An easy find hidden in plain sight on a warm afternoon!First stamp on the brand new page TFTC
This was our last find in Adelaide after visiting for about a week from Port Macquarie (although it isn't our last to log with some notes and photos from a handful of earthcaches, virtuals, and webcams to sort through). Also apologies for the late log (by a day). Adelaide exceeded all of our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We had half an hour to kill before our scheduled rental car drop-off time, so decided to find one last cache, and obtain info from the state of the nearby interstate letterbox. This was the one we chose given its proximity, managed a quick find as there was really only one place it could be. The log was a pulpy mess so we put in a spare piece of paper, although I see that it was replaced anyway after our visit Thanks for the cache
A jaunt through the western suburbs this morning to get rid of a few unfound caches littering the map. A good collection of cache's were found but the standout was OzGrumpy's Come in Spinner. Made my third visit to the airport in as many days to collect one of the Gone in 60 Seconds series and finally got a Freddo puzzle cache that has been bothering me for a number of years and I finally got over the line with the help of that CO. Experienced extreme luck today with the various caches hidden on bus stops as not once did I have to wait for a muggle to move on. TFTC to all COs.
Nearby for work stuff so this was a nice quick walk and find. Nice novel container too!Coming to the end of my time here in Adelaide and SA and the thought that I'd be here until Monday is now likely a Thursday departure. A few things going on for work today so not too much time for distractions, got a few when I could, and when it was appropriate that I was in the area anyway. Thanks to all COs for their hides and ongoing maintenance.
I introduced a lady to geocaching at GZ today.Seascout78, I found Amongst the Cricketers! today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
After a great Leap Day Mega event a couple of days ago and a nice road trip to Victor Harbor and catch up in Glenelg yesterday, today I was mostly by myself on my last day here apart from when I attended a couple of events. I drove around doing whereigos, a few multis and a few puzzles I had solved. As I got slowly closer to the airport I did some ad labs and a fair few trads until I had to head off to catch my flight. It was the end of an enjoyable few days.Wow, now that is a D1. How does that not get muggled. Thanks for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 38/74, Wednesday. I made a very quick trip to Adelaide to participate in The Great Leap Forward mega event. On the 28th, I left Melbourne right after a rather short workday and took a flight to Adeleide, where I participated in the reviewers' dinner (I work as a reviewer for Finland & land Islands) with Australian reviewers and HQ lackeys and on my way to the restaurant and and back, also geocached a bit. On the 29th, I worked from my hotel in the morning, participated in the mega event and geocached around the city a little bit in the afternoon, then headed to the airport and continued my working day there. So it was quite a combination of everything but I was happy I could make it to the mega anyway. I was back to Melbourne after midnight on the March 1st then. This was a quick find. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
Reperio 12:03After arriving in Adelaide this morning, and checking into my motel, I headed off on foot in search of a few caches. Arrived at GZ, and very quickly spotted the cache before I was on to the next one.Gratias Seascout78As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
# 9140 Day 2 of the Adelaide Lap Day Mega tour. Flying solo at this stage as others make their way over at a more leisurely pace. It was busy for me however. I started the day by heading into the city by tram during peak hour to:1. Get coffee2. Get the two webcam cachesAnd any others I happen to cross. I had to pick up the hire car back at the airport at some stage, but no hurry.I spent the afternoon around Grange and Westpark grabbing all sorts of caches. I focused on those with good Fav points and I was not disappointed. Finally headed back around dinner time.It was here I discovered I'd lost my tweezers. Didn't need them in the end. Thanks IMP666 for the Traditional Cache
Fastest cache we've done! Glad that it wasn't on the other side. Spotted it right away. Log book was a bit damp and no pencil was inside.
I went up too far then came back down and found it straight away. Double ended! I signed one paper in one end. The wetter one TFTC
Quick find walking from Adelaide airport. Walked up to it. No idea about the cricketers though.. thanks
We decided to get out early today and go find some geocaches, before spending the afternoon with family watching the grand final. Carrots had his grossness formed in today, found it nice and easy. TFTC IMP666
There never seems to be the time or the inclination to find this one when travelling to or from the airport, but today I’m only going to IKEA, so today is the day. I barked up the wrong tree initially but the cache was spotted before too long and I think I see the cricket tie in, although I’m not 100% sure. The log is indeed damp now, the other two prior logs are now just a blur. You’ll probably need a TOTT to get the log out - I did. A small log inside a ziplock would be the way to go here I reckon; sorry that I’m not a position to help out right now.
Thanks for the cache IMP666/SeaScout78.

