My gps kept playing up on me so I searched every where by the sign and up amongst the sign under rocks but still could not find I am wanting to return to log it in if it is there
Came over to try and get the FTF on Jess88 new caches as no one had found them only to find you had beaten me to them and logged them as I was at GZ. Anyway I needed to get back to Rotorua to get kids from school so only had time for one so thought this would be a nice easy find but no I was out of the car with my hiviz on so I didn't look out of place with all the cars and trucks going past. I had a good look for ten minutes but then had to leave.
Any congrats on your FTF I'll have to come back to Kawerau another day quite a few caches I need to get over here.

Came here about 20 years ago, went horse riding & stayed the weekend. No horsing around today just a quick find on the way past. TFTC
[green] Home for Christmas. Well, sort of. Home is actually Palmerston North, the rest of the family are in Rotorua, and now I am off to Opotiki with mum to catch up with the rest of the family who left for the beach a few days ago. I haven't swum in the ocean for years!! So mum and I are are caching our way to the beach.
This was a ridiculously easy find - it was sitting out in the open. I put it back in its hidey hole and put a rock in front.

I passed through Kawerau on my trip to CANZ B of P, after visiting the East Cape caches - epic long weekend trip.
Stopped to find and log this cache on my way out again. Thanks for placing this, Dominic-Aidan.

A quick find on our way to rotorua.muggles were wanting to go in the driveway. Tftc
Thank you for your welcome, but in fact we are on our way home to Tauranga. We have heard of Tui Glen we think, possibly in a horsey magazine. TFTC

Quick stop. Nice easy find. Used to come here regularly as a kid
Picked up TB

Off to the general direction of Whakatane for some caches, decided to grab a few caches on the Kawerau detour. TFTC
Had to wait for a chap in a van to finish his phone call before nipping out to pick this one up. TFTC
Our second day out with the betterbax team today. Pulled up and had three people diving out of the car scrambling to be the first to the cache. By the time I, the driver, got to GZ the cache was already in hand. Maybe kiddy-locks on the car might give me a better chance. Thanks.

This cache was found as part of my epic as move down south to Christchurch from Auckland - A drive that involved around 3,000km, 350 caches, 14 days, and a bit of a detour through East Cape, Gisbourne, Napier/Hastings, some back roads in the Wairarapa, Cape Pallisier and Nelson/Tasman as well as every CANZ cache along the way that I was still missing. (Hence my excuse for the not as interesting log as I usually try to make mine.) But thanks to every awesome amazing as cacher that placed caches along these roads, you made my trip awesome, and very cache happy!
TFTC!!

Nice easy find on our way home from a cache trip to Kawerau. Dropped off Stinky Fish and Socko to wallow in the stink of a mill town. Different stink from Rotorua.
17.05: On the way from Lake Tarawera back to Paengaroa. Quick and easy find at roadside. We discovered the cache on the GPSr in the morning already but now it was easier to stop[|)].
Weather: clouds, 18°C;
Wheelchair: yes, no problem;
State: all good.
IN & OUT: nothing.
Thank you!

Quick find. NZ Flossy pulled up just as were returning the cache. Nice to meet you. SL. TFTC.
Given that I was on my way to the Kawerau event it was a very appropriate cache title for the first Kawerau cache that I attempted.
Many thanks

Found with Ma from Dominc-Aidan. Coordinates seemed slightly out. Took the Lord of the Caches geo coin and will find a fun location for it in or around Karratha, West Australia.
I know this place from an adventure race. It is great when people will allow there property to be used for events. TFTC
First find on a beautiful, sunny afternoon. On a mission to log some quick-find caches while visiting family. Good start; dropped two TBs into the cache. TFTC.
2nd to Find! Our first stop on our way into Kawerau. Took the 'From Narbonne' trackable. Thanks for the cache Dominic-Aidan.

Woohoo, our 2nd FTF for the night ,that makes it 2 from 2!
A well chosen cache spot and while searching and signing the cache not a car went past, must be a very peaceful accommodation spot in Tui Glen.
I have often thought about placing some caches along this stretch of road, it in my opinion is the nicest way in and out of Kawerau of the 2 choices, no nasty Mill to drive past just clean green trees. We decided to complete the circuit on our way back to Whakatane.
Thanks for the caches Neigh'bours!!!
