Ready for out IGD road trip. Kapelula, Meme28, I C Nothing and the geokids are all loaded and ready for great weekend of caching. There is much excitement in this car so it should be a big weekend. We after some selected caches this weekend to help towards our challenges then anything else we pass on our travels. All caches were found in good condition. Cache logged as MIK.Tftc
Out with ICNothing Kapelula and the two kids on our Kulin road trip… Sone logs signed as MIK, picking up caches along the way…
Found whilst heading out to Kulin for IGD weekend with I C Nothing and Meme28. Some logs signed as MIK.
With the rain stopping for the day I thought Id race out and continue the Wandoo series today. Blue skies and fresh temps keeping me motivated to do as much as I can for today! The road is nice and quiet today which allows me to drive like a granny between stops. Thanks for placing this series for us to enjoy
Heading towards RLT land and managed to finish off the Wandoo series to Beverley.
The little bird has lost its wings.
TFTC KnC and to Chwiliwr for maintaining them.

TFTC KnC and to Chwiliwr for maintaining them.
Out with Chwiliwr for a maintenance run of his Wandoo caches and also doing some maintenance of these Wandoo caches placed by Keego and Chil. Where it was necessary he replaced containers and/or logs and then I signed the log. All this section is now OK to be found.
Chwiliwr advised that branch micro was attached is now removed so replaced it with a micro in log on ground at same ground zero.
Thanks Keego and Chil for placing these caches for me to find.

I overnighted in York and today I slowly made my way through Beverley and some of the Wandoo series towards Brookton Highway. Nice sunny day for caching but with a strong wind.
The little bird has been freed from its nest. The Shire have cut off all the branches here.

Spent 40 minutes looking but no luck, if it was on a branch over hanging the fence the shire May have cut it down as there has been recent pruning
Spent awhile looking for this cache, but no luck, if was on the corner post that's been filled with expandafoam it is no longer there
Skyryser and I started the series after crossing the Nullarbor on the way back to Perth. Most of the caches were easy finds. Thanks for placing this series and hoping to continue it soon. The_Shredder

Spent the day trying to finish off this series. I was expecting more leaf litter hiding the caches but most were quick finds. Lots of different camos and a few that made me think twice. Only 6 dnfs because of fire or verge clearing. Tftc.
It was a easy and cute find we first looked at the tree but then realised that it was in plain sight. Tftc it's a great way to start our trip.
We had been in the area completing the Wandoo Animal series followed by some of the Wandoo Mineral series until we came to the turning to our long drive home. As I counted my finds for the day I realised that I could beat my PB if I just found a few more caches. It also helped break up the journey.
I almost had a disaster here. When returning the base to the top I dropped it and despite a long search was unable to find it. I went back to the car to get the bottom of my own bison to replace it but found that mine was slightly too wide and wouldn't screw on. Just as we were wondering if we could attach my complete bison to the branch Deryck stood on some leaves and the sun glistened on the original base. I was very relieved and soon had the container back together. This gets a favourite for the guardian and being my 50th find for the day. TFTC

Headed off early to finish of this series with Parkacruz, we managed to only have one dnf and an adventure to try and claim the bonus box. We have learnt that you shouldn't go into the bush after a heavy rain !!!! We also learnt that if a wooden bridge looks slippery, it is. But we had a great day with many laughs.
Out for another fun filled day with Neva2old to finish off the Wandoo series and others in the area, happy to say a smiley was added here TFTC
Thank you! I headed out with papillon367 to finish off this series. The two of us managed to locate most caches without too much trouble, and it was a great day for a drive.
Nice hide, a favorite! Ullyssia and I teamed up for a full day of caching to finish the Wandoo series that we had started in January. We completed the "bird" series and found all the minerals. Most caches were quick finds as the coordinates were spot on. Thank you for the hide and for the series Keego_and_Chil.
The Mountie got his man. 3from three this early day. As I head off to Kokerbin for Earth cache day
Our group started this series on a hot Australia Day, but finally had a chance to come back today to finish the trail of smileys. There are still three to be found, but overall we are happy with efforts! Today's weather was a bit kinder to the group and we had a great time - split into two groups of kids vs adults to see who would have the most finds at the end of the day, and I'm happy to report that us adults won! Thanks for the effort that has gone into creating and maintaining this series!
We began this series with muskcat83 and janssej back on australia day in scorching 41°C! We finally made it back today in 17°C temperatures. Tftc
Monts decided today was a good day for geocaching as he wanted uninterrupted napping, due to keeping me awake most of the night. TFTC Keego_and_Chil

