Looks like someone’s moved into the area. Had a good look around with Chamad, but nothing!
Had a good look around, but found nothing but a tent, some broken glass and burnt logs.
Six-year-old eagle-eyed son spotted this one. We were guided there by a baby butcher bird who sang us from tree to tree until we got to the right spot. A special experience! TFTC
Left the chewed up lego, but added some stickers for the next kids

Had a bit of a look at the bunker but there is metal fencing around. We then found our way to GZ for a quick find. Thanks.
Out and about caching today while on Bribie Island. Interesting spot. Cahe found. TFTC

Over here on Bribie Island today and parked close to this cache so it would have been downright rude not to have come and found it. I had no idea there were so many bunkers here on Bribie Island and this is one I didn't know about before today. I have previously been more north of here and visited some bunkers up there but hadn't seen this one. Thanks for showing it to us PJATPAC and Team_DNF. So much history around that geocaching show us. Cache found and signed.
Cheers and happy caching!

Mini geokid found this one. Lovely piece of history. Great day for it too, with stunning weather and views. Now for a cool dip! TFTC
We are having some lovely strolls around Bribie finding caches and this is one we found today. TFTC
Fifth day in Brisbane. Adding a few more yellow smileys to the map up North.
__________
With the previous DNF log, I was afraid to add another blue smiley, but a thorough search allowed a quick find. The brown stash is still there, unburnt, safe and in good shape.
Unfortunately, the listed TB is not in the stash anymore.
Greetings from France
> *Thanks Team_DNF for the cache *

Beautiful day with a beautiful view. Thanks for placing the cache here. The WWII relics were interesting too. Tftc.
Found it, nice easy find. 2 trackables that were last seen in this cache are both missing
I have been going back through the photos on my phone and I have realised that I have a number of caches that I have not logged...OOPS! So even though today is the 27.12.19, I have found some catches that should have been logged last September - this one included. The history in this spot is quite interesting and even though there were a few muggles around, I was able to find the cache without giving the game away. TFTC PJATPAC and Team_DNF
Continuing to pick up a few caches around the island before dinner this was the next one. A quick find and a stubbed toe thanks to the wrong choice in footware. TFTC PJATPAC and the maintenance Team_DNF
We have travelled a huge 25 kms fromBeerwah to Caboolture Showgrounds. Today we visited Bribie Island and this cache beckoned me. The WW2 bunkers are interesting. Cache found easily.
Nice easy find. Beautiful location. Went for a beach walk while we were there. SL TCLC.

Well today has been quite the fun adventure. After a day of glorious weather 4WDing down the beach front collecting caches, it was time to head home for our group (PPrime and Mrs Prime, Fangsoki, Crew153, Zacgyver, Captain Terror, Kbreeagh, Slow Puncture, Just A Trifle, Aussie Liahona, La Kedi, Net88, Grundies and myself). But before we go, there was time for one last cache for those of us who had not yet got it.
As most of us already had this one, and PPrime has collected it before starting, while the 4WD owners were pumping up their tyres, Zacgyver and I headed in for this one. A short wander and Zacgyver has soon laid eyes on what we were after. Log signed it was time to head back to the group, who we could hear chatting away quite happily from GZ.

Saturday. Revisiting this one today with a lovely group of geocachers. Grundies was our driver and I think he much preferred the drive back from the beach rather than the drive down to the beach that we did this morning! I think he did an amazing job on his first 4x4 job today
Thanks ***Team__DNF***, for showing us this interesting place.
We had found this one before, so we were visiting with TBs.

Heading out onto the beach today with a great group of adventurers ... but with a milestone in mind I was keen to get one more before we headed out - so I snuck over here early, easy find, and now ready for the big day out.
Thanks PJATPAC maintained by Team__DNF for entertaining me at this location.

