On a Sunday morning return visit to Moonee Beach, I drove Sooty into the caravan park and around the back where there was a pleasant patch of park.
I let the gpsr lead me across to the Biggest object in the park and the cache was located easily
Nice cache, decent size container, made me happy.
Thanks for the cache, and the series Team Zawadzki

24/01/13 10:56 AM. Cache #393. Current streak: 137 days. My last in Moonee Beach so I got 5/7 here. Good to see another non-nano. That is a big stump! TFTC }:)
On a drive down from Wooli today while there camping on holidays we found ourselves a few caches. This was one of them. We didn't need to drive into the park as our car gps took us to an entry way quite close to the cache location where we could enter the grounds through a gate. GZ certainly is a biggy! Well done Team Zawadzki for finding it and placing a cache here. With some campers around we were glad we looked in the right place quickly and we managed to retrieve, sign and replace with none the wiser. TNLNSL.
Found during a mountain bike cache assault on Moonee! Plenty of tents and campers relaxing around GZ but they paid no attention to two bike riders resting by the stump. Nearly gave up looking but at the last moment geo-son inadvertainly kicked the cache out of its hiding spot. Many thanks.
No one near the giant, not even the table upenders, so an easy search and find. TFTC Team Zawadzi
Found with BenGunn. There was a van and tent right next to GZ, but they didn't bother us, or us them TFTC SBs
Huge old tree ! Tent right next to GZ but no-one home so quickly had cache in hand! TFTC
With a tent and caravan very close by we weren't sure whether we would be able to search for this cache. However it appeared that the campers were out, so took the opportunity for a quick search and sign. We were out of there in record time. Tftc
Skipped this one yesterday (was getting frustrated with all the tourists), but found it this morning when I went back to sign the foreshores cache. Nice quiet morning TFTC.
Today I decided to attempt the caches in Team Zawadzki's Moonee Beach Tour. After completing MBT 4 I parked at the Foreshore which put me less than 200m from MBT 1, 2, 5 & 7.
The stump is impressive so the original tree must have been magnificent. GZ is in a secluded part of the park so there are no muggle surprises.

Wow it's huge , Put log sheets in a bag & left a trinket , Need a geocaching note if found accidentally, Sl, TFTC
Awesome location! Very well hidden cache. Left TB picked up from Queensland. TFTC
This is certainly an impressive remnant. What a pity it is not still a growing concern! Picked up the breast cancer TB. TFTC.
This is a big tree (or was). Plenty of fire wood in there! The rest of the Browngang stayed in the car while I made the find.

Found it in company of Rusty dutchman, Lost in the outback, and iLocate. At first I kicked it but then one my friend found it. It was raining quite heavily so it mad it a bit more difficult, we took a trackable, I currently have it and we dropped off a breast cancer trackable. TFTC
Very sneaky hiding spot, we did a few laps around the tree before lost in the outback found it. TFTC. Found in the company of Rusty Dutchman, The Pheebster and lost in the outback.
Found on a day out with some cacher mates. Great tree trunk, would have been an awesome tree. TFTC SL TNLN

Wow..what an amazing tree..would have loved to see it in all its glory...good spot for a cache...found it uncovered...camo was actually surprisingly hard to find but it isnt visible now..TFTC
After three unsuccesful attempts at other Moonie Beach caches, it was great to eventually log a find. A camper had set up his tents within 20 metres of GZ which therefore required a great deal of stealth. No pen so the log sheet remains unsigned (had left my pens back at the car). This certainly must have been a "big one" in it's heyday.
A lovely walk in the field led us to the big one. Its amazing the places geocaching takes us.
Thanks for another cache Team Kawadzki

Went for run to Moonee Beach and back. Found this cache when there, but not the nearby "Foreshore" cache. TFTC
Found at 2.50pm GAFF1. A nice camping ground, but a bit soggy at the moment. We were pleased that a small container was placed here - a bit of a relief from all of the nanos and micros that we have been searching for over the past day or so.
Thanks Team Zawadzki.
Thanks Team Zawadzki.
The ground was very wet walking across to GZ but soon found the cache. Certainly is a large stump, thanks.
Had a great time in Moonee today-our second FTF in the day-doubled our FTF's in one day, hooray. Left a banana and took a paratrooper. TFTC.