Out caching around the Area.
Had very heavy rain during the early morning.
Thought we would do some of this series on our way home.

A call went out and a plan was hatched to tackle the Wandoo series. Very early this morning we joined forces with WebblyWA to see how we would fair and with the expectation that it would be good to complete at least half the series. We started and just cached, cached and cached finishing 11.5 hours later with 138 finds and the series completed apart from one that is temp disabled. Had a great day and a huge thanks to the CO's and those that maintain the series. Sorry for the mostly generic logs.

January's challenge mission for me was to collect at least 300 caches. Knowing I could get almost half way there with one series, I put out a call to see who would like to join me on an epic WANDOO day and Team Fratra was up for it so plans were made. We met up early collecting the first cache at 6.45am. Completing the series 11 and a half hours later, with No DNFs and only one glitch left on the map of a cache that is currently disabled. My total for the day finished up with a few extras at 140 as darkness, wind and rain set in.
It was a wonderful day and we had great weather for the majority of the day. Massive thanks to the COs and everyone that has put work into maintaining the series.
Cache #54 for the day. TNLN

A big day out with Oshiel and Jjjzellis to finish the bird sequence of the Wandoo series. TFTC This was find number 16 of the day. The cache was in good order.
Another fun find with Just-Lookin while on a 3 week geocaching trip around the Perth area.
We really enjoyed the drive around finding some of the wandoo series of caches.
*Soon found.*

I had an excuse to wander past this cache again today
Last visit was the dreaded DNF !!
Today, after seeing all the finds since May,
I was determined to have a better look
One of the previous cache logs gave me a vital clue
And only seconds after stepping out of the geomobile,
I could see the cache [:o]
Well that was easy [^]
How did I make it seem so hard to find last time ??
Maybe because of where the cache is ??
I just didn't look there !!

Out to complete a few more caches in the Wandoo series today. I thought the weather would catch up with me sometime during the day but I seemed to be lucky and missed all the rain. I found the first cache at 10:46 and the last one at 17:35 before calling it a day. All in all There was sixty three finds and three DNF's, so a fairly successful day. This was find number fourteen for the day and was a fairly quick find Thanks keego and chil for the cache.
Could not find this one ....its according to the last finder over a fence and on farm land...... I live in the area and was not gonna get shot for trespassing
Found on a nice winter’s day with Le Boof, during our second run at this trail. Thanks for getting us out to towns near to Perth that we should visit more often.
Cache is well inside the farm and required us to climb over the fence.

I see Silvereyes a lot back at home in Adelaide.

I could not see this cache today though
The cache is no doubt still in place.
I didn't know it was one of the 'tricky' ones until I read some previous logs just now

Out today to complete the Wandoo series. It has taken us 4 trips so far and today we had a few minerals and birds to go.
It was a great day for it. We loved the variety of containers, types of hides and the great drive through the countryside.
We ended missing a couple of letters, so we still have to work out the bonus box.
Hopped the fence to grab this one. Loved the host!

