I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi TheWanglersThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
No very safe place to pull off the road. Returning from Hamner Springs was better, but I was unable to put my hand on the cache today.
After clearing all but three caches on the Molesworth Road between the locked gates before it closes very very soon for the season, I headed home. This was the first stop along the way.
I had looked for this one only once previously, when I had only been caching for a month or so. This time I had better luck, on the other side of the growth than last time. Picked up some teeth too.

On my way north and getting some caches on the way. All good with the cache. Thanks
Caching around the Amuri Basin. Watched a mufti cop in a brown Mazda pull over a speeding motorist very close to the cache; TFTC
A bit of a reach, but i got it. There's a very chilly wind here today.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

Had a run to do for work, Waipara - Springs Junction then Springs - Wakefield... I hadn't checked the road closures and when I got to Springs, I found out 65 was closed... All good, I came back and intended to do some caching on the way back... luckily I left, about an hour after I came back through, Springs - Hamner closed. This was the only cache I got in the end, slack!
TFTC TheWanglers, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 1 today, making this find #3138

On a 3 week South Island road trip.
I wouldn't normally stop at a random roadside cache, but I'm carrying a TB that wants to visit State Highway caches, and thus cache even has SH7 in its name!
Had to look twice before I spotted this in its nest. I'm sure the tractor driver ploughing the adjacent field thought I was doing something dodgy screened by the trees!

Day 1 of a road trip round the South Island, and today it was Nelson to Gore Bay, where our family have hired a bach for the long weekend. So we couldn’t get everything on our trip, so I cherry-picked a list of favourable caches - letterboxes, higher fave points, but more often just those on our side of the road for the direction we are travelling. Plus, a special effort in getting most caches in and around Waiau and on the road to SH1. 17 in all found, and into Gore bay by 3pm to enjoy the rest of the day. TFTC all COs, sorry for the cut and paste, if there is anything specific about this cache it is mentioned below.
Yep, the traffic was ripping through here but thankfully due to the start of a long weekend it was mostly the other way. Quick find, TFTC hello Mrs.

2 April 2021 11:55. A 6 day road trip with GSEL, to capture as many of the PWGT caches as possible, and others as time permitted. Thank you for placing this for us to find.
#9302. Its Good Friday. The start of an Easter road trip to the South Island to pick up a swag of geotour caches in Canterbury, West Coast and Otago over the extended Easter break. Doing this trip with caching buddy Infoferret as we decided to share the cost of a rental car and fuel plus share the driving with the long distances planned for this trip. We hired a hybrid car and it was a good choice as it was economical but easily made it through all the long distances with no concerns over fuel tank capacity. Today we are heading to Hokitika via Hanmer Springs, Lewis Pass, Reefton and Greymouth (just 25 litres of fuel used for this day).
Making our way north now. Stopped here for another park and grab. There were several places it could be hidden but soon looked in the correct spot and had the cache in hand. Signed the logbook and replaced everything as found. Thanks Hello Mrs for the cache.

I write "WRITE NOTE" because it is a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in the memories of my visits to New Zeusemad. Of this adventure in New Zealand, I only stretch Travel Bug. Writing "FOUND IT" is probably not right anymore, it wasn't today, but I was here before. And unfortunately I won't get here again.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.

Setting off on a week-long road trip to upgrade IT at our South Island branches; a chance for some selective caching en route.
Not the sort of location I’d prepared myself for but only the one possible place to be looking. A quick find.
Thanks TheWanglers

Heading home and thought we'd get this cache. Did drive past initially and Angie parked up while I walked back. Was a fun search, careful of uneven ground. Amusingly just after I found this cache a Police car drove by. ??
Miserable and wet out today so I was reluctant to get put to find this. All good though. Thanks for the cache
Found on my geocaching road trip on the way to Canterbury Faire. Second part of the trip after camping just off the road
Decided to make a quick stop on our wsyto Cheviot. Cheeky driver thought I was messing with him when I was counting down meters to the final and shot right past it! Turned around for a smiley. Tftc.
Thanks Hello Mrs for placing this cache
It was fun... and a goid chance to stretch my legs after a long drive today!

A quick find after reversing about 200m We don't normally have that much time when going home from Hanmer. TFTC.
Visiting the South Island as the grown up kids are on Uni holiday. Heading up to Nelson today and collecting some caches en route. Parked about 300 metres before GZ at a turn off. Cache all fine and dry. Thanks

On our way home from Hanmer Springs after 3 days of caching with Busy Paws. As we were in the truck it was easy for Mr C to pull over and us to get out. Lovely cosey nest for the cache. Thanks for this cache Hello Mrs.
Make my wall back down to oamaru, from Blemhiem, taking the long way of coruse grabbing the odd cache here an there. Many thanks to all the cache placers. -Bitsprayer
One of a small number located in Hanmer and on our way back to Christchurch today. A quick stop and find near the start of our homeward journey. #2347. TFTC.
On our way home from an overnight excursion to Hanmer and we stopped to pick this one up. Great views from here, TFTC
Took a couple of minutes. Great spot. Not really any parking if heading towards the west coast. We got it on the way back from hamner Springs. Tftc
Quickly found. Busy Sunday drive back from a relaxing weekend in Hanmer Springs for my birthday? Tftc
Even following the hint it took me longer than I expected. A stunning Canterbury scene, thanks for inviting me to stop and TFTC!
That was quite a long scenic drive. ReCached and I could totally use a brake and what better place to have it than next to a geocache. We knew what to look for, but even after a few minutes the box didn't show up. We looked again... and there it was. TFTC Hello Mrs!

Found on our way back from a wk end in hanmer springs, a little more difficult than a 1.5 rating I think due to the parking. Cheers for the cache
This was the fifth day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms. TFTC.
Having finished our caching in Hanmer Springs we got back on Highway 7 heading for Christchurch. Seemed appropriate to make a quick stop here. Thanks.
On my way home from picton i was due my half hour break so i looked for a likely cache to stop for and chose this one as it seemed pretty close to the highway .... hmmmm there was parking alright.... 300 meters up the road.... so i stopped signed the log and when i was walking back in my hi viz clothing wondering what the other truck drivers thought i was doing .... my excuse as always is .... i thought i heard something drop off my truck hahaha nobody stopped to see if i was ok !!!! TFTC
Needed a quick stop to get something out of the boot so took the opportunity to grab a cache at the same time. Didn't realise how cold it had become. TFTC
Found with odgersaj on a beautiful weekend away when I didn't understand the app/have a prem account - now I do though! Signed the log back then but didn't do the online bit so logging now. Thank you!!
A lovely day spent in Hanmer. A couple of caches on the back to our accommodation for the night. Tftc.
