Not in a fuchsia. Why was I focusing in those last time. Found on other side of track and caught a glimpse of blue that seemed out of place. Yep. Cache. Hooray. Thanks, Bitsprayer.

No luck. Like looking for needle in haystack. Gps all over the show. Spent too long looking and looked at every possible fuchsia within about 30m or more. Lots of potental places but no cache spotted.
found all safe and secure on a caching adventure to walk the track tftc cache all ok
Finally. .. at last I cannot remember noticing it there last time.... but was there today
Came for a walk in Gunns Bush this morning. A tricky little hide, fortunately I found it quickly once the GPSr settled and took me to the correct tree. Signed log, TFTC
Last night the weather starting to turn for the better and this morning I woke up to a cloudless day so it was time for a walk in the bush. What a great walk this is.
Cheers for the cache.

Twisting seems to be the operative word around here.is it because the earth moves?? or prevailing wind?..after all we know the saying..."if the wind changes u'll look like that for ever!
spent the entire walk trying to figure out what the twisty tree was .. there are heaps of them at virtually every cache.. and it wasn't till i got back to the carpark did i find the flower that told the whole story... Tree Fuschia!.. wow - never seen it as a tree.. instant fav.

Weekend away caching with Nosynel. We stayed the night here and hit the track in the morning. Really enjoyed the walk. Nice dry track lovely sunny day. Thanks for the caches makes the walk lots more fun.
After a cosy night in the camper van we decided to do this trail. This one had us scratching our heads. We spent quite a while searching. My caching pal BBear44 found it. Sneaky hide.
I could not find this one, I spent in total 25 mins looking for it. Both GPS showed the same tree, I expanded to all trees within 20 mtrs to no avail. Can this be checked out please. I will be going back in early december.
Got this on the return as just couldn't find it on way first time. This took us too long for a fairly obvious cache tftc
We looked for this on the way up but could not find. On the way back down we spent more time knowing it should be there. Then I spotted the track cover on the cache. Tftc
This one took a while but we soon tracked down the right one and then made the find.
Found with DebsNZ and Aoraki.

It's obvious which 'twisted mess' to look at, obvious once we had found it that is. GPS all over the place for us. Found with debsnz and Woody104
A nice and pleasant walk, great to be sheltered from the wind. We did the walk some years ago with only one cache placed and a few days later all the other new ones turned up. So this was on the todo list for quite a while - all easy finds and no problems. TFTC
A nice quick find, though GPS was all over the place. Found as part of a road trip to Oamaru over Queens Birthday weekend. Thanks for the hide.
Another one in the obvious spot.
165 of 270 for a day stretching from Danseys to Thompson's Track.

Last visit here was for the original, Gunns Trek. Vivid memories of the most unusual moss carpet on the lower part of the track, and it was just as amazing today. No problem making the finds today, all except the last one that is. Enjoyed the re-visit and the walk.

Saw an obvious spot but didn't find it. When I told M, he looked again and sure enough. Left Travel Bug.
Starting getting dark, pleased I brought my headlight ........should have started a bit earlier. TFTC
This was my last find for the day - by now I had one of my pens back and waimoguy's grandparents handed me the other as I was signing the log for this one. Quick find on the way back as CO had given me a hint. Nice guy that Bitsprayer - I know others say different! lol. So 18 caches today and wonderful it was. Thanks Bitsprayer for your patience and understanding. (That feeling will last until I am confronted with another of his devious hides)
The track was a wee bit damp after the rain which made for an interesting wander, groping around searching was a tad damp but well rewarded!.
Thanks