Penultimate find on our expedition for today . Popped in after pumping back to pressure from our sojourn on the beach today. TFTC
Out with a very fun bunch of cachers 4WDing on Bribie to celebrate PPrime's 100th of Queensland's oldest 100 active caches and 7000th cache find. 1MinnieMoo and I headed in to find this while the tyres were being re-inflated. Quickly found. TFTC
Last day on Bribie after spending a beautiful 4 days here. Had gone for a swim, so no pen, photo of cih as proof of find TFTC
Had a hard look and found. Found it introducing in-laws to cache hunting. All good no
Got the treadlies off the back of the camper this morning, reinforced ourselves with a couple of long blacks, and got down to business. So we got to within a metre of GZ and spent a lot of time looking down low. Have our suspicions about this one ........... is it still there ? last cacher was a DNF also. I wonder if someone hasn't hidden it and its gone missing, or its been put in a different place ? P.S. had a second go late this arvo. Same result DNF
Found on 18/07/2019 by our grandson after losing enthusiasm, regained it enough to find more.
Found after a bit of a scratch around. Signed and returned. Another interesting piece of history!
Day 42 Mainland trip
Out and about caching on Bribie Island with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. An interesting signboard at the bunker nearby. TFTC

Caching in and around Beachmere to Bribie Island and surrounds, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

**# 24569** Found on our 2019 trip to Qld for winter.
A fine Autumn day for a drive around Bribie with MrsR again.
Not that many muggles around here today and mostly good quick finds.
This one is not a regular any more, just a small sized container.
Thanks for the cache Team__DNF,

Nice easy find. I really enjoy any local with a historical connection. Cache found in good condition although the log was a little damp. Thanks
No luck for us today at GZ. A beautiful area and some interesting history. Thanks.

Another great find in a special location! Log is a little wet and may need a new one soon
No luck here for us today, our last one for the day and the only dnf. We used E 'S new cords but even they didn't help thanks for bringing us here
Out this morning with Mrs FNG, and we decided to wander our way over to Bribie Island after dropping the kids off for school. See if we can get a walk in (mixed with one or two caches maybe).
This was cache 3 for the day.
Went and visited the bunker first. I had read about the ones further up the beach (4x4 access only) but did not realise this one was here. Just another example of Geocaching leading me to new discoveries!
Okay, went to look for cache. GZ seems to have had a bit of a burn off recently, but cache is still there, and in good condition. Now signed and has our names in it too.

On our way back to the Gold Coast after attending an Event at Bribie Island we decided to do some night caching. This took a while to locate at night but E_Smiley spotted as we were just about to bail.

TFTC PJATPAC (maintained by Team__DNF). Took some PAFs before finding this one at night. I missed the turn off initially and ended up in a private road access. Night caching is really not our forte.
Found this one 11 meters away from gz. Our waypoint was S27 03.487 E153 11.950.
Quite a sneaky hide. Glad I had a torch and a walking stick to poke it with.

Meet up with EO here by chance. Made the found not really as per the hint but all good south the cache.
Thank you for hiding this cache PJATPAC

Found it with another in a tucked away spot down low. We tried to peer into the bunker and saw some old wires that once went to the equipment. Thanks for alerting is to this piece of history
Had a good look but I tend to agree with the previous cachers, fire got this one.
To good for this little black duck. I had to wonder if the recent burn off had taken the cache out. Will keep a watch and rebisit when next in the area. Probably just a case of cache blindness
Weekend away so after enjoying breakfast by the beach we decided to enjoy some caching by the beach. Nice easy one. Tftc
This bunker has a very interesting history dating back to the Second World War. Tricky T and I had no trouble finding this cache.
A day at Bribie with my brother to help our sister settle in for a well deserved break. Swampybees and I took advantage of the visit to chase down a few caches. Haven't been to this bunker for many a year and recall being able to go inside way back then. Good to see it's being preserved. GPS soon had us at the right location and all good here. Thanks for the cache.
My hosts took us through the 4wd access road to the beach today. On the way back he stopped here to reflate the tyres back to road pressure so I took the opportunity to look for this. At GZ there were a couple of muggles that I thought were having a look for the cache so I walked on a little (okay, my GPSr let me overshoot) which enabled me to see they were picking some prickled thing, but they moved on then. I was pleased my caching instincts allowed me to find the cache without fuss, so after signing the log I was back in time to not be the hold up to the driver. Thanks for the cache.