Due to the +40 heat predicted today, The Wandoo series was highest on the geocaching list. This was due to being mostly park and grab, therefore it was 50/50 between air conditioning and searching.
Had a great day and really enjoyed it with over 100 finds and a couple of DNF's. Thanks for your effort Keego and Chil
After a brief look i noticed the poly on the fence and looked further afield and made the find

pug002 found it. 3/2/2016. TFTC Keego and Chil Tricky has to be a favourite! After reading the logs and saw one of our favourite geocaches has found it and know how his mind works we decided to trust gps's and bingo! How did we not see it before?
Decided to try my first extended run on a "power-trail" and chose the Wandoo Birds to see how I went. Wouldn't have found it except for a hint from Thejman82's previous log. I thought it was a no-no to have to jump fences into private property? TNLNSL TFTC K&C
Dnf today. We are aiming to complete westdale rd before heading home. Who knows. Might have better lucky this afternoon!
Another one. I think I am looking at the clock to much. I will have to come crack to finish these.
With a week touring around Perth, some time obviously had to be made for caching out here on the west coast. I started the day off slowly today with some short hikes, and then by lunchtime had decided to attempt a solo 100-caches-in-day.
I looked here for a loooong time, and after reading old logs realized I would have to do what I thought I wouldn't have to do. And only then the hint made sense, obviously .
This was #69 of 105 today (DNFs = 1 so far).
Thanks for placing this cache, Keego and Chil, and thanks to all the COs who set out the Wandoo series.

A lovely (but warm) day for a spot of geocaching and introducing another friends to the fun of it. Decided to tackle a chunk of the "birds" leg of this series TFTH
Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
Well I think the civilised way to do this series. M4yb, Me&B and I headed out in the Geoyota Ute for a drive from Yarra Rd to end in York for the night and come home with the others of the series.
Thanks Keego and Chil
Thanks Keego and Chil
At last our return to this great series! We: Me&B, megawat60 and I, together with the GeoUte, had a great week-end of caching doing these. Most caches were found quickly, some took a few more minutes because of clever camo or placement.
My gratitude goes to the CO's of these caches, for all the hard work in planning, placing and maintaining these caches. TFTC K&C!

I teamed up with megawat60 and m4yb (well they let me tag along really!) for a weekend of caching to catch some smilies and finish this series which we had started at the end of last year. The weather was a little damp but we had a warm car to climb back into and seeing the Australian bush wearing her prettiest Spring-carneval-outfit was food for the soul.
All were nice easy finds with some pretty containers in between to keep us interested.
Thanks for the series guys, the effort you all put in is very much appreciated.

Had to hop over the fence to get to this one. Is that a chaffinch hiding there among the leaves?
Spent the day caching with my mini cachers and muggle parents. Easy Find, Mr 6yr old loving these ones, I'm sure it's a day he wont forget as we are aiming to break our record of 12 in a day. Looks like we have with a total of 30 found Dad found this one, thankfully his legs are longer than mine, lol. TFTC
Number 28 for the day with the ValoForce crew for a great days caching. We began here and headed to Beverly. Starting out at 9:30am and cached our hearts out til dark. That didn't stop us finding the last 4 with torches and umbrellas as the rain rolled in. A fantastic series and full credit to the champions who created it!!! A day the kids will always remember and look back on fondly TFTC ValoForce
keen eye needed here and is that a new fence in the way?

A successful day caching with S'n'N to tackle more of the Wandoo series. Great series. Easy find
Two big days of geocaching first we tackled the minerals and then on to the birds we completed all with only one DNF!
I finaly cracked the 500 finds, and signed the logs with my new geocaching name fernweh*

On a mission to make 300 finds for the month of March and what better way to get some numbers than tackle the Wandoo Series. Found the first one around 10:15 and decided to call it quits about six hours later after 59 finds and 2 DNF's. Most were found without too much trouble although there were a few tricky ones thrown in here and there.
Thanks to the CO's for this masterpiece of a series.
Spent a few minutes searching here, read some logs and realised that it had to be over the fence and then spotted it. Jumped over, did the duties and was on my way.
