I had hoped to be able to find this one next week when I am in Sydney (fly-in fly-out business trip...will have very little caching time) but as the CO hasn't been on-line for over 2 years I guess the prospects of getting this one sorted out are about Nil...
This was my first attempt using Geocaching Intro app. Had ten minutes for a quick look, couldn't see it despite appearing to be right on top of the co-ords. Also confirmed with the photos that it was the right spot. Must have sounded like a bear crashing through the forest, with all those leaves etc underfoot! Will look again.
PandaKeike and I were here for a while but no luck. We'll go for a second try another day!

Had some time to spare tonight before meeting a friend nearby. Felt a little dodgy around GZ, but luckily no one was around. Found without too much trouble. TFTC.

My last stop in the area for the afternoon. Yet again a DNF. I should not have bothered caching today.
Cheers

Ricky Luxury with his keen eye and sense of geocaching failed to find this one even though he looked right at it. Fun cache to find on a Saturday arvo with little people around.
The Rick thought this location was a little sketchy, so sent his young apprentice, Storm man, to do most of the work for him. Great swap as well, the hippo will add something to Ricky Luxury's luxury abode.
18/04/14. 7:01 AM. Cache #1467. Up nice and early for some caching around the Hills; this one was my 2nd of 6, after finding "Beer O'Clock". Parked at the Lodge carpark off Salisbury Rd, walked around the front (Windsor Rd side) and then cut across the dewy lawn to GZ. Like so many before me, I felt rather nervous here, especially as the iPhone was leading me everywhere, including some spots right near the building. I decided to leave the search area and walk around the block so that I could perhaps get a view of a hiding spot from below. Nothing obvious, but I continued to walk around the block, anticlockwise, back to the car to get my Garmin.
On the way, I read logs, and pjmpjm's photo from 2012 gave me an idea of a different area to search. Back to GZ and second time around it was easy. Wow, that took a while! Off to Vehicle Service which was found much, much quicker! TFTC }:)

SPIDERS, SPIDERS, SPIDERS !!! Every where I go lately there are spiders, is it the time of year or something? LOL
Anyway, was in the area doing some work for a client and thought I'd grab this one quickly, the spiders did put me off so I PAF'd to ensure I was in the right spot and soon had CIH.
Had to back out pretty quickly though as the childcare centre next door came out and I received some rather odd looks

Only time for one date filler today and we picked this one. Good coords and look at the photos gave us GZ, GeoWife spotted the hide.

Off to a Christmas Eve party and realised I hadn't found my cache for the day. This one has been a long time on my to do list but I've always been wary of the appropriate time to it. Well today was a very good day as there were very few people about and the building next door was empty. SL #1160 on streak day #537 TFTC
not good to attempt this at lunchtime. too many businesses around and too little excuse to be there. Wasn't sure whether I was on private property of not, was very self conscious for this one... Couldn't perform a thorough search. Parking is restricted nearby too, so had to park elsewhere in the complex.

Glad to tick this one off the list. Actually, Geotooter spotted the cache and retrieved it. Thanks EmLach for the hide.

It’s been just a little too hot for me over the last couple of week to go caching, That and the Geo Dawg still recovering from her Knee operation, She’s undergoing Physio at the moment, She reckons she’ll right to go in a couple of weeks. She can’t wait. So I decided to travel down to Sydney this evening after dark to try to find some caches in the Dural and Castle Hill area’s . Quick find after nearly blinding myself with the nearby spotlight. Nice cache. TFTC

After a visit to the display houses in Kellyville we also visited a nearby mall for some food. As my wife needed to do some shopping I walked out to this nearby cache.
At GZ there were no muggles so after some snooping around I found this well hidden cache.
Thanks and greetings from the Netherlands.

Car at the carwash with a 1 hr wait. Thought i'd go for a nice walk and find this cache. Round and round I went, kicked it by accident. TFTC! =)
Out and about for various shopping with heavy traffic so it was time to have a scan of the area for out daily cache. We picked this one as during week days its a little close to the kindy with lots of eyes about. Today was quiet being the weekend in fact GZ had no muggles around so we could have day a long search but did not need to as we quickly spotted it. We completed the signing and re hid. TFTC
The name of this one made sense as we started wandering around. Glad we chose to do this one today as it came hot on the heels of two DNF's.
Took a little longer to find than it should have. Once we settled down and thought about where we would hide it, it was an easy find. TFTC!
Found with paulmccaffrey in the dark. He helps with reaching through all the nature. Taking a maintenance force business card on a trip to the next cache in search of the north shore
Approached this one from the wrong way then took the long way round. Quick find once I finally got to the spot. TFTC.
Our 6802nd overall find.
I've been here a few times before but not for a while. Quickly grabbed this one but just didn't feel right.
Thanks EmLach for the cache.

