Approached this one on foot from the east along Lady Game Drive. We debated making an almost direct attack from the road, but decided to heed caution and find a slightly safer route further up the road. A short trek in and the cache was found. Lovely little spot to enjoy watching the cars drive past below. TFTC!
Needed to find a cache today so Nanoduster could drop off his travel bug which he'd brought over from Indiana USA. This was the closest with the required size. One that I had seen but not tried to find. So today was the day. Instructions followed. Two small barking dogs marked our passage behind the houses. Want long before we had CIH. Nanoduster dropped off his travel bug and picked up another. TFTC.
Nice little trek to the cache. Definitely a 3 terrain. Dropped off the Scout and picked up the Taj Mahal. TFTC
#13200 17:15This geocache has been sitting on the map for years, and everytime I drove on Lady Game Drive I was reminded of this traditional way up.Today I followed instructions, walking along the back fances and then a short bush bash to GZ where the cache was found in good order.TFTC stokoefamily.
Have always passed this rock and though that it would be a good place for a cache, little did I know there was a cache! Good short little easy hike and cool views from the top. TFTC Some good dogs In the first house.
We did quite a hike to do this cache today, exploring all the back streets, creeks and shortcuts. The reserve is a little soggy ATM, the directions are perfect, and theres a nice cave to explore on the way. TFTC

After a couple of failed attempts at breaking through the dense bush I finally found the good line from the houses as per additional path hint

A most impressive location, had to just sit for 5 minutes and 'smell the roses'.

Today I went for a walk and was able to find the cache. A nice bit of bush. On Sundays the traffic is a lot less.
Thanks for the cache

Stood up the top looking down on a wet afternoon after a lovely stroll through a pretty piece of remnant bush land, with the bonus of the cache at the end! Thanks for the cache stokoefamily
I can see why the CO recommends this route to GZ, although the way was still guarded by an echidna, 2 bush turkeys and a rabbit. The cache and log are nice and dry despite a lot of rain in recent days.
Found it fro the directions at back of houses, no that easy thought. Found with Newby Katrina17
I deliberately targeted this one for a calendar spot and an ancient wonder find. I startled a rock wallaby on the way down. They are really cool looking creatures. A nice easy find - all good at the cache. TFTC.
Came from below. Probably more dangerous route. Took a while but found. Cache owner please note the ledge it’s under is actually moving/rocking loose. Found as part of Mystery your. Tftc.
Bush bash, scramble to GZ then found the right rick ledge. Great view over the road. TFTC
Easy find with good instructions and good coords. Great view from GZ. OCW Brewmaker TFTC
Took advantage of a sunny day after a stretch of rain to collect a few caches in the area. Parked nearby to grab 2 in close proximity.
Like a fool, I mistook the clear grassy area as someone’s yard, so I went through the bush the entire way, through swathes of spider webs, past the sinister feeling muggles’ cave, around the brush turkey nest with a protective daddy turkey staring me down, and eventually made it to the cache. I took a moment to de-web and remove all the nature from my hair and sign the cache whilst watching he contra-flowing traffic on the street below, then headed back to the car. I went a different way back and discovered the grassy track around the back of the houses which took my very quickly back to the car - much easier!
Thanks for the adventure and the cache

I had a couple of hours before work this morning and decided to come grab this cache.
After parking at the recommended spot i headed down the cleared area behind the houses. Im glad i had long pants on as the path has been heavily overgrown with burrs, prickly bushes and i think some nettles as well.
A bit of a bush bash later and i got to the GZ. It took me about 10 mins to uncover the cache.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

After a walk down the fence and some bush bash, cache was quickly found near the roc formation.
It was very interesting to see the rat race!

Located at 8:03pm. After a long day of work and finishing later than expected, I still was thirsting for a cache and made my way to this one. Good trek through the bush to GZ. Took a seat and surveyed the area. Discovered a TB. Very pleasant evening to do so. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Quickly found it on a trip collecting in Lindfield and West Pymble. TFTC.
Stopped off on my way out to the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to pick up this one. 1st of 15 finds for the day.
Parked the geomobile at the end of Wyuna Road, then did the dash behind the houses and down through the scrub to GZ. Quickly uncovered the hide and had CIH. TNLNSL, then replaced as found. It's a nice view down to Lady Game Drive from way up at GZ. TFTC stokoefamily.

I've had my eye on this one for a while, today was the day as we were in the area collecting info for a Virtual cache in Lane Cove National Park.
We parked the car and followed the fence line as suggested. the recent wet weather has really allowed the vegetation to shoot up, it was almost knee height in some areas.
At the flat rock we turned right and made our way over to the edge - great spot. I'm sure none of the cars passing below had any idea we were up there.