This week, I was on a business trip from Brisbane to Adelaide as part of a conference and exhibition, so it was an opportunity to catch up with friends and collect a few geocaches.
On my way to the airport, my flight was delayed (not surprising given it was one of the last of the day), and my chauffeur (my mother) was happy to make a couple of unscheduled geocache stops along the way, which included this one. There were a few people waiting in their cars, which as the description mentions, was likely due to upcoming flights for the airport nearby, however both Mum and I questioned the need for this location, since we always used IKEA for our waiting game. After parking and scoping out GZ, I soon had the clever cache in hand. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. The logbook did appear to be reasonably fresh and ever so slightly damp though. Clearly I'm not a cricket fan as the connection to cricket alluded me, but still a nice cache placement. Thanks Team IMP666 for the cache placement, and Seascout78 for its ongoing maintenance.

I remember looking for this years ago (like and being unsuccessful and there it has sat unfound on my map ever since despite being only 15 minutes drive from home.
Picking up the niece and her bf from the airport I thought I would try my luck whilst waiting for them to land.
Surprisingly quick find TFTC

I had a 5 hour stopover in Adelaide on my way from Melbourne to Whyalla so I decided to go a-wandering. A short walk from the airport and I was at the GZ. A quick find. TFTC.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Brilliant and Clever
I like it

Quick find but logbook soaked. Left additional piece of paper but cache could need a new one.
Thanks Seascout78 for the cache. Easy find. The log is a sodden, disintegrating mess, but I didn't have a small plastic bag, to put a new piece of paper into, just paper. If I can find another muggle free window here, I might add a plastic bag.
Quick find. Not too many muggles about. Cache very wet. Sorry no supplies brought with us. TFTC
As it’s a nice albeit overcast day, thought I’d get out on the bike and see if I could pick up a few caches here & there
Managed to sign the log but it is sodden

Decided to clear up a few more caches while in the area since the weather has improved.
As it was a spur of the moment decision I didn't have my stamp so it's back to good old pen and pencil.
I've come across this container before so quick and easy find here today.
Log book a bit damp but still signable.
Tweezers, torches and other useful tools of the trade are always on hand for necessary cache retrieval.
As well as a first aid kit and gloves for when things get messy.
pineapplegoldy acknowledges the Kaurna people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which I venture on today.
Thanks Seascout78 for this cache.

Have to say it was a happy coincidence that my 334th cache had to do with cricket! Parked nearby and checked before making the grab.

Out for a walk around the neighbourhood and ended up passing this cache. I had been nearby a few weeks ago but rain plus car parked next to GZ stopped any attempt to look. Today it was nice and quiet so was a quick find. TFTC!
Quick find after an early morning drop off at the airport... and great to be back after so long! Came in from the back and walked around the fence, all quiet at 7am!

I have just replaced the cache. Please DO NOT cut the cable tie - just unscrew an end and push the log out. Simple really
Thanks

Mr Dromaniax had a few hours to fill before flying back to Victoria, and what better way to fill that time than hunting down some caches. After staying in the city, he thought he would cache his way out to some bushwalking. The morning was nice and sunny with a little bite to the air but perfect for walking around looking for caches. On the way to the airport and a cricket-themed cache. The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache IMP666.
Easy find, clearly I’m not a true cricket fan as I don’t get the name
Thanks for the cache

Part 3 of our day led us to the airport to send off a family member of the raccoon for a couple of days. Our first stop led us to an unfortunate DNF. But, we were happy to come to our first Pt. 3 find. Found with Bektheraccoon. TFTC, IMP666.
Out and about with my wheeled geobuddy. This was a very quick find. Log book was a little damp.

Found with conardel! Picking up the siblings from the airport and thought we would find a few caches in the area. I guess we also found where everyone parks their car when they don’t want to pay for airport parking!! - thanks for the cache - webbers
We found this one fairly quickly while cycling this way. Luckily no muggles in cars or nearby today. TFTC
Found with muggle husband and geo granddaughter when picking her up from the airport. Quick find but still didn’t get the cricket hint. TFTC TNLNSL
