This is an amazing site. Id love to come back here with the ability to spend a few hours hunting around no signs whatsoever to help the general public. Find it as poor folks that dont share our weird hobby. Sure are missing out!
TFTC Pixel_James your cache History 1875 that we found today. We arrived at Clements Gap Conservation Reserve just before lunch. We set up camp at the Old School. After a coffee we headed out with the international of completing TheKellyGangs Gnome series and the other caches in the Reserve. We had a great afternoon. The Gnome series deserve all the favourites they have and more. A well thought out and at time frustrating series to solve and find. Find Count: 17706
Over at Port Pirie for our Anniversary Australia Day long weekend. Today we headed to Clement's Gap to tackle the very favourited Gnome series by The Kelly Gang. A quick find at GZ after a walk with the flies! TFTC

Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying our time travelling in the YP. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.
Decided to head down the Yorke Peninsula as we hadn't been here before.
Stopped here for some lunch, a very quirky spot.
Went for a walk after lunch and found the cache, all good

Nice walk in the bush. It would be great if the signs were replaced around here. The area seems to have a lot of history which is fading with time.

A country drive with the muggle other half to collect a few in the mid north that the Adders missed out on when he could not join the weekly Wednesday wander.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
Approaching GZ we were looking for a sign to show us the way but alas there was none. maybe it was our approach route from the disused track that had us miss them. No sign at GZ either but the cache location did not have us stumped. Pity about the lack of signs though as after reading previous logs we would have liked to learn more about the area.
Thank you for the cache BrettnJames, found 22/04/2022, 4:27:34 PM

The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle solving group had us heading once again in search of solved puzzles and anything else we might be passing. Today it was myself, SA Sewer Rats and Astro. [:o)] Today we were meeting at the Rat's Nest before heading northwards towards our ultimate goal of reaching the new caches at Clement's Gap. There were the usual laughs[^], bad jokes, a couple of FTF's and some more DNF's to add to a list that should be shrinking and not increasing. [:(!] A big day out with me not getting home until 1.00 a.m. the next day and Astro even later.
A short walk by torchlight and the cache was soon in hand. Now where did we leave that geomobile. [?]
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks Pixel_James for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

It was time for a Wednesday wander.
A trio of Befuddled puzzlers met at the Rat's den, to go north.
The trio consisted of SA Sewer Rats, Brisal5 and Astro.
It was day filled with adventures, stories, laughter and caches.
We set off with a list of targeted caches.
Most of the targeted caches were found.
This was a a quickish stop, after taking in some of the history, then find and stamped the log and then on our way north and beyond. Tftc
Sebastbat took Jack and myself for a long drive... and we ended up at your cache
Quite surprised at how busy the major roads were, so got off the beaten track whenever we could
Seems the further north we went the more we wanted to go north, but all good things must come to an end sadly, so eventually we went home again! But we might just do it all again tomorrow
Indeed an interesting location sprinkled with fun historical facts and reminders of days gone by.
Thanks for putting it out there Pixel_James

Wherever we go caches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
Now our borders are open - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Found on our way home from a trip to Crystal Brook and Port Pirie with Team Waldron for a long weekend. Unlike the previous two days of low cloud and rain, the day opened up with clear blue skies, temperature in the low 20's, and light winds. Perfect for caching on our travels back to Adelaide via Port Broughton, Tickera, Wallaroo, Moonta, Kadina, Balaklava and Mallala. Thanks for the cache BrettnJames!
Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending 2 weeks in Port Pirie, today we headed further afield and enjoyed the drive amongst all the green crops. Looks like a good harvest up here. [^]

gridge98 suggested a day out North caching I wasn't going to say no, now, was I[?]
A long hot day followed and by day's end, with 39 caches found and 3 DNFs too, I was really disappointed that the longed for fish and chips tea at Port Pirie didn't eventuate because the Used2B church that is now a fish and chip shop[:X] was closed for their annual leave
Had a great day and I even got to meet BBB at his letterbox cache
Thanks to all the CO's for the dirt roads, scenic views[:X][^] and historical sites that were enjoyed[^][^]

Today I headed out with Locus Cache from lochiel towards port Pirie finding cache on each side of the highway and the back roads and clearing the area as we went. Although the weather was rather warm total of 39 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Today we went further west. We were able to search for and find one or the other geocache again. The highlight was GC178, a geocache that is still needed for the Jasmer Challange. But ALSO GC997 was searched and found. Thank you to the owners for laying and maintaining the cans.
TFTC nice find quick walk in walk out was quicker than in as a 6ft red belly black snake near gz
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Today we are heading the massive distance from Crystal Brook to Port Broughton. It is raining - again, so we did not stop off too often, but there was an opportunity for coffee and cache and a walk in the forest.
Got to love an historical cache. Thanks BrettnJames

Tftc. Left a path tag. Not at location though but you can find as my mum did if you follow the clue.
Taking muggle sister and a friend to Laura and caching along the way on a beautiful spring day, great to see the sun again.
Had a nice walk to GZ and saw remnants of buildings on my walk.
Found the cache right where my GPSr pointed. [^]

A quick drive with Stavros and sharkbait to grab the required cache for the souvenir. Grabbed this nearby cache which gave us all a good giggle, TFTC
Found after a short walk through the scrub looking at the old signs. We both had a good laugh at the sign at GZ. Tftc
Lovely day for a stroll around the bush with Budgie23. Found the cache - the Shingleback (Sleepy) lizard is still over wintering in there and didn't take much notice of us. We wondered if it was the one we released around there after fixing her up following a dog attack. 'Our Lizzie' has an obvious scar but we didn't want to wake her up to look.Left a trinket or two, took nothing. TFTC.
First time this trip we have camped with phone reception and a geocache nearby - great. Found without too much difficulty by the junior Okysmates without any help. Sleeping beauty still there

Sad moment, remembering the heart wrenching moment of complete nothingness!!! Lol. Wandered around the old school site too. Our school classroom was once here. TFTC
We found 'Good Ol' School Days' just over nine years ago, so it was nice to return and see the area still in good condition. It was great to explore a little deeper into this place, and learn a bit more history.
As I approached GZ, I thought I could see a genuine headstone, and was very impressed and amused upon reaching it. It's good to see places commemorated where some slightly-less-than-monumental events occurred.
Thanks BrettnJames.

Bush was filled with dozens and dozens if little white butterflies! TNLN TFTC. Take the dirt road - shorter walk thru flies.
While staying in Wallaroo we headed towards Port Pirie in the hope of getting an FTF. We were lucky enough to be successful with that and decided to continue caching around the area
After enjoyng lunch and a history lesson in the nearby picnic area we continued on to this one, checking out the odd bits of rusty metal, foundations etc. lyng around in the scrub. Another Conservation Park that we didn't know existed except for caching
Many thanks for the hide BrettnJames[^]

Cache found and log signed on a day trip from Port Broughton in the cool of the vehicle aircond. Many thanks for the cache.
Pleasant walk although summer must be close as the flies are around yet it's only warm. TFTC
A short walk in from the track. Whoever left the lollypop, thanks it was nice. Remember cachers no foodstuffs in caches.

From the nearby skool, I wandered off across the grounds to find this cache
'Bout now I started to realise just how hot the day had become [:o]
So this cache was going to be found in under 5 minutes .... or I was headed back to the geomobile for a cold drink
The cache turned up in the first place I looked !!!!
Hang on !!! Isn't that in complete contradiction to the cache's camo ?? [:o)]
Well I guess it is [^]
My laughing made me forget the heat and flies for a while
TFTC ... a fave point for silliness !!