Wow!!!! I did some serious bush bashing at first from 'Log in the Log' cache to make it to this one. That is, until I saw the houses which were described in the description.
It's amazing what I had found in the bush during my bush bash section of my journey.
After a short while I saw what I assumed to be flat rock and made my 90 degree turn towards GZ. Once I neared GZ I saw lots of possible stash places and commenced my search. I soon had the cache in hand and performed signing duties. I did note that the last signing was by Crash2079 back in Nov 2016. Once again at the same cache some months apart. I returned to the fence line of the houses and followed the clearing until I got to the street and I was most surprised to see I exited the trail right next to my Geomobile. I could have saved all that bush bashing.

I had just found "Out of Bounds" near Gordon Golf course and noticed this was not too far away. I followed the fire trail which came out on Lady Game Dr. Then it was only a short stroll to GZ. Thankfully there is a bike/walking lane as this road gets rather busy at times. Followed some steps up but I was initially on the wrong level. Kept going up and made a quick find. Nice spot to sit in the shade on this hot afternoon.

Can't believe it's been 6 months since this great little cache was last found. I walked along the road and found the stairs to nowhere which after a quick scramble got me to GZ. Cache in prefect condition and a really cool spot. Cheers!
#2940 - Attacked from below after finding the nearby Log in a Log. One side of the road is walkable, but tricky safely crossing the road. The a bit of a clamber up, but there are some cut steps up the rock for the bottom section. Just brush around with the spider stick beforehand. Nice elevated spot for a cache, hidden safely. Many thanks to ***stokoefamily*** for establishing and maintaining this cache.
Based on previous logs I was expecting a hard slog through the bush but I found it quite open and easy to traverse. Saw a scungy looking bush shanty on the way too. When I arrived at the rock the cache was easily located and I enjoyed the view. It really is a nice place to sit. Thanks
Left the vehicle up the top after finding the log one. Followed the suggested trail to GZ, at where CIH was gained quickly by torchlight, thanks stokefamily, TB taken.
A very long bush bash to reach the cache. Dropped a TB. When I came home artemidorus1 texted us saying that midmy7 had been bitten by a tick. I had pain in my scalp while I was logging the caches. After we got the text my geodad checked my scalp and removed a tick from where it hurt.

It really didn't look like an approach from above was the right one for this cache, but, believe me, it was! I've always admired this rocky overhang from the road below when driving through: "All the peaks soar, but one the rest excels; Clouds overcome it;" Perhaps a little hyperbolic when thus borrowed.
Plenty of eight-legged fellows on the ways in and out, and later, a few different eight-leggers were removed with forceps from two of the geokids.
Thanks, stokoefamily!

Been meaning to get this one for awhile. Hard to find way in but worth it for the views.
Another one down. Made my way to GZ from above. Followed the fence line at the back of the houses and came to the house with no fence and kiddy play equipment. Walked in aprox 60 something meters to an area in which the cache was cleverly hidden. Cache is dry - No TB in cache. SL Log is dry. ZTNLN TFTH TFTC Great view. Fav point awarded. Now to get out of this area too many cobwebs arounds.
Driven passed here many times, but tonight was the first time I had the opportunity for a search. Parked at the WP, jogged down the road, and found somewhat of a staircase helping the ascent. Nice spot!
GZ was a little hard to climb to from the roadside but got there eventually. First thing I spotted was the cushion and thought maybe something was hidden in it but no, it was only the decoy. This was a great hide just the same, TFTC.
Made find harder than I should have. Tried to get it from lady game drive. Not easy to get up from there. When at spot found cushion and lay on it to get cache. Forgot pen so could not log visit. great view from here. TFTC
#744 (1 of 3 today) (Streak day 190)
After a week or so of feeling unwell, and only grabbing one (or two if another was a park and grab), what to do on the first day I felt OK? Try for a number of bush caches, of course.
This was probably the most difficult terrain, remembered from having DNFed it previously, so thought it best to try it first while my fitness level held.
Got to GZ OK, but once there, the iPhone started the GPS shakes. Interestingly it had put me in a slightly different spot than last visit - one I hadn't got to. So, gave this new area the once over. Almost the first thing I spotted was a cushion - nice.
The most logical spot being pointed at was not quite as physically demanding as my last visit, but still required care. Checked it but no find. Kept eliminating progressively less and less hazardous areas until I thought I'd cleared out the area. Then I glanced somewhere I should have looked earlier - except for there.
CIH.
Well, I certainly made that a lot harder than it needed to be, but glad I've got the smiley.
Sat on cushion to complete signing duties - a first.

