As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Started off with this cache thinking "I like this, very clever", got to what was supposed to be the second waypoint and doh! its gone. After some hunting around and rechecking, a call to Dak's Emu Mob confirmed what we ( caughtatwork and myself ) had located the right spot. The vital info was missing so we were pointed in the direction needed for the final location and on arrival there it was. Not it good condition with water inside. Caughtatwork is going to report on the cache condition.

Took - U.S. 1/4 Dollar
Left - Nothing ( I think the cache will be archived shortly, if not I will pop past and leave something )

We found the first way point easily.
The second waypoint stuck out like a sore thumb, so this was also no problems.
The third waypoint is where we ran into grief.
We saw where it was supposed to be, but it was no longer there, or to be more precise the waypoint was no longer in the ground and the string that held the clue was broken.
A quick call to Dak's Emu Mob and Dak confirmed that we were at the correct waypoint, but the Staff of Moses has done the Red Sea thing and walked away.
Dak provided enough information from his memory (not bad after over 18 months) and we located the cache location.
A few seconds searching and Uncle Jiffy and I looked at each other and shook our heads. It couldn't be the cache ... there!
But it was.
The cache container was out in the open, completely undisguised, all of the logs (well random bit of paper) were saturated and falling apart, some of the swaps were in very poor condition and a generally a very poor condition find.
I took a 1961 penny and left nothing.

A note to the cache owner: With the 3rd waypoint missing this cache is unable to be completed. This cache will be reported to an Aussie approver for consideration.

Thanks for a very interesting cache though, it's a pity that more people won't be able to complete it for a while (if ever).

We found the first clue alright, but after a lot of traipsing around getting soaking wet shoes and trousers, we gave up on the second - it was getting dark, and we were hungry! Will be back another day.

Maybe lack of sleep, being freezing cold, windblown, and still slightly damp from earlier rains, doesnt help.
I was just confused by this point.
With fresh minds, hair tied back, and warmer coats, we will try again.

Found at 1:15pm. This one had an easy start but I took the second spot to an exact reference, taking us deep into the beach scrub. It was very hard moving around in there and there were quite a few spots that looked to be true to the clue. Strangely, we all ended with was some extremely bright purple/pink stains on our socks. We presume it to be from some type of berry but we never spotted anything that might cause it. What was strange is that the stains leaked right into our shoes but there was no trace of the stain on our shoes or pants. It also washed out fairly easily. We believe it to be a fairly ineffectual curse from an extremely minor Egyptian deity. Also, someone is living in there and has set up a fairly extensive camp. Hate to see their socks.

Anyway, when we accidentally realised where the spot really was we all thought "bugger".

Nice one Pharoh, from D,S & H B-A.
Took Spider with marble in an uncomfortable spot. Left Bomb Ball Boy.

This was the first of three caches along this beach.
Found the first clue very easy, the only hold up was the people walking by. Unfortunatly I did not interprete the second clue very well and spent some time searching, before No 2 read the clue and put me straight. Found third clue straight away. Went to GZ and the Lost cache was ours.
Took Buggy thing
Left Pull Strings
Thanks Great Pharaoh for a most enjoyable cache

JB and squalid's second cache. Found the second clue on our second try in the second half of the day.
Hardest part now was getting the lid off.
took yoyo
left 1961 Oz penny, guitar pick, marble

What a great cache. This was our second multi-cache, today and ever. Very well thought out and entertaining. Although I'm sure the topless bathers who were imbetween the 2nd and 3rd co-ords didn't think so. TNLN.

Found at 9:35pm in the dark after an adventurous expedition. Would you believe it I couldn’t find the first clue - I was trying to read too much into the clues on the cache sheet. After about 20mins I went back to the car and read the log entries on the computer and realised it must be there. Found it within 30 seconds after that. During this time the sun was getting really low in the sky and with the fresh aroma of cool salt air I got to enjoy the sunset. Later on at the third location a couple were appreciating the exact same view and experience as they sat and enjoyed a drink on a picnic rug. Not wanting to seem imposing and trying to work out where I was, as I meandered around, we ended up talking and I told them what I was looking for. “Like that†they said to the object three metres in from of me, “Arrh yes†– now for a look inside. This lead me to explain what geocaching was, which they partly guessed I was doing. At about this time Muzza rang me and we chatted about Saturdays plans, just long enough for all light to vanish from the sky. So now under torch light I crawled around low and checked up higher for the cache, only to find it much closer to the mention place than I had imagined. What a great cache and most enjoyable adventure. Big Grin

Swapped a pocket pinball game for a hotel comb.

