This cache took a little more effort to find than the others in this series but I got there in the end. TFTC
TaurusSix and I have started our Easter holiday a day early, making Thurs our first official Easter holiday day. We are heading to Pemberton and basing ourselves there for four nights while we explore the region and everything it has to offer and of course fitting in as much geocaching as practical along the way, whilst still doing lots of other things too. We love the autumn weather and there is always something special about an Easter get away.

Day three has been jam packed, we just love this area there is so much to see and do. First up we headed into Pemberton to place some new caches, we found some ideal spots that we thought would add to the existing hides of the area, they will be coming out shortly. After a lovely brunch in town we commenced the Adventure Lab there before heading out to the Gloucester Tree. Wow it was busy out there at one stage we counted over 40 people on the tree at the same time with many more waiting to join. We did a couple of the short walks there as well as collecting a geocache . From there it was onto the Big Brook Dam. Another wonderful area and we walked the full circuit , which was very enjoyable , collecting geocaches and the Ad Lab reference along the way. Then onto the Warren River Cedar area which once again the area was quite stunning . We finally ended up doing the Rainbow Trail , which was another lovely walking track on the outskirts of town.

This was our ninth cache find of the day along with a nearby Adventure Lab. This third cache along the track took longer than it should as the gps was playing up and we could not spot a yellow dot, until we could and then we could not believe we had not seen the yellow dot in the first place. All good in the end though , happy to have cache in hand and all the clues for the bonus cache. Thanks for the cache jacaro44

We have a short holiday at Pemberton, the nature is beautifull. We do the Rainbow trail and later we made a trip at the car to find some other caches. And climbing to the top of the Gloucester tree, for a fantastic view.
Thanks for the caches and greetings from The Netherlands.

A nice quick find while on our scooters, scooting around these wonderful trails in the karri forests.
We have been camping at Pemberton for the week, caching as we go.
These ones have been on our radar since we put a smiley on the other ones in the series back in 2012 - this must be a record for the longest running series to be completed - nearly 10 years from start to finish

We started this series yesterday from the dam. Today we are walking from the caravan park. A nice walk along the track and all caches were found in good condition. Luckily not many bike riders out this morning.
Second find of this series for hunterzed and I. Thanks Jacaro44 for this great series. What a beautiful hike on a lovely sunny day
Found on this lovely trail. Enjoyed the birdsong through here. Dropped trackable here to continue its travels. Tftc
We have just completed an annual maintenance visit to these caches. New Logbooks, pencil, sharpeners and some children swoop items. Containers dried out and ready to receive visitors. Please replace cache container in upright position (lid uppermost) where possible. Enjoy your visit to Beautiful Pemberton.
Quick find by me with SAWRT. Previous finders comments helped as no tiger eyes to be seen. Tftc
GPS accuracy is sketchy here.
No tiger eyes. A few metres off the track but relatively easy bush bashing.

Last cache of the Rainbow series before the finale. Spotted a large karri tree close by which appeared to have a large crack at the base. I thought to myself, that I hope noone is around when that tree topples over. Imagine my surprise when I read on FB that night that a large karri tree had fallen over and blocked the Rainbow trail that day. I'll never know for sure if it was that tree that tumbled, but it is a good reminder of the dangers out there. Found with Panda Dundee. TFTC ️
Didnt spot the yellow dot but had cache in hand quickly with Minergal TFTC! Now to solve the mystery!
A good walk to find DE&F while the kids and grandchildren where on the tramway. TFTC
Definitely pays to follow the geo trail and not the co ords on this one. After fighting my way into the bush and finding nothing, read some previous logs and realised you can get it from the track! Soon had cache in hand! TFTC
Lovely day for geocaching- enjoyed the scene and thanks for the cache and hide
Loved this series of caches , the hints were great, well made containers & Picturesque walk. During our weekend getaway in pemberton. SL TFTC jacaro44
Thanks for this nice cache here and my number 4794.

A quick find... luckily we were looking out for it... saw it from the track, but didn’t see any yellow tigers eyes.
GPSr was 15 m out, but dense tree cover.
Continuing on Bibblemun and end at Pemberton... dreaming about pub meal and a good wine.

I wish my dog was here to enjoy this (tippydog)
Unfortunately she was s little too far gone so we had to put her down. We even made the vet cry. I look forward to the day where humans can end their own suffering at their will, no one elses.
A bit deep isn’t it? That’s what lovely solitude gets you on a beeyouteeful day out caching with the essence of my best friend for 16 years.
Heard a funny old guy in the park tell someone that he thought he had “one dog left in him”!

After a week in Nannup it was time to hit the trail again. We were heading for Manjimup but at the last minute changed our mind and headed to Pemberton.
This morning after a 11hour sleep we had a looksee for nearby caches and tada there was a few.
Headed out at 11.00am with lunch packed to see what we could find. Magnificent day in Karri country.

Out on the bike today. Doing a few more finds. This one took me longer than it should have. Some days the geo senses are out a bit. Thanks jacaro44 for yet another hide.
I went for a walk this morning and found three of the 6 caches of the Rainbow Ramble.
This afternoon I’ll be going to the dam and will search for the other 3. The final is then the next one on the list.

