Did have a chat with the owner of the dog that was barking haha didn't have an idea what we were doing haha
You can still get to GZ. it is a drain between two backyards. I searched but gave up when a dog one of the neighbouring houses started barking
This is nothing like the original pix when the log was first hidden, the bottom of the rocky area is now well vegetated, there are houses both sides of the fence, lots of workmen around and a big arse dog with a loud bark lives on the other side of the fence. I was creating too much attention, so let it go this time around.
Attempt to replace the log was muggled.
MattCNS will try again next time in the area.

Pretty certain that's where it's meant to be some bastard has stolen it not happy
What tha? exactly that questions we were asking ourselves when we looked at said structure and we couldn't work out what it is meant to be or meant to do. lucky enough though we found the cache very quickly. tftc
It was harder to get to the cache than it was to find it. Going down was even tougher but a good pair of shoes were a huge help. Very fun though.
The name says it all. WTF is it really.
It's a good place to hide a cache, that's for sure.
Took a little while to find this one but soon had the prize in hand. I had glanced over the hide on the initial look and was surprise to find it while looking in the same spot again.

Did it in the dark and it was no where to be seen. I think it might have been knocked over :/

geoP flying solo again today after geoD had to remain home with some tradies. This one was hiding in plain sight so was a quick find allowing plenty of time to admire the views.
Log book will need replacing soon.

This was our second attempt to grab this cache. A house is currently being built very close to the GZ. So Muggle activity is at a high level. Went past the GZ earlier this morning and again in was a no go zone. Passing back through a little later and the place was deserted! All the builders had gone for lunch. We took the opportunity to swoop in and grab this cache while we could. TFTC SL {#293}.

A quick find with RobS72. I think that this is a floodway in case of catastrophic failure of the water tank above with the stormwater pipes at the top are for a minor leak. TFTC.
North Qld 2013. Day 10, the second full day in Townsville. There are always odd things around water prone areas, some of the hills in Canberra have huge moats and flow ways for big storms. I had to wait for the neighbors to load into the car and head off before looking with gusto, but I eventually got my head in the right direction and found this one. Thanks.

Found at 3:51 PM in the company of The Drovers GAFF5. No idea either. It looks like some used to drive up here otherwise why the big boulder barrier?
We were in big trouble with so many hiding spots, but after looking at the hint, it sorted that bit out .
Thanks Champs2Monkeys.

Our second day out caching with pprass.
Hubby wanted to take the Geo-cruiser up the trail, but we choose to walk.
With a systematical search of the area, the cache was soon found.
Thanks for the cache, Champs2Monkeys.

Youngest geo ferrets spotted this one. Older geo ferret started off to it and leaped back yelping from a paper wasp sting. Signed the critter and moved back down to put the ferrets mind at ease. TFTC
Had a fun time looking for this one. Here or here or here? Woohoo found it and the wasp found me!! Better me than the Reluctant Companion as he is allergic to bites. Thanks for a great little hide. Then we drove around the new roads opened up in the area. That is what the RC comes for. TFTC.
TFTC Champs2Monkeys. Found with Bob while out on this fine St. Patricks Day. SL TN LN and RTC. You ask what tha? We think it is a leprecaun's easement possibly where Locke Ness now hides in fear of recognition or extinction
Another quick grab, by the 13yr old.

What tha[?] indeed! Very odd. But a beautiful breeze at the top. We admired the prominent queensland on the way past. Loki had temporary blindness at this cache but Pagan had his glasses on . Thanks Champs2Monkeys
I have worked out what this place "What tha?" is for........it has been built specially to hide a nano cache of course! We soon had the price and the log signed, TNLN, TFTC
Umm this is an interesting spot. I can only think it was a natural water way that was further developed before the road way how ever we may never know lol TFTC nice hide !
We agree....there is no apparent reason for this. Maddy thinks it's a surveyors error where two backyards don't line up.

Bit of an adventure at night but nothing like a challenge! Tried to sign log but couldn't manage to extract it! Tftc
An interesting structure that's for sure. Nice climb and a quick find thanks to the hint. Also a handy log signing desk was close by!
Thanks.
Thanks.
I arrived at GZ today and figured I'd need the clue on this one. After deciphering the clue I breathed a sigh of relief and headed off for an easy find. Thanks for the cache. took nothing, left nothing, signed log and dipped a coin I've been carting around for ages.
What tha? Exactly.....What tha?
I think it may have been a stormwater run off before the road above was built.
Now it's just a crazy looking alleyway to nowhere!
P.S. Those rocks are sharp.
Cheers and happy caching.

Summer'skoby mentione that the co-ords were out. Despite taking over 60 samples that night, my phone was extremely flat at the time, and it would appear that this has effected the result.
New co-ords are the result of over a hundred samples, and accuste to 0.9m

we've got some pretty valid theories but...... what tha? geodad was doing the overthink aimlessly searching gz, luckily geomum put on the common sense hat and we were in business!!! [^] sl. tenth cache eh c+2m, nice job , let's have another ten!!! we still have the honour of OTF and OTL on teale's top of the world TFT10C. FTF
Found today on a little trip to grab all the new caches now we have a chance. Coords were easily close enough for us to make the find with minimal effort. Psilonette grabbed this one from a rocky ledge while Psilonike poked at some suspect looking nests with a stick. He felt silly while signing the log. TFTC and congrats on 10 hides!
Looks like I'm the first one to log this one, but of course summer'skoby has been here before. Did anyone expect anything else?
Nice view if you park on the hill side of the "whatever it is" where the cache is
TFTC
PS: For me the coords were about 10m out, used the hint. At GZ my GPS showed S19*19.498 E146*44.651
