Sorry for the delay in getting this back up. I have a plan for this week to get to it. Might make it a little harder
arrived at the cache and it has been muggled we were getting attacked my mozzies so we didn't go right to it but could see it with no lid
Gee I'm pleased GeoSon was with me for this one, He made the elevation change and signed the log for both of us.
After climbing the wrong tree which geodaughter did a fantastic job. We climbed the right tree and yes found it.

I think there was some scheming at the nearby event and as I tagged along for a crack at this cache, it became obvious en route why the gang had kindly invited me along... Hmmm.... On arrival, there was only one place the cache could be and we were never going to find it by tapping on the roots... So, engage all terrain hands and feet and off we go... [^]
The journey to GZ was not as difficult as I had anticipated, fortunately there had been no rain recently... Once there, I spotted the container and reached out to extract the log. A pen came skywards in my direction and I added the names of the onlookers down below... Pity I didn't have a camera to get a shot of the gallery...
I saw a nice little nook for the container and tucked it away nicely. I then drew the tell tale sign up with it, to add that extra little bit of difficulty for those trying to snare a sighting from terra firma... I know, it's the way I work...
Thanks for a well placed cache and a lil bit of exercise. It's a cool tree and a nice park...
Cheers The Talent.

Well this cache wasn't too far from an event so a group raid was organised. It was Gunnie69 who volunteered to retrieve the cache and he did it with style! Would have looked funny to muggles otherwise!
Found with MrMeccano on the Caching in the Hamptons weekend.

This turned into a group exercise as we had all been enjoying the goodies at the Event. Once at GZ, one volunteer (did you actually volunteer Gunnie??) scrambled up the tree amidst lots of encouragement and managed to retrieve the cache which was summarily signed by all below. Thanks The Talent
I started to climb the tree then remembered how old I was, gave the challenge to a (younger) fellow cacher. Thanks to Scruffie62

I saw the cache on a previous visit but wasn't up to retrieving it. So, at the GCQ event a few of us decided to give it a go. We walked acros to GZ and the container was soon spied from the ground. A person more nimble than I did the job (Thanks Gunnie 69). All logged , container replaced, we walked back to the event. TFTC The Talent.
Found it on our frist visit but was outta reach for me, but at the BBQ we had a little bit oif help, and our name is now in the log, Thanks
I think my bashing on the tree roots only served to distract Gunnie, who was the lucky chap we voted to retrieve the cache for our little group during the event in this park today. He climbed competently toward the marks (were those made by a cacher, clutching at the bark desperately as he slid groundward, I wonder?) and we all admired his skill and things and the fact that he was kind enough to pass the logbook around the rest of the group. General applause greeted the finale of the hunt as he arrived intact back on terra firma. TFTClimb, Gunnie, and TFTC, The Talent. =^.^=
Arrived at GZ and could see the object of our interest swinging in the breeze but its tether was caught around a small branch. Nothing ventured, nothing gained so up the tree I scrambled. A tail would have been a bonus to hang on as I reached out to pull and shake untill it eventually came free.
Thanks The Talent

1235hrs. It had to be that tree as we walked up. The better half thought I was joking when I said it had to be climbed. Well up I went and found the cache. Coming down was harder as a fused ankle doesn't move and finding foot holds was difficult. Was a clever cache. TFTCSL
I was in Rocky for a very quick stop over.
With only time to do one cache it had to be something good.
I'd heard about this one on the grapevine and knowing Mr Talent does a pretty cool cache I made it my target.
To make things more interesting it also just happened to be raining at the time I was there.
Can't let a bit of water stop the hunt so I parked nearby and with umbrella in hand made my way to GZ.
Arrived at the spot and saw where I needed to be.
It was at this point I discovered my new skill of being able to get to the cache with one hand while holding the umbrella in the other.
Once “there” I saw the container and was able to do the business without getting it wet.
Really enjoyed this one Mr Talent so it gets a FP from me, I wish there were more of them.
Maybe there might be next time I visit the area.

Not the regular type of cache enjoyed by 64YO cacher, but that is what boys do isn't it. mused the gaqgle of mugglets hanging around in the park, sure they were waiting for a big crash but they were disappointed. Picked up TB. Thanks for a challenging cache and for it NOT being a micro!!.
No problems in finding this one at night. Got my son to grab it and SL. TN left "TatteredShoes' "Oh, Nuts!" TB.

*FTF* - I learned that these have to be logged exactltly this way for statistics to count and that editing a previous log won't do it. So here is my edit.
Would like to try and find next weekend when I'm visiting. Any chance it'll be placed by then?
yeah me too mate, I'll be modifying the hide soon to make it tougher for muggles to see even if they are looking right at it
Dropping of a Geocoin. Please look at the goal of the coin before taking it out of this cache.

FTF - yahoo!! We are happy to be first however this cache was muggled when we arrived. It's school holidays and lots of kids in the park. The cache was missing a lid and all the contents. We signed the official geocache notice to comfort we got here first. We had to dodge an itchy grub to get the cache.
Will do some modifications to the location and camouflage so that it doesn't get muggled again. shame about losing the geocoin. That was a nice coin.