Was a bit early for an appt at the spa next door so thought a quick find might be possible. Yay! Found it. No TB though. Now I can relax with one more smiley on the list. TFTC
No action happening here at 7am. Van in for service (yes, New Years Eve), Amazing the business is working a full day. Walked in from main road and followed cacher trail to where I made the find without fuss. Tried to do revision on this cache while walking to it but no one has really given away any clues, that's how we like it. Good hide
I felt a little uneasy as I seemed to be lurking about on private property. Luckily, I made the find quickly in a fairly sheltered position. SL, TFTC
Our last for the day on the way home with laviniac and hubby. Popped into 'the lodge' for a quick find. That it was. Signed log, removed TB and were on our way.
My sisters were invited to party's. I went geocaching instead. Guess who had the most fun!
Ute Dog II LOooVED this cahce. Whilst looking all over she found a bone. SHE was very happy! And then I found the cache and I was verrry happy>
Thanks ACko

#1356- and No 10 for the day- Driving along I missed the carpark entrance so I parked across the road. Ended up walking the length of the building.(Wow, the way people amuse their kids over here!- there's everthing!!!!). The i-phone didn't like being so close to the building. Fter a bit of a look, without luck or an idea where that size could be, I spooted a glint, and there it was. Hadn't expected it there. Thanks
The GPS pointed us too close to private property, as soon as it settled down it was a quick find.
Found this one whils at a 21st in the nearby function room. Unfortunately trod on a dead rat in the process

At first GPS had me all over the place. In the gave GPS the flick and simply stopped and had a look. In time I had the cache in hand, signed log and returned to it's place. TFTC
The gps had us going everywhere so we turned it off. We found a track which went straight to the cache.
The cache was a little exposed so we add some extra camo.
We dropped off the Aussie dragon travel bug and the British Bobby Geocoin.

The GPSr had me wandering down the wrong path to a workman's shed just a little before I spotted the caching tracks off to one side.

Reperio at 1725.
After attending the NSW Geoaching 101 event today, FarmerFrentzen and I filled in the rest of the afternoon finding a few caches around the area. We parked just around the corner and walked around to GZ where we soon spotted the area it would have been better to park in. A short search later and FF came up with the cache. Very nice establishment.

Found with Marcus Vitruvius during a quick run following the Geocaching NSW 101 event.
Now this is a familiar spot, being the location of my sister's wedding some years ago.
This was a classic case of not reading the cache page first but after parking slightly further away we made the walk around the corner to make an easy find.
TNLN and thanks EmLach for the cache.

The previous log put me in the right area and one of the standard hides appeared after a bit of searching. Dropped a frog TB and took the toad. Thanks EmLach

The real problem here is, is it high or is it low? Going by some of the logs we guessed it right and after some wandering about we had CIH. I must say it feels like you are on private property here.
Thanks EmLach.

Followed obvious geotrail and found cache exposed. Signed log and covered up again.
Once correct elevation and parking determined, I still couldn’t locate a suitable hiding spot with a 1 ½ terrain rating for the suggested size without risking a fall. Reverting back to geotrails and frustratingly about to give up, it was accidently stepping on a large branch that flicked up like a rake and disturbed some camo about a metre away that revealed the cache about 6-10 metres out from the arrow’s GZ.
I can see why people feel a bit uneasy when trying to find this cache, and even I did as I tried to find it. I parked underneath and had a short walk up and around to GZ, nobody present so I had a quick peek around. Was about to call a DNF, when I thought to myself "hang on a sec, couldn't be this way ..... could it?" Sure enough I spotted HAL in his hide, slightly exposed, quickly grabbed it and made sure I wasn't spotted. SL TN left an Australian Reptile Park coin with a wombat on the back, then quickly replaced and camo'd up and got outta there quick smart. TFTC Emlach
