Day three caching with pprass.
We decided to do the town area, as we thought there would be a few less muggles.
After a quick search, the cache was uncovered.
Thanks for the cache, insane.cache.posse.

Found at 11:16 AM in the company of The Drovers GAFF5. There were muggles about just before, but as we were performing the deed they all disappeared? Probably thought that we were being weird [:o)]

TFTC! We found this one while the kids played at the park. The sun was setting and the Mossys were out in droves, a quick signature and it was back to the truck.
Cool hide, hardest thing was waiting for muggles to leave gz! They were there on our way to 'nice easy cache' & 'troll bridge 2', but we were lucky on the way back to the family trucksters, so with the coast clear, we went to gz with friends & made the find. TFTC
Found while visiting Townsville for the "Australia WWFM X - The Townsville Cache Jedi Event Cache". TFTC TNLN SL
The little beastie was sitting in there pretty snuggly. Took a littke effort to get it out, but managed in the end. TFTC
#275 a nice easy cache and our second last of 12 for the day...
We got to GZ relatively easily after leaving the troll bridge 2 cache. We looked for it for a short time, but after reading the hint, had it in hand pretty quickly... A nice new cache and a nice new log... still no FTFs though :/
oh well... replaced cache, and moved on... no rest for us, and we moved on quickly...
We took off in the direction of the nice but not so easy cache. this was just the warmup...
Thanks for the cache I.C.P

Found the bird nest in the shrub and a hole in the rock wall about two feet away but no container. May have been muggled or else the bower bird collected the plastic for its nest (lots of plastic visible)
Lots of mozzies today though!

This morning geoson, wife and sister headed off to the cinema and I promptly called off and went caching instead. I simply headed along grabbing caches were I could around the muggles.
After driving along The Strand, I decided to head towards Palendra area before I got the phone call to head back to the apartment.
I hate walking into a park as a lone male when there are so many kids around. Luckily enough there was nobody where I needed to search. My GPSr was pointing to one side, but I soon found the cache on the other. May pay to keep an eye on this one as people have been throwing some rocks around the place and I would hate to see the hide be exposed
Thanks for the cache insane.cache.posse
Cheers

Great memories of a nice easy cache... from this one . I see they have dismantled the awesome old pirate ship playground they used to have here and modernised it somewhat . Plenty of memories of this park. The cache took a bit of searching for but couldn't hide for long. Thanks insane.cache.posse
A nice easy find in the people's place! Also the bower birds place with a nest only about two foot away. TNLNSL

I found myself in the area today with an hour to kill so it was time to clean up some Palarenda beach caches that have been on the radar for a long time now.
I remember comming here a while ago for a different cache that I had to log a DNF for.
Luckily today the little critter was in the first place I looked.
Cheers ICP and happy caching.

Went to check out a nice easy cache but council muggled had surrounded it. I think I can guess where it is though and decided I'd have a try of this one on a nice quiet midweek lunchtime. One council muggle nearby but had the place to myself to search. Quick find sl tftc.
We had attempted to locate this cache the day before, but the nearby amenities were populated with muggles so we returned early today. With no one around we quickly located the cache hide.
Thanks ICP. Cache and contents are in good condition.

This was our 5th cache in our caching run today - and we found it at around 13:42.
(So this is our 4771st total find.)
Found the cache after some searching and GPS wandering. We noted the maintenance log by the owner way back in July, but we guess they won't be really happy to discover that there was no log in the cache. As we didn't have any paper, we resorted to using the back of our business card to write our log.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
Thanks insane.cache.posse for the hunt today.

we have placed a new log and pencil in the cache. someone stole the bison tube from inside which held the log nice and dry. seems odd that a muggle would find the cache, steal the bison and then rehide the camo.
Found it - after avoiding a few muggles. TNLN TFTC. By the way there was no log in the cache it was entirely empty so I left a signed piece of paper.
When I arrived here I saw a large area of the park fenced off as the council are doing repairs here. I was hoping that the cache wasnt included in the fenced area and nope found it outside the fenced area. TFTC.
This cache was an adventure. 1st attempt to get cache and yep muggler at GZ search abandoned. 2nd attempt and bear made the find. Nice hide !! Went to the car had a drink when a car pulls up behind us ( it's about 10pm ) we thought its some dodgy people we started the car when red and blue flashing lights came on. Yes it was undercover police making sure we aren't dodgy and warning us it's not a fafe place at night, we managed to talk our way out of it with out mentioning caching and once they left we realized bear still had his head torch around his neck which could of raised suspicion. Anyway great cache thanks TNLN
what a marathon to get this one. First trip this morning muggles sitting at GZ. Second trip today Identified the spot but foiled again.
Third time lucky way was clear to make the grab. Sl tnln tftc and another great hide.

After doing the hill and finding the Tiandra cache I decided to check if the time was good for this one. And yes - it was, but then my batteries ran out and I was too lazy to go back to the car. With a little bit of cachers sense and some searching I found it anyway . Familiar container

GPS was all over the place and as such meant that we came under some muggle scrutiny for a time. However, we got to a likely spot and Chook spotted the hide. TFTC
Found on April 3rd just before taking a boat to Great Barrier Reef. Left a Canadian flag pin. TFTC.
#113 Returned today, and Big Monkey made the find within a few seconds.
It is amazing the difference it makes when the sky is clear. GPS pointed to the exact spot, unlike last time we were here.
Sad to say, despite the gps jumping about, I did check this spot last time, but didn't see it. I'm blaming the the drizzle.

Did not even start looking for it actually .The muggles at the nearby table had only just settled in for dinner by the looks of it (fish&chips and drinks).
Next time!
Next time!
With the disappointment of three potential FTF which turned out to be just first to logs, we thought we would try to get FTF here instead.
Noticed a lot of trampled bushes and figured we were not the first here, but were in the right area.
Unfortunatly, the gps was jumping about making location of the search area difficult, and then the drizzle developed into a downpour, so we gave up and ran to the car.