Nice little spot and a decent bash through the bush to get there. Did all sorts of unnecessary climbing to find the cache.
Found it, sat down, ate a Ham/Cheese/Tabouli wrap and chilled out for a bit. Thanks for the spot and for the cache

Approached from below, which wasn't as difficult as I originally thought and quite quick, too! Cool find after driving past there hundreds of times

Had always thought.. Who would ever be bothered to walk down here to find this one. WELL we ended up just strolling past anyway. tftc
Took a couple of young kids and the terrain was too much for them. Plus I ate more spider web than I would have liked.
Great spot. Months ago I attempted this from the wrong direction and quickly realized my error. It's quite a bush bash in. Excellent place. A nest of very big ants nearby. SL TFTC.
Have driven past this rock all my life. The kids call it Lizard rock. Great view and glad my sons decided to stay in car the height was making me nervous.
Again, the terrain has defeated me. Pleasant enough walk to GZ but I can't remember when I've ever walked through more spider webs.
With only a few metres to go, saw what was ahead of me.
Hmmm.
Started off and checked some of the possible hides, but alone there is only so far I'm prepared to go. At this point, I can imagine the cache just on the other side of the next rock, mocking me.
One's reach and one's grasp indeed.

Great spot and regularly drive past here and amazing views. Although I accidently wrote down that I found it yesterday...ooops. Dropped off the Parrot and Picked up the suncatcher. TFTC.
I did question whether I was on the right track a couple of times, but trusted in the GPSr and found it. What a brilliant place - so "remote", but with a secret view on a busy thoroughfare. The freaky doll that was previously pictured was lying on a cushion on the rock. Spooky! I'll post a photo.
Well it looks like I took a different route to this cache than most others. I walked in along Lady Game Drive from Lindfield way, there's not really a safe place for pedestrians to walk, but I didn't know that at the start. When I saw the rocky outcrop I thought "That's were I would hide a cache" and thankfully it wasn't too hard to climb up. There's even some little steps cut into the rock which I suspect have been there for a very long time.
The cushion and spooky doll are still there. I left them as I found them (after getting a photo or two). Check out that freaky doll's eyes! I found the cache, signed the log, and left a Suncatcher Geocoin trackable. TFTC!

WHAT A VIEW, GREAT PLACE TO SIT,RELAX FOR A FEW MINUTES & WATCH THE RATS RACE UP AND DOWN LADY GAME DRIVE. NICE SPOT. THANKS, RUHAMSTER.
After finding Log in the Log I waked around and bush bashed down to this one. It was a bit creepy at GZ as the terrain was quite damp and slippery after the heavy rain last weekend. The doll is still there and a cushion is under the rocks not far from the cache. It was completely dry so someone must come here and sit and contemplate the traffic.
Watch out for ticks. I got one on my neck. I thought now it was winter they'd be finished for the season.
So glad to check this one off. TFTC

31st find for The Great Scouts Australia Geocaching Competition 2013. Lovely spot, favourite point awarded! TFTC stokoefamily.
I saw that a useful TB was in here, so decided it was a good reason to finally visit this cache while in the area. I parked at the recommended spot and followed the fences looking for the flat rock. There were a few of those, so I over-shot the mark, exchanged some pleasantries with some guys fixing their fence before heading into the bush. I was soon at GZ, and quickly found the container, so I retrieved the TB, signed the log, appreciated the unusual view of the road, then headed back to the car. TFTC!
I have been meaning to do this one for a while and as I was not too far away in Gordon for a lunch appointment, I decided to drop by afterwards and attempt it. It was not difficult finding my way to GZ but I did not enjoy stepping through all that garden refuse that people seem to dump in that strip below the fences. At GZ it was a quick find. It’s a great view from there, and not just of the traffic. SL, dropped TB, TFTC stokoefamily.
Found today while caching about north of De Burghs Bridge. Spotted a lizard the length of my lower arm on the way to GZ (not a usual sight for someone from NZ!). Quickly located once at GZ. Interesting view onto the road down below. Thanks!
This cache has been in our minds a long time. Today was the day we decided to follow the suggested parking. Walked down to GZ, no obvious trail was found - no bushbashing was needed. Found the cache in the first spot. TFTC!
Reperio at 0740.
Have been past this cache many times...but never had the time to do it safely. Today I was roaming around the suburbs waiting to meet up with Roostaman to head off to NZ the next day...and so had plenty of time. Parked some distance away and walked to GZ where I crossed the road and headed up to where the cache was. This is a great little vantage point of the traffic passing by. Nice to have this one ticked off.

