Were taking a trip to Vic and caches along the way. At Gz the container and contents soaked. We put in a new container inside the old one with a log sheet. Dropped off a tb also.Love the area.TFTC
A lovely drive and walk in. Sadly the container has got full of water and the logbook is unsignable. Please fix this up as it is a magnificent spot!!!TFTC.
This kind of cache is exactly why I love geocaching! Even with my wealth of maps, I wouldve driven straight past this absolutely divine spot without this cache! Thanks so very much for sharing!!!
Cache hasnt been found since 2021- challenge accepted!!! We are on our way home to Melbourne from the Mega in Canberra and are spending some time down the east coast. We decided to camp about 500m away last night and set out to find this cache this morning. We went in blind as we had no service, we looked under what felt like every rock, between every crack and were about to leave when Snail got one bar of service. I read a few logs and the hint, not a whole lot of help other than the fact that the hint is no longer useful a fellow cacher wrote and within minutes we had the cache! Thankyou for bringing us to a beautiful spot we would of never of known about unless it was for caching. The cache itself is pretty wet and worn out but we still managed to get our name on there. Signed T+S. FP for the beautiful spot
Getting about down south, Ive noticed this a couple of times, but recent wet periods enticed me to pay a visit. Seems the locals did too, so I headed up stream a little further to find a bath to myself. Waiting out the rain in the pools, I attampted to keep the cache dry, but it was very wet long before I got to it. TFTC!!!
Decided to challenge ourselves and do some geocaching in the dark with the kids.
Interesting experience!
The hint is no longer relevant as the pine tree has been cut down.

Made it in a 2WD. Parked on Broadwater Rd and walked down the dirt road to the cache. Stunning location!! Thanks for putting a cache here
Great spot, 2nd for the day. It’s amazing to see how fast the river flows after some rain.
Thanks djhoffy.
Thanks djhoffy.
This is why we love geocaching. This is such a magical spot we would never have found without a cache being hidden here.
The track to the cache seemed very narrow so we left the car on Broadwater Road and walked the 300-400 metres to the cache. The track was steep in spots and I think we would have got a few pinstripes on the vehicle if we had driven down.
If you do choose to drive in I would recommend only in high clearance 4WD but there is plenty of room to turn around at the bottom.

Wasn’t sure about the trail leading to the cache, but turns out we’d have been fine. Anyway, it was a nice little wander downt I the cache. Great spot! Fav point for bringing us here! Tftc
So we headed out today to see if we could get to this cache. Driving down a dirt road we thought this was all too easy. What a bloody tree in the middle of the road, gonna have to turn around. Checking out any other viable ways we decided to get trusty hema app. With Mrs. kalianda09 navigating (which is never a sure thing) we found a fire trail. The trail was looking alright to start with then required a bit of walking prior to driving clearing a few branches and sharper rocks. We got to the parking coordinates and started our walk. Arriving we found quite a picturesque area. Luckily we remembered what we were there for an signed the log an took a few snaps. Thanks sapphcoast for our little off road trek.
Seriously worth the effort. We went down the Yowaka Trail. Serious 4wd track that joined Casey's Track . The track to the cache is easy but you can expect your panels to get scratched. We walked it. Fantastic water falls. TFTC. TNLN. DMBM & SHOKKO
Did a stop at the CP & checked the track, no go. Headed to Caseys Trail glad we had the old 4x4 wouldn't want to take a good vehicle in there. Drove right to the cache. Fantastic spot thanks for bringing us here.
Wanted to see this since I have visited the area many times but never been down this way. Maybe not the best decision to set off in a hire car on a non-mobile reception area on a bumpy dirt road but what the heck. Great location, Tftc
Perfect day to revisit the cascades and rescue a familiar travelbug. This ones coming to south australia with us.
What a lovely spot for a dip (tho' we didn't). I took a geocoin and left a TB. Thanks sapphcoast.
Told the youngest to put her L plates on for a drive then grabbed the Bro-n-law who's camped at Boyd Town for 40+years and didn't know about the Cascades. Arrived at parking area and followed the track into the bush. Found the cache dropped a TB and explored the area.
Thanks sapphcoast for showing us this hidden treasure.

Made good use of the 4x4 to get in here - the trip was well worth it! How fabulous was it here! We came here rather late in the day and wished we'd come earlier as we'd have had a swim. This was a favourite, thanks so much for putting a cache here.
Well we have now finally found this cache after a couple of attempts. Could never find the trail so this time used the parking coordinate in the handheld gps and now we have seen the beauty of another bush cache
We decided to get this one on the spur of the moment as our last cache of the day. Halfway through the drive to GZ we were starting to doubt our descision as sundown was approaching quickly. Luckily the sun held out and we found the cache no probs. Really impressive area, thanks for bringing us here. Our timing was perfect and we were back on the highway just as it got dark.

Found while on my regualar holiday down in Merimbula, but where do I start, well due to a mixup with me not finding the CP on my GPS, not that I think I looked too hard but I remember the description mentioning the Picnic area so the convoy of 3 cars Parked there and it was only a bit over 400m away and we decided just to follow the river up stream, how hard could that be.. well as it turned out quiet a bit harder than expect as the trail soon got pretty well non-existance but everyone seem to be happy to fight there way through the scrub and clamber up and over some rocks, which too a good while to get to the GZ , about 40 minutes or more, with a few breaks for photo opps. including the area jsut before the Cascades , it was fanastic probably because we'd earnt it.
well much to my relef we made it and no one complained another adventure brought to you by geocaching.
thanks for the adventure...

Coast Jan 2013. This spot was fantastic. I took a creative route in to get it, but the 4wd was up to the river crossing track. It all added to the fun. I did walk down from the caseys trail intersection as it was a bit narrow for my car. I am sure people have a great time swimming around here. Thanks.

Magic location our cruiser got a bit scratched on the last leg but well worth the effort TFTC
We worked very hard to visit the 3 cache's on the river. I ran in to this cache as the sun was setting, mostly to collect the TB that was here. My Suzuki would fit along this track - this place would be a great place to spend the day in summer. We tried walking in from the top - we made it to within about 400 metres before the track dissappeared - we did see an awesome frog as we walked along the dry section of the streambed. It had a very bright red on the inside of its legs.
What a gorgeous location... Thanks for bringing me out here... SLTN... Left TB... TFTC...
My very first cache. Thanks to sapphcoast for the introduction to Geocache. Lntn.u
Had some trouble locating this one. Very challenging as I came in from the wrong side of the river. Didn't get wet. Left badge TN. Some new exploration for me in this area.
Yippee FTF. Thanks for the early morning exercise. Geodogs loved the offlead area. How do you find these places . At first we thought the cache would be near the picnic area and to our horror it was full of muggles camping, greatly relieved that this didn't stop our venture today. Thanks for another great local cache Sapphcoast. TNLN
