Heading north with tmann421 Nice quick find hereCould do with some TLCSigned log tmwwNZ TFTC
Bit wet and could use a clean up I think someone left a nappy or incontinence pad?
Log in log condition but actual cache is a little worse for wear, with plenty of snails and waters camped out under there. Found with teamrosenz and Greermae23. TFTC
Passing through Tokoroa today, Found as rattll had described. Quick park n grab trying to be discreet by a fonterra truck. Tftc
A quick find here, but as mentioned previously the cache certainly is not what It was probably intended to be, altho the hub cap does do a nice job of protecting it
I went on a getting lost adventure today with a friend. After following instructions on some random cards we found ourselves in Tokoroa. We stopped and checked out the op shops, found a very cool craft and gift shop and had a bite to eat at a cafe before doing a couple of geocaches. Im not sure if the disguise was planned by the owner of this cache or an impromptu intervention by a previous geocacher but it makes for a great fun disguise so its a pity other caches have mentioned it in their posts. A quick easy find lots of snails paper is still dry and signable. Thankyou for the cache. The voodoo tramp, team Datt and going geocaching 2017 visited this cache.
Heading south, rattll and I took a diversion off the main road to find a few caches in Tokoroa. This was a quick park'n'grab in a quiet area, although no sooner had we stopped then we spotted a lines team working just along the road. Fortunately, we were partially hidden from sight, so were able to grab the cache with a bit of stealth. All good, log dry. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
A quick park and grab, but we did have to be mindful of some worker muggles across the road. The cache is in a pretty sorry state with only the container lid, a log sheet and some rubbish under a hubcap, but at least we could sign the log ok.Thanks for setting this up
Heading home from the Bay and a surprise birthday visit with Google taking me on some different roads due to road works slowing the rate of travel down, so decided to take some time to convert a few unfound caches to smileys....Have never been to this area before, and feel it needs some more investigating at a later date...TFTC.
We werent too sure where to look at first but once we got closer to GZ it all became clear.Great hiding spot, Great view of the mill and great camo, very unique. Thanks for bringing us here.
TEMBO! and I visited "Tokoroa Rural Power" and enjoyed the fantastic view. After the view we signed the guestbook.
Thanks to lukeskywalker521 for hiding and maintaining the cache.

My companion and I left the motorway to look for this cache as well. The find couldn't be avoided.

Found. Good location but no box only the paper & the sealed bag is left, very wet. Geocachers from England!
Jeepers. Kinleith is quite the eye sore and super noisy. The price we pay for paper.
Never actually laid eyes on the mill before although family friends have been employees here over many years. The log container is half gone, but the log is in surprisingly good condition considering. TFTC
Kinleith will mean a bit more having seen it.
Found cache quickly and will carry on closer to the mill.

# Found with mobi12 24 november 2022. Greetings from Västmanland Sweden. Thanks for the quick find
Found. Just a lid no container could use some maintenance. Log abit wet but was able to sign
We are making our way to Taupo for the night and stopping to do a few caches on the way. We were going to do this one the last time we came past but a massive truck was parked right at GZ. No one present today so out the car we hoped. The first thing we noticed was the smell and then how much rubbish was around. Long story short - we found the lid to a container a couple of metres near where we suspected GZ to be, then a very wet log book near by. We searched around for any other parts to no avail - so signed and then just tucked it safely away between the long grass and the pole till maintenance can be done. Will log maintenance so that this can be fixed for future caches. TFTC .
The log and lid to a container were found laying a few metres from GZ. No other parts could be found. Log very wet. Needs to be fixed and re hidden. We popped it between the long grass and the pole to try and keep it dry.
In the area today so headed out to collect a few local caches. Nice quick find with a great view of the mill. TFTC
Found with friends whilst visiting in the area. The cache came with complimentary snails. TFTC
A family affair this one. While out for a drive around Tokoroa we picked up this one today. I am on day 8 of a 10 day streak needed for a particular challenge. It is a good view of Kinleith, a place I worked ooh so long ago. TFTC.
It's my Mega weekend road trip! This is day one, on the road to Auckland. Will expand on my logs, post photos, qualifying caches for challenges, etc. When I get home. TFTC
That's an impressive amount of steam coming out of the factory.

Whilst out on a mission with EyeSpyBen , soon had this one in hand, signed and returned,TFTC
Quick find. The snails tho!! Tftc. Busier intersection than I expected tho, trying to look casual just standing there. I think I failed.
Heading south to Taupo for the day, took a wee detour, made a quick find, camo doing the job well. TFTC
Quick park and grab today. We were desperate to check out the special truck only road but common sense prevailed. Tftc
Heading to Turangi from Auckland to stay with FMZ’s parents Punga and Paua for about a week. Several of us are supposed to be climbing Mnt Ngauruhoe for my 9000th milestone, but I have set in my mind to enable my 9000th cache to land on rustynz’s Celebration Event on Mnt Ruapehu and not Ngauruhoe. I have rusty in my car, I picked her up, we left Auckland at 7:30am and she’s picking out a few caches along the way.
We decided to pull off the main HW, did the big loop-de-loop over the bridge and headed here, rusty has done this cache so now I'm doing it, no probs finding the hide while rusty sat in the car.

#8806. I stayed overnight in Tokoroa and headed out early to pick up some local caches before driving south to Wellington. This one was a nice quick park and grab. The cache may have changed since 2012 as it was easier to find than expected. Signed the logbook and replaced where found. Thanks lukeskywalker521 and Bruce32 for hiding it here. Have to say that the mill is a bit stinky!
I have been caching in this area a couple of times in the last few years but for some reason this one had fallen through the net. Fixed that this morning, an instant find. Signed log, TFTC!
A little detour on my way to Paeroa. Quick find but I disturb family's of snails and wood lice. Log book is so wet unable to be signed. Have placed waterproof paper in cache. Cheers
Easy find! Never paid attention to the Mill After 28 years of being year!

I had taken a side road on the way north and found myself near here. Parking at GZ I thought I had spotted the cache but it wasn't it - it was still an easy find though.

The cache is home to a large population of woodlice but the log has been replaced and is nice and dry. Interesting location.
The logbook is unfortunately very wet. therefore a photo log.
Thanks for the Cache

I was driving up to Auckland today. Madness I know, in Easter traffic, but needs must...
In order to break my journey up a little bit I thought I might stop to grab an occasional cache not too far off the beaten track. I had just stopped to fuel up at Atiamura (thank heavens for Gull!) and wondered what caches were available nearby? This was one of the closest so a short drive later here I was, giving my legs a good stretch.
The cache itself was a nice straightforward find. I'm not sure how this was hidden when initially placed but there is no camo now, just a obvious hide to a geocacher. I was able to sign the log and replace with ease as there was nobody around being Good Friday. I grabbed the TB that was in there.
