoroughly patting it down before moving to the other.
Back and forth I went between the two trees. Some muggles across the road were playing basketball in the shade, just out of view. Then I spotted the little bugger. Terrified I would get sprung by the dribbling muggles, I rushed I get it in my hand using whatever was available to help. Retrieval turned out to be easier than replacement.
Given my antics, I'd reckon the listed terrain rating could be a little low. TFTC Psilonike. An evil hide. Favourite point coming your way.

Yaaay said the Reluctant Companion as he located the cache almost immediately. He's handy for the hard ones!! TNLN TFTC
OK OK I cheated to get this one. A fellow Townsville cacher was sick of me complaining about how I was finding this to be so hard. They pretty much told me where it was. So today was the day and yep after 30 attempts on this one I have finally got you. I feel guilty as I didn't find it fair and square but it was my nemesis cache so I can live with it.
Very Very cool cache that gets a favourite point from me. Can't wait to get another nemesis cache from the same CO.

Dipped a heap of TB's

The cache was spotted soon after arriving but that was only the start! We had that log book in hand and signed shortly afterwards. Without giving anything away, you would have been proud of our effort . As we were returning it, a learner driver pulled up nearby. I'm sure they were completely baffled by our antics - they should be focussing on the road anyway [:(!]. Thanks Psilonike
After seeing the star rating and reading the logs before arriving I was worried this wud be a waste of time. I arrived at dawn and had the cache in hand less than a minute later after searching the wrong spot first. This camo is always a teaser and I am glad for a quick find and another cache for my D/T chart, thanks
For the life of me this is proving difficult! Still no luck! I know I'm probably looking right at it too! Grrrrrrrr!!!
So... This had us stumped for the good part of 40 mins..
Gps is correct, and yes that tree actually is gz!
Found once looked from a distance and pondered? What is that?
Tfth! Great Cam job!

In Townsville for the long weekend and had visited this hide the day before but was muggled out by residents across the road. Came back today to endure significant torture as I checked out the obvious tree. Was getting a sore neck so I expanded my search and there it was. A very painful hide but fun all the same. SL, TNLN, TFTC
tftc well done on this one love your idea well done big pat on your back for that hide... lol
Found on a quick trip around the area to fill in some time.
Nice hide and had to phone a friend for a reality check & then it appeared. TFTC,

Came back today to try my luck again at this one and today I found it within minutes! Very well hidden TFTC!
This was a difficult cache to find for me, I looked all over and tried not to look like a total weirdo whilst walking in circles. A poor little curlew was a bit frightened by my presence there so I didn't look very closely at his tree... hope that's not where the cache is. Will definitely be back to beat this one. Thanks for the hunt

After my DNF yesterday I thought I'd better have another try and this time I managed to look from the right angle and BINGO!
Another hole in project 81 filled.
Thanks for an excellent hunt

No joy today the GPS placed me in the centre of 3 trees of various sizes, none of which I could find a cache on.

Was thinking we would struggle with this one after reading previous logs but a quick find today sl tnln tftc!
After carefully reading other logs and using our collective skills we finally got this one.
Nice hide.

Okay I'll come clean. Each visit to Townsville I would land, grab my lunch and eat it while looking around the "misery tree(s)" and then leave. So I've been here a few times but didn't search that long each time. I was rather stumped by this but today finally broke through. I was at the wrong tree.
You can see there has been a lot of searching at the wrong tree too.
Anyway, cross it off!
Thanks.

Had a quick look here but fel very exposed. I have my suspicions but may need a little help.
How lucky I was to be together with Wazza & Kara joining them in "operation 500". I am sure I wouldn't have found it on my own.

We made an earlier attempt to locate this cache today, but with time ticking by we decided to move on and revisit later.
At almost 10pm the time was now right, as long as we didn't make too much noise.
We had searched one possible site earlier, so we diverted our attention to another. With three of us looking it was Mrs Wazza&Kara that noticed something 'not quite right'. With further examination, the cache was located.
A well camoflagued hide which did take a lot to identify. It also took a bit of effort to return it in one piece, but that another story.

Cat and Bear were in this area when we decided to grab this cache. We looked at a certain tree but no joy looked at other trees no luck either. Pulled out the Garmin GPS and it directed me to the original tree. After searching for a while finally found the prize Bear had to grab this one. Nice hide, not easy to spot but very nice TFTC.
Geo-wife was very excited about this one as it was just across the road from where she used to live! Awesome hide! Never seen one like that before! Geo-bro-in-law actually spotted it and now has the caching bug! TFTC!
Very clever. The hardest part was watching out for muggles - they are doing some work at the Athletics Club so had to make sure they were not watching me. TFTC
#94 Despite the heavy rain, we decided to grab this quickly on the way home. We were already soaked afterall.
This was not the second time we have had a quick look, but this time the gps was directing us to a different tree, which resulted in a quick find of a very sneaky cache. Monkeys struggle due to the location, so Champs plucked this one off for them.
Considering a name chage to "Second to Summer'skoby".... What do you think?
