A nice quiet park and grab on a cool Sunday morning way out at the end of the road.
To get here i drove past massive house after massive house. Some beautiful, some gaudy, but almost all oversized.
The area seems to be a weird mix where a quiet country area has been divided up and sold to city money and is still in that transition period.
I wonder what the area will look like in 20 years time.
Thanks.

Out for another epic days caching with marj01; this time around Erskine Park, Orchard Hills, Kingswood, St Marys and Ropes Creek, suburbs that I would never have visited if I wasn't for geocaching. We found lots of caches; mainly nanos, minties and a few small sistemas plus a good old ammo can.
A big thank you to all the CO's who placed and maintain these caches.

Rounding out the day’s tally on an even number, had just enough daylight to make one more PnG on my way home from a family function. Batteries ran out just as I parked but gps not needed for the quick find, even if listed size had me expecting something bigger.
Back in the home area for a couple of days so found this one when out and about for work - log is full - TFTC rebeccavoy, I really enjoyed it!
We pulled up to this cache in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. We felt out of place but made the grab within a few minutes of reaching GZ.
Having known this was a small cache placed by children, was hoping for a larger container to drop a trackable but was slightly disappointed that it was smaller than expected.

After an attempted walk (cut short due to drizzle) and coffee in Riverview shopping centre Windsor I decided to brave the elements with a drive to Penrith driving through more rain on the way over before a break in the weather presented itself. I managed to pick of six drive byes in clear weather.
My second park and grab for the morning. Surprised by the number of large houses out this way. tftc

We found this cache in the obvious place so it was very quickly retrieved. The log was then duly signed and all was replaced where it had come from. It was then back to the geo vehicle to continue the hunt. Thank you rebeccavoy for placing this cache to be found and enjoyed by us as well as our fellow cachers.
23/6/16. 11:02 AM. Cache #3941.
1st of 14 finds today in Orchard Hills, Caddens & Jordan Springs.
All my finds today were very quick & easy - most of them park and grabs but a couple of them needing a short walk of under 200m. Zero DNFs. Not much more I can say about them, individually. TFTC.

Next find: Ev4d's PNG series #14 Darvill Rd.

I left early in the morning to try to avoid the forecasted heat. I still didn't return home until just after noon so I got most of the heat anyway.
I achieved 18 finds and 5 DNFs some of which may be gone.
First place I looked.

A large home under construction with frames stood on a raft slab, should of taken a photo of it for the cache album, sorry guys. Had assumed where it would be, driving upon approach and was rewarded with a big tick in the first place I looked, thanks Booo's
A quick find while in this part of the world today ... a bit of stealth was required, though, because of the builders putting up a new house next to GZ ... but in this day and age of smartphones it's pretty easy to make it look like you stopped to make a call and to wander around with phone to the ear.
Thanks for the cache Rebecca, and another smiley too ... I've come across a few in this series now.

This was the only find for today. I was finishing at UWS Kingswood and needed an easy cache for my streak. This was a little out of the way but I was closer to it than I normally would be so I set off. It wasn't before long I started admiring some of the grand houses out here - some of them have character which is nice. I located GZ easily although it is right next to where a new house is being built and I thought I would be questioned by the workers. Nevertheless, I quickly made the find and replaced the cache without the workers even noticing what I was doing. SL. TFTC.

Found this one after work on a rainy day, easy park and grab. Thanks for showing us this area, I absolutely love how quiet and peaceful the area is and the many beautiful houses. TFTC!
I had to deliver the faithful GeoBuru2 down to Penrith Subaru today, to have its regular maintenance work done. rogerw3 accompanied me and we planned to do a bit of geocaching during the four hours or so that the vehicle would be tied up. (I arranged for a loan car from Subaru.) What we found to the south of Penrith was a sometimes disappointing collection of caches (13 in total), a number of which really required either a bit of TLC or a complete overhaul. We also DNFed four caches, all of which we suspected had gone walkabout.
This particular cache was in pretty good condition, hidden away at the very end of a cul-de-sac, next to the construction site of yet another McMansion.
No one was around at 12 noon on a Monday, and rogerw3 made the quick find in a likely place. TNLNSL.
This area looks like Dural back in the 1980s . . . farmland and waste land being filled up with expensive houses.
Thanks to rebeccavoy for the hide.

9,003 + 1,010 = 10,013. Found during a work trip to the Penrith region.
After work today I headed to this area for a few caches. Wanting one more for today I saw another of the nice Cache-abet series nearby. So I did the twisting turning drive to GZ along the wonderful street names (all Wine related) to make a nice drive-by find.
Thanks rebeccavoy !

Also, I live on the other side of the bush there, and deer have been spotted in the area. So keep your eye out!

Cleaning up a few of the caches that do not have smileys in this area and this guy was next on the list.
Lovely area to live but you would sure need a ride on mower to keep the grass down.
This would be the last cache today before heading home for dinner.
There were a few spots that a cache could be hidden but after finding "E" yesterday this guy is hidden in the same fashion so that helped.
Thanks again to rebeccavoy for placing this cache.

I arrived to find biscuit crumbs littering GZ, it seems i'm fresh on the heels of the Cooksmonsters. Boom tish.
OK so the cache, Its a really nice estate down here tucked away. The cache was located quickly once i finally stopped looking at the local housing. Some of these poor folk must be really doing it tough
Thanks rebeccavoy

After passing the Roman residence ( Read up on that place!) It was a quick drive to the cache. Plenty of nice houses around here. Walked by the cache and it wasn't until I saw a mark that gave it away. TFTC!
Found with myke.rog during our lunch break. It was a bit of a tortuous route to get here, we were lucky to find our way back out . SL TFTC
