Last cache for the day. Arrived here at sunset so it was nearly dark. I couldn't find this neither:-(
First day in Perth with BettyBoo3747 was a bit muggle plagued!
Knocked off some puzzles, a few trads on the way, and the odd multi.
We certainly had trouble at the Old Mill - no cache could we find.
The place was closed and well locked, but the GPSr said at the entrance.
Thanks, Robmc.

Toll a few minutes to locate the critter. A nice place to stop on a long walk around town even though the mill was closed.
Another great location from you guys. Starting to actually visit some of the random places in perth! TFTH!
Heading home after a second Ikea visit, decided to pull in and grab a couple of South Perth caches.
This was a quick find as they were locking up.
The container has seen better days. There is some tape on there holding it together but he "stickyness" has gone.
Could really do with a new cntainer

Found cache while others playing with their phones to open apps! Shame the mill was closed but will come back and visit someday
We've always wondered about the windmill but it took geocaching to bring us to find out. Dinky little cache and an interesting bit of history. Good one, Boendoe Bears!
Today, we decided to have a nice drive along the river
to pick up a few of the caches that we missed on our first visit.
We enjoyed the parkland's and found a good variety of hides.
Thanks for the cache, Boendoe Bears.

Quick find on my way to 11/12/13 event. Cache needs attention
Thanks always meant to stop here

Thought it was actually in the complex, but finally found it. Thank you for bringing me somewhere I have driven past many times but never visited!
Well that's a different container. Can't say I've seen that before, nor using on for this purpose! Over in Perth for work & this one is nice & close to my lodgings. Now for dinner.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Found after a few minutes of hunting. Unfortunately the place is closed due to a lack of funding(?) Cache still accessible though.
Great to finally check out the Old Mill after just driving past it for so long! Thankyou!
Walked across the bridge from the city this afternoon to have a look at the mill. No problems finding the cache, although the logstrips are both completely full and I only just managed to find a blank spot to sign in. Thanks for the cache and for the interesting write-up and history.
Nice quick find with the geokids and geomutt spending the morning at the South Perth Foreshore. Unable to sign as the log is full. Took photo instead. TFTC
Found it despite my GPS reading a little out. Just used cache sense to find the most likely spot. Seen the mill from the freeway many times but first time to visit. Interesting place. Thanks for bringing me here.
First find of a day out on a bike in Perth. Luckily the spot was closed and allowed me to easily let my fingers do the walking. TFTC
Ratted around for a while, trying to look inconspicuous and eventually came up with the goods.
We came to the foreshore for a Mother's day picnic with our adult children and fellow geocachers Tiger Rose WA OZ.
After an enjoyable lunch we decided we need a walk, so what better than to pick up a couple of caches in the process
A few muggles in the old mill but was able to do a quick find, sign and replace without being noticed.
Thanks for the cache Boendoe Bears [^]. first part of the cache mechanism is broken & held on with tape but log is OK and cache secure.

Nice quick find today. Had to stop and read the signboard for a bit while some muggles went in.

Was out for a morning with Mistraluna on an Anzac Day of caching.
I thought this was gone. Jazl will remember this one as she saw a squirrel running inside the grounds and up the tree. I have a arm longer than the other.

Was starting to get withdrawal symptoms from not being able to get out caching for a few days (only have two weeks school holidays, and don't want to waste them with mundane things like gardening, housework, blah, blah, blah), so gave AmstradKid a call. Reminisced about the lights that used to be on this mill in times gone by, and the lights that used to be on the old Swan Brewery in the shape of a ship (two incarnations of that one). But the highlight of this particular location was seeing a squirrel. Perth Zoo used to have them running around everywhere. Great to see one again. Thanks for bringing us here Boendoe Bears

Find #265. On a Munzee run along the freeway bike path capturing over 100 munzees.
Stopped by after capping all the munzees. A terrific place! Read some history and then just before I began looking for the cache one of the volunteer workers came out. Turns out they were just wondering if I was waiting for someone or if I thought it wasn't free to go in but I explained to her about geocaching and she had never heard about it! Had a short chat with her and found out she has been volunteering there for almost 38 years!!!!!! After we finished our chat I made a quick find! Thanks for the cache and the fun experience that came with it!

My caching company was fantastic!
Quickly found, nice spot. TFTC

Did this one on a night if caching in Perth, nice spot, always seen the mill from the freeway but never have seen it this close up! TFTC
Flew into Perth this morning to be greeted by a lot of rain and the most amazing prolonged thunderstorm I can remember. The good part is that it keeps others indoors while we can search for the prizes. This was a nice quick find, thanks Boendoe Bears for the cache and the story
Found @ 19:44!
Find #2 today after moving accommodation (yet again)!
Took a wrong turn that forced us onto Mill Point Road so thought I should make good of the extra spent fuel by finding another cache!
I had scouted out this cache before, usually during the dark with time constraints, but the GPS always placed the cache on the other side of the fence...
Thanks to a previous log (suggesting cache was not inside the compound) I decided to actually look for it this time! Found by torch light in the only likely place (with hindsight)!
The 'spoiler' photo is quite useful - or you could try the following coordinates (only a few metres away):
S 31° 57.981 · E 115° 50.823

Thanks for the cache. A spot that I have often driven past and thought I should have a look at but never had the time. Thanks for taking me here.
It was in one of the first places I looked, but obviously didn't look properly. Looked everywhere else until returning to the original spot for a proper look. And Bingo! Unusual cache, is that a floss container or something? TFTH
Seems I was not the only one to visit here today - have been past before but there were too many people at the office. This time is was after hours so a nice easy find, other than opening the container that was a bit of a struggle.

On a trip up to Perth for Australia Day celebrations, went for a bit of a walk around South Perth Mill Pt area and had a look for some caches along the way.

Another cache on the way home from work to keep the start of the year ticking along nicely..
I had a five minute gap between arriving in a #35 bus and departing on the next one, but that left me with a couple of minutes to spare after finding, retrieving, signing and replacing the cache.
Free hint for future searchers: it doesn't matter if they're not open...
A reasonable place for a micro.

Rocked up at 6:05 on a Sunday so no such luck as they are shut! Next time perhaps.
On a bike tour along the river I found this one.
Was being observed by 'the volunteers'...
When I found it, it took me a while to figure out how to open it
Greetings from Belgium.

Found with hadrollo, had fun watching him studying his phone trying to get coordinated while I was opening the container. TFTC!
Only spent a few minutes looking before a very helpful volunteer rushed out and said “its
under there”. Shame she wanted to be helpful as it took all the fun out of the hunt.

Great to be taken to some of Perth's history. A quick find on a beautiful morning
After spending the majority of the day at the nearby zoo we decided to nab a couple of caches before heading home. Having read the description Daz went in search of the find. Within a minute or two he had it and while replacing the container one of the staff members came out for a chat. They are excited that geocaching is bringing visitors that otherwise might not have stopped by. TFTC.
Took our little geo grandson here and had a picnic .Its a nice peaceful place. The volunteer receptionist rushed out when she saw us begin searching and showed us where it was. She was very interested having been taught the basics by previous cachers. She noted our find in her diary of goings on. TFTC