Another find while walking around the Pemberton area this morning. That's the last clue found in this series for me. TFTC
Found while having a few days R&R . Walking the Bibbulmun track on our way to Albany. Thankyou for the cache.
Out on a 4-day south west exploration with Cravo10 with the eventual goal of meeting up for a group assault on the Top on Hop in Walpole Nornalup National Park.
Day 4 saw us leaving Pemberton heading to Walpole via some back roads and a lovely detour to Windy Harbour.
We completed the rainbow trail around Pemberton first thing which was a lovely set of walks including all the caches at Big Brook Dam before heading down to Lake Yeagerup to grab the two caches down there.
We continued to Northcliffe with an unfortunate DNF there before moving down to the highlight of the day which was the location of Windy Harbour, an absolute picturesque place with some great sights the highlight would be their "natures window" which was simply awesome.
We continued along from Windy Harbour to Walpole where we completed all the caches around town and the surrounding before having a final walk upon dusk to Fire Lookout at Mount Frankland, which was absolutely stunning and a great way to finish the day.
Thanks to the local COs for their caches.
Have YOU logged your "will attend" to this years WA Goes BIG Event in Dunsborough on 13-14th October at the Naturaliste Community Centre.
Log your WILL ATTEND now on GC7GXQA and I look forward to seeing you there

A Southwest escape again with Barnzy12 starting in Perth heading to Margaret river via Dunsborough yallingup and down the coast road.
Day two had us visiting Augusta to Pemberton with a great drive through heartbreak track with stunning Karri Forrest.
Day three was spend visiting Windy Harbour ... living up to its name and then through to Walpole where an epic walk up GC18W4D fire lookout ended the day.
Day four was to be spent walking through Walpole-Nornalup National Park to complete the Hop on Top walk and series of 7 geocaches. A great walk spend with a team of others.
The day ended with a huge drive back to Perth ready for a day of work on Monday.
During the 4 day adventure plenty of caches found around 90 with a good range of types and container sizes. Some great photos and memories to take away.
jacaro44 I found your cache Rainbow Ramble D thanks for placing this hide for myself and others to find.

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Spending a couple of days in Pemberton, I chose to explore the Bibbulman & had a great walk from Big Brook Dam into town... My feet were starting to get a little tired so I was happy to have a cache to find to boost my enthusiasm! Another quick find here [^]

Thanks for the cache. Out today completing some of the rainbow ramble series. Found all caches in good condition double bagged and containered. Appreciative of the reflective makers that made finding the containers in the dense undergrowth.
Working in pemby for the week and finally have the chance to tick off some smileys in the area TFTC
Found after short search, thank you.
Unfortunately we were unable to complete all in this series and go for the bonus.

During our 4-week trip through Western Australia we had a great time there and we also found a couple of caches along the route. We stopped here too to search and grab this caches. Fabulous area and well worth a visit. Very nice and beautiful geocaching site. Thanks for hiding this cache in this stunning area and greetings from Germany!

Great walk, great series. I was very surprised and disappointed to have to pour over half a cup of water from each of three of the cache containers. Thankfully all of the log containers were dry. TFTC
Set out from the caravan park this morning on foot to find a few caches nearby. The few caches turned into a run to find all the caches in this series, a trip of about 15km. I had run to 'A' and decided to run around Big Brook Dam. I found all the caches quickly and returned back at the caravan park needing to still find the final cache, which I did soon after.
A great place for a walk (or run) and I recommend completing the whole way to the dam.
Thanks for the series and easy finds.

This Rainbow Ramble was an adventure for the whole family. All easy finds but getting between them was exciting to say the least. Mr O. and geokid1 went by bike between D and C (which is a lot further than it looks), while Mrs. O. and geokid2 walked back from D to the car near F and attempted to drive round to C. That was the plan but it didn't quite work out due to fallen trees, no entry signs, roads closed, bridges closed, a poor choice of shortcuts and flat phone batteries! All's well that ends well but suffice to say, doing all 6 in one go cannot be done by car. By bike is fine but strenuous. Very peaceful through the forests and the dam looked magnificent. Thanks for the series!
TFTC.17.00. From Perth to Melbourne is our last vacation journey in Australia, along this route, we look for caches. Greetings from the Netherlands
Conducted a maintenance run on all of our caches in the area today. All caches are now good to go and awaiting next visitors.
Enjoy visiting this lovely part of WA.

Last one found! We are exhausted . However we were rewarded by the sighting of a little rat sized mammal running up a tree into a hole, then coming out and down again. Must find out what it was. Now for the final!
Camping near by at Big Brook, continued on with the next part of this series.
Was a quick find once at GZ, signed the log and replaced.
The hints made a good hunt for the geokids who loved this series.
Many of this series had wet outer containers, and swappables inside were rusting.
The logs inside the inner container were also damp. I think from sitting in wet containers themselves.
Love the series though.

This series was tackled on my mountain bike, the furthest cache was 4.4km from the caravan park but I finished up adding 15km to the speedo on an interesting ride.
Thanks for the cache and series jacaro44.
