I have quite a few dead caches that I'm going to archive, however I would like to rehide this one as its important to me. Will arrange a new container as soon as I can.
Nope I think its gone. Lots of muggles also. Felt uncomfortable walking suspiciously in the bush right on the road.
Nope, could not find the cache in the day time either. Had a good look around and noticed a large branch had been snapped off. Was the cache attached to this limb ??? I dunno. Anyway, enjoyed the view, but not the junk left behind. [:(!]
It was pitch black when I came out of the C=C=C series, and I thought I had some time to try this one out, but came up empty handed. Great photos on the description above. I will be back givorden.
A quick find while dropping off my car to tackle the first part of the C=C=C series. I'm a Roley local too and my experience was a lot like yours givorden. Our house wasn't in any real danger but we chose to stay away for the night, mainly so as not to distress the kids. I've enjoyed driving up Canning Mills Rd and seeing the bush recover bit by bit. TFTC givorden.
tftc s. quick find on a sunday drive

Love the idea of this cache, may use this in high muggle areas..

Up here planning for a weekend attack on the caches in the area with a group of friends and just checking out where we can safely park our vehicles, when I turned around to start heading home when my GPS showed this one only 10m away. I couldn't resist it so I jumped out and had a quick find... TFTH
Stopped by this one this morning on the way to Mundaring Weir for a picnic. Super quick find and no dramas opening the container. Many thanks for the details on the recent bushfire; lived in the general area here in 2009 and just moved back in July. Found with CDM261, TFTC!
Found with dazndky who have just moved back to the west after a 2 year stint in AK NZ and a 7 month stint on the East Coast.
Quick find by mr dazndky and mrs CDM261
Mr dazndky got back to the car before realising he'd left his GPS in the bush at the cache site. LOL
Beautiful day for caching...

On our way up the hill to this one from C=C=C 14 and who should we bump into but Me & B, Trevkevred and Urch out and about caching. It's always nice to catch up with fellow cachers and especially these lovely ladies. Hope you enjoyed you day out as much as we did!!
Also really enjoyed this little cache, it wasn't what I was expecting!

This was a bonus cache. This pull off was the designated parking spot to collect Me&B and Trevkevred to tackle a section of the CCCs. So it was great to have this nearby cache to find while I was waiting. I have vague recollections of finding another very close to here some years ago.
Thanks for the very nice cache givorden.

A quick find after finishing part of the ccc pipe series, the easy part judging by the looks of the terrain on this side of Canning Mill Rd.
Last time I stopped here it was just after the disastrous bush fire, it certainly has looks different now.

After finishing the section of C=C=C series 07-13 with Me&B and urch it was a nice quick find with no hills or channels to climb in and out of. Nice container. TFTH givorden.
Great views from here, nice to see the bush green again thanks for this hide .
While doing 23 to 1 on the C=C=C series we stopped at this one to make a quick find

A quick find whilst doing the Canning Contour Channel series of caches. Walked here from canning dam. TFTC.
We were meandering along the nearby canal and noticed this cache nearby. No good reason could be found not to try for this while in the area. Quick find but it required the gentle hand of a lady to coax the appartus to open.

I imagine this cache is getting opened quite a lot, all of a sudden. Smack bang in the middle of the recently published Prankster series; this was too hard to ignore. Thanks for the cache givorden.
Was not working until the afternoon so decided to head South early and pick up a few Caches
on route and also have a look at the terrain around the newly publsihed hard core C=C=C Series.
This Cache was just a short distance from a C=C=C hide , so it seemed a very good place to start.
Cute Cache.

Ouch!! This one caused me considerable pain. To start with, the GPS had me going around in circles. Then, when I thought I had GZ pinpointed, I suddenly experienced intense burning pain to one of my feet - seargent ant. Hadn't been acquainted with one of these little beasties for quite a few years and had forgotten just how ferocious they could be. First instinct told me to retreat to the car for first aid treatment, but the geocacher in me thought that I couldn't give in. Another couple of circles, then bingo, there it was. Unlocked the cache, signed the log, and returned the cache as I had found it. A warning to fellow cachers though, not only are the ants an entity to treat with respect, but there is quite a lot of broken glass around here too, so take care. Thanks to the CO for the cache.
After getting piped at Migrant Park I was able to beat Keego’s Geotruck up the hill. Found a clean log, nice to have *FTF* at 1307. It was amassing to look out and see nature at work with all the regeneration.
Thanks Givorden.
Thanks Givorden.
Saw this one published on the way, so I decided to scout it out. With SCH in the lead the cache was soon found by him. SL TFTC Givorden