Lovely spot. I have driven past this spot so many times..from now on, I'll keep an eye out for fellow geocachers.
I found this with Dad (Kid Ron Satan) back in July but I didn't have an account back then. Today I went there with edtam26 and Techno Marksman to make it an official find. TFTC!
9/10/12 5:36 PM What a trek - in work clothes! Not a good idea. But have seen this feature many times driving past so good to see it from another angle. TFTC
A great cache, we also drive under the rock almost everyday. Took a chipmunk & left our signature button. TFTC
After finding out about Munzees earlier today I decided to find the one near the German Bakery this afternoon. This cache has been on my hit list for a while so thought I would attack it at the same time. This is a serious bush bash but well worth the effort. It was fabulous sitting on the rock in the quiet of the bush to watch the traffic go by. I drive past often and know where my eyes will be going to as I pass this rock. Thanks so much for bring me here. BTW I remember studying Robert Browning at school and enjoyed reading his poetry.
TFTC! Always driven past, now we can really claim we've been up the "Scary Rock" !!!
Serious bush walk from way point. Good to sit and watch the muggles go by.
Have always admired the outcrop when driving along the road below. GeoSon and I approached from above and once we were in the right place we easily spotted signs of a cache.
It's a great spot - so close to the busyness and yet up here is a different world. Thanks for placing a cache in such a good location.

Great spot. Pleased I didn't approach it from below as the way in from the top looks like it is much easier if a bit boggy. Drove past later along Lady Game Drive and admired the rock outcrop from below.
Once we worked out how to approach this one we soon had the cache in hand. Would not want to try this from below! TFTC.
Nice easy bush bash from the Wyuna side but still on the muddy side behind the houses in Bolwarra (just behind one of geodaughters friend's houses actually). Took bag of erasers left a sharpener. Off to more this arvo - will try the Cygnet series. SL TFTC!
Made good use of my lunch hour (to borrow a famous phrase from another cacher) to duck out & snag this one overlooking Lady Game Drive. Took the Wyuna approach which was relatively straightforward. So much ground is still soggy at the moment, though we haven't had rain for days! Thanks stokoefamily.
There is nothing funnier than watching three grown men trying to climb up a mountain without falling back down into oncoming traffic. Stop snickering. We all climbed and the payoff was the find. Quite a nice view at GZ. The common phrase uttered was, "so how do we get back down?". SL TFTC. Greetings from Arizona, USA.
Out for a fun caching adventure with the voucher and FlytoSYD and we were not pleased with the thought of climbing the hill but it all turned out fine and we escaped without any injuries. Good hide & TFTC.
Walking through the reserve to Lady Game Dr then the climb to GZ...Then back down and on our way. TFTC!!
We parked east of GZ, near a locked gate, and walked back along the footpath. After negotiating the traffic we had CIH after some rock scrambling. Thanks stokoefamily.
Nice quick find after a short walk in. Be careful not knock a rock of the ledge onto lady game below.

I needed another cache to continue the streak and this was near where my eldest played soccer today.
So after parking near the suggested spot we soon found the grassy, boggy path to near GZ, which was soon reached after an easy bush bash. I made the find before my son had caught up!?!

The Comenarra Parkway led me to this cache like the Pied Piper and I felt I'd been led up the garden path to a bushbash with my approach to this cache. Knowing how busy Lady Game Drive was I knew it was sheer idiocy to park there so I approached from the suggested WP. The area behind the houses is somewhat of a bog at present so I headed into the trackless bush stumbling my way through spider webs and the odd grabbing vine until I found myself at the precipice. Indeed the rats were racing below but I ignored them and set off for the prize. This looked classic Sydney cache hiding territory and before too long I heard the sweetest sound of all - Hawkesbury sandstone scraping over hard plastic!
Signed the log and left a GC. Replaced as found. Looks like someone was in such a hurry they left a shoe behind!
Made my way straight back up the hill behind the houses and followed the property line back to the car which was much easier.
Thanks!

I've been driving past this cache for a while now and been meaning to stop but too busy during the week.
I was passing today and had the time to check it out. Made my way to it from the bottom but after finding it, took the way out by going past the rear fences of the houses up top and it was much easier as per the last finder. Dont forget to bring your web swatter with you.

Found with SkyPirate-. About 3:30pm This is a difficult location, we bush bashed from parking location, no tracks so don't recommend others do it that way. When the scrub got too dense with large rocks we went for a short distance along the cleared area behind fences can get muddy that area, then cut back across through scrub. Road access is not good, but we returned via road after locating a tricky way down. No TBs or coins in cache. Left a McDonald's happy toy. Took nothing. be super careful in the area.
