Cache seems to have fallen out of place and is impossible to reach.

No, it hasn't fallen away, that's not how it was hidden. But the container has gone. And will be very difficult to replace. I might re-use this area, so lets archive it now.

Night time is a good time to be doing this one I reckon! Parked right near GZ and a quick wander showed us roughly where to be looking - A bit of experience then gave us a strong clue so it wasn't long til we had the well constructed cache in hand. As always, iamapom excels with his engineering...

2nd find for the night. We are getting good at this!

A busy little area today around 11.20 am when we found the stash.
Very clever and appreciated the workmanship which has gone into the hide.

Thanks to the Iamapom team for another quality hide.

Was a few drunk muggles around the carpark but after giving them a chance to clear the cache was soon found TFTC

05-May-13
Talk about a drive by.... We waited a few moments in the car for some muggles to move on. Jumped out grabbed the cache and back into the the car in about 3seconds! Signed the log in the car and place the cache back.

Found @ 4:21am, find # 2209
After the 3am WWFM event I hung around the area to find a few more caches, this was one of them.
I was able to park right next to GZ, I was out of the car and had the cache in hand in less than 10 seconds.
This is a great time for caching.
Thanks to iamapom for this cache and all the caching fun.

I'd previous located this cache but been unable to log it due to extreme muggle activities. This morning I was determined to finally clear it off my to-do list. After the WWFM X event and a few other of your Northcote caches I took the detour back north to have a third? and final go. This time, the place was quiet - although amazingly still not muggle-free - and I had no trouble grabbing the cache and logging it in the safety and comfort of my car. The log scrolls were both full so I added a page from my notepad so I could log it and to keep it going for a while. TFTC

Found just before going across to your nearby WWFM X Event. Not a soul around at 2:30 am, so no distractions locating the well-crafted hide. My scrawl will hardly be legible amongst the other crowd, but it's there. T4TC iamapom!

I am going to count this one as a find for the 13th though my gps was saying that it was actually found just after midnight on the 14th but since it was within 5 minutes of midnight by the time I had signed the log and returned to the car I am going to call the gps as having the wrong time! Very quick find after having a few DNFs with local caches and battling with the rain. Very clever cache. Signed log but didn't swap anything today.

Thanks for the cache iamapom.

A very easy find - I've seen one exactly like this before. Cheers for the cache and the trivia!

Grabbed about 9 caches on a post awards event run with Sir J Oz.. This was the second in the run and the first of the trads.. Thanks I am a pom.. and easy grab, however we had to time it to perfection to avoid the gaze of many a passing muggle.. Find ##3457 Thanks for the cache

Found @ 16:50 with Spladem. After a fantastic event at lunch, we met up with a group to knock off a tree climb (which I'd already completed). Once that was done we set out to find a few more caches.
This one was relatively close by and a quick find to get the ball rolling.
Lots of muggles about, but none seemed interested in our presence.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache iamapom.

What a great little hide. I'm at this shopping centre at least a couple of times each week and it was right in front of me the whole time. Thanks for the cache!

i found quite interesting the lengths that "C" has gone to to stop competition with "W". I did notice that "A" has managed a bit of an incursion into the area. Take that, "C"!!
The find was made quickly with an "oh of course" moment, and the oblivious shoppers made logging a breeze. Great hide!
After logging, I wandered into the centre to see just how far apart they are (not far at all) and purchased a vietnamese pork roll (delicious). Thanks for the cache.

A quick find as the masses completely ignored me.
A great hide! TFTC.

05-Jan-13
Well if it isn't the most ironic find of the day.
First of all we've got two (hundred), thats right we now have two hundred caches (celebrates away from muggles with happy dance)
Also ironically, my hometown is just building it's second W store in the same shopping centre. AND Karingal, closer to where I study has had two W stores for well over 10 years! It's amazing to actually find a centre with two C stores, but we weren't actually that surprised to discover they exist as well! A very quick find for us (finally we can go home!) tonight with the cache found in excellent condition. TFTC

Found this one togther with a swag of others on a beautiful Summer's day!
Must have picked a good day and time to retrieve this one as the carpark was fairly quite.
At first I was a little perplexed on finding this one, but after a few gueses and a re-read of the clue, had the cache in hand and logged it.
I almost lost one of the logs as the wind blew it away, so I had to chase it around before re-caputuring it.

On a nice night, after checking out some Christmas lights in Northcote we decide to collect some caches while in the area. We finally worked out how to get into the car park and made our way to GZ. GeoSon had a quick look around and failed to find it. Geo Daughter got out of the car and found in seconds. She has a knack for finding the cache like a sonar radar. Great hiding spot. TFTC iamapom once again.

It was quite busy here, so I didn't think that I would even have a chance to look for it. Talked on the phone and then rustled through my bag, spotting what looked like a likely hiding spot. Thankfully it turned out to be it. Thanks for the cache.

Easy find today. We must've picked a good time for muggle activity as only a few cars drove past while grabbing, signing and replacing the cache. TFTC iamapom.

Not surprised by the commercial tactics of the local supermarket. Makes sense if you can do it.

Find # 2135

Today I was out again with my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave. Today would be a shorter caching run due to me not feeling so great, but I still needed to get out for a bit of fresh air and exercise. We were headed for the Northcote and Westgarth area.

Parked at the library and realized the cache here was not yet open, so we made our way on foot towards this one. We did a bit of a search and soon enough Dave yelled out "Found It" a very well camoed cache once again.

Thanks to iamapom for the cache. TNLN.

Found @0941 #1980
Out on a Saturday morning caching run with best buddy ahomburg with today's plan to tackle the caches in the Northcote Thornbury region before the forecast rain arrives. Was keen for some numbers today to push closer to the elusive 2000 milestone that was almost in my grasp.

Attempted this one while waiting for the library to open near by. On approach and at GZ had to go into ninja mode so to not draw any unwanted attention and with luck the cache was found quickly, very nice. With the cache now complete it was now time for a coffee.Razz TFTC iamapom, another of yours found today.

1.50 1.05 On the road with Mrs 80 degrees having a girlie cacheing afternoon. Its a real support day with some we both need to do and so some one of needs to do. This one is for me, I thought, until I got there and realised that I had already done it. Thought I would check it out, could not find my name so signed it off again. Gutsy hide as this space would get very very busy.
Thanks iamapom

A very busy carpark at lunchtime here, but once again great co-ords, a quick look, and an ahah moment allowed me to grab this on the run, wander into the shopping centre to buy some lunch, sign the log, and replace it without losing step on the way back to the car.
A very cleverly made hide, and a nice theme for a cache, thanks again Carl

Nice one! thanks for the effort gone to with this one. co-ordinates were accurate and it was an exciting find. the rain did help keep the muggles away. TFTC

Continuing on our 2012 Geosportz caching arvo, we skipped any caches that had most recent logs as DNF's as we were starting to run out of time, so this cache was next on our list and will form part of the Decathlon (finding 10 caches over 2 consecutive days). GMelb's Mum's local shopping centre has 2 of the same brand supermarket too - this time the "other one" lol

As I rolled out of the laneway, the carpark was awash with flashing lights: no less than four fire trucks and a police car. Not a lot of frenetic activity was evident, so, ignored, I rolled to GZ, where I managed to guess the hide, much to my pleasant surprise.

By the time I'd signed the log, the parking area was quiet.

iamapom again shows such mastery at crafting cache containers, and interesting placement.

12-May-12
Found your sneaky hide while night caching, streetlamp was helpful as it cast shadow all around GZ. Thinking where the heck could it be, i'll check these and 1st place I put my hand! Some times we get lucky. Someone has partly threaded lid, still intact and water-tight at moment, but had to be v particular to put it on properly. Nice place to hide TFTC 10pm

Its weird having two, but I guess they just want a monopoly on the area.

This was the sixth of about 10 for the day.

My next goal for the day was to clear out the Northcote area. Iamapom hides are always favourites of mine, so Northcote seemed the perfect place to find some more belonging to the one and only pom. I had a feeling I knew what this one would be and I was not let down. Another great hide Mr Pom. The carpark was full today but I managed to find a gap in the muggle activity. The hint made everything a lot easier too. Thanks again iamapom! Big Grin

Found immediately in the company of PrincessDiala. We were discussing why on earth there would be two of the same store here - PD contributed that C had purchased Bi-Lo, and instead of closing the shop just duplicated the existing C store. I suggested that C did not want to vacate the second store, since W would most likely want to move in. Smile TFTC

I'm not sure how many we have in sleepy Gisborne as I always leave the shopping to featherdown. In fact that is where she is now buying the week's worth.
Anyway I was in this carpark today to cache , not shop, and I left with my name in the log.
That's all I set out to do, that's all I did

After accidently staying up until 20 to 6am reading a trashy romance novel, by 3pm in the afternoon is was pretty much useless at work. I headed home, via the Medicare, since it was still open. Given this cache was nearby and I felt a walk would do me good, I headed in, with only my iPhone to guide me (not my usual choice for caching)
On arrival I wasn't sure what to expect, I picked a spot to search and was lucky with my first spot!! Tricky container. There seemed to be a log sheet jammed into the bottom of it, but there is still plenty of room on the one I could get out. Thanks for the cache iamapom.

14-Apr-12
Rode by here on a Saturday afternoon after picking up some parts from one of my favourite bikes shops, Human Powered Cycles............... oops........... should I have just referred to it as H.P.C. ? Smile
I didn't vist either of the C supermarkets (so much choice!) but spent some money at the butchers, bakers and fruiterers before heading out to the GZ. By placing my bike in the right position I was able to unsuspiciously retrieve the nicely hidden cache, sign the log and replace the cache.

Another interesting aspect of local life highlighted by iamapom - many thanks.

I headed out tonight for another huge Monday night cache run with my good mates Blacklegend (Marshy) and Trailrunning (Adrian). The weather was perfect for caching as it was quite warm the whole night and rather balmy as well - tshirt weather all the way. We met at Marshy's base in Ivanhoe and had planned to go to Altona first then make our way across to Warburton but the plans soon changed when a few hours in to our run a bunch of news caches was published. We ended up going for FTF's as well as having a crack at two tricky caches that hadn't been found yet including Alton Beach and Rockin Bridge.

We ended up going to Altona first then to Ringwood then back to Ivanhoe for some FTF's then up to Kinglake and then down to Cockatoo and then up to Lilydale before heading back to Ivanhoe. Dare to say we travelled a few kms but it was worth it with a well earned 6 FTF's for the night.

Our first stop for the night and there were a few muggles about. Adrian suggested a hiding spot when we got to GZ and once the coast was clear found the cache and signed the log. Thanks for the hide.