Found 0930ish
Took about an hour to find because I had to wait for the Dogs and Owners to clear. It's the peak off leash period so beaware of eyes that may be watching over those that seek treasures....
A very clever theme. Thanks.
Out=LED Torch
In=Pocket PinBall machine.

It was a rainy day, so I didn't have too many other people to contend with, although at one point, I was adopted by a passing swarm of flies... One lunch-and-insect-repellent break later, I continued my quest, and found the cache at abaout 3:10pm.
Took a spirit level, left an orange clip/LED torch.
Thanks for a fun, sandy trek, close to home!

It took us two visits to crack this one. We couldn't find the second clue--we kept ending up in thick scrub. Sad

The Great Pharoh gave us a hint, and we found our way tonight. The second clue is truly clever and ingenious.

Dusk was setting in when we found the cache. There is no real log book, just a bunch of short logs scribbled on the back of the "you found it" sheet. The next visitor might think about dropping a small Spirax pad in the cache--we didn't have one with us.

The container for the first clue was very brittle and cracked, so we replaced it with a nice, new, black peppercorn jar.

The final cache is in good order. We took nothing, but left a sewing kit, an American Quarter, and a small yo-yo. All in all, a very entertaining experience.

Joe and Pete didn’t really know what they were doing on this one. This was compounded by the fact that the walkway along the beach was very busy on this sunny Sunday afternoon. Because of this only Joe went to inspect the landward pyramid and Pete the seaward one. We both found nothing, and with lots of people looking at us, we decided that we had better move on. Still don’t have much idea of what we were looking for, but do know it’s a multi, so I guess we were looking for a container with further coordinates.

I guess we’ll come back sometime when we’re next in the area.

Thanks for the challenge The Great Pharaoh – we failed!

Found at 11.20am.
Thoroughly enjoyed this adventure.
Few people around to disturb us.
A lovely seaside walk and great clues.
In the end an easy find.
No exchange made.
Thanks GP

The first attempt on this was on 29th June. We had planned to release Travel Bug "Not So Cuddly". Ended up in the bush at location 2 and wandered around somewhat. Eventually found the location 2 clue as night fell. Went to the final destination and searched for quite a while without success.

Asked The Ducks Guts team a specific question but they refused to give a further clue because it would give the location away. However, even the non-answer gave a clue. Returned today and went straight to the cache even in the dark at 7:05pm. Easy!! And the seaside was completely peaceful with absolutely no people in sight. Wrote the log at leisure.

Took Yellow Duck, left plastic painted beetle. Also took two AA batteries since they had started to leak ("best before" date was March 2003).

What else to do on a cold, wet winters day? We took the tandem out for a ride, and it really helps to break up a long ride. The first two clues were OK, and I really really liked the second one. The Stoker couldn't find the third clue - looked and looked everywhere around the cave - so after a long time went back to guard the tandem whilst The Captain went and had a look. Of course, he found it under 5 minutes. Very sad Stoker who sulked all the way home, but it was still so much fun! Only our second cache. Left a little rubber duck, but didn't take anything.

This cache had not been found for almost a year, not been searched for for 7 months. I found the first clue after a brief search, went back to the path, and ran across another geocacher looking for it! What are the odds? It was Neil from 2+4, who didn't have the clues and didn't know it was a multicache. So he got his kids and we searched for it together. We found the rather ingenious second clue, then found the area of the final cache site easily enough, and got stumped for a while. Was just about to give up when Neil literally stumbled across it. Not much in the cache so I left a spirit level and didn't take anything. Good to know this one has survived, as I enjoyed the original Indiana Jones, many moons ago.

Just a note to future cachers - there is no need to clamber up the cliff face and damage the vegetation at the final location.

Out for a Saturday drive and we turned on the GPS. We happened pick something up along the beach and went for a look. Unfortunatly number +3 was asleep so Number one went down by himself for a quick look.

I checked the path both ways and slipped into the bushes at what I thought was ground zero. Shortly there after I jumped out of my skin as I heard a voice say are you looking for what I am looking for? It was Quaser. After a quick chat I found out it was a multi cache and we decided to do it together as it may be hard to find. I grab +1 and +2 and off we went.

The staff of Moses was great +2 found it, I had seen the cave on the way down so we back tracked to it and started searching. We where about to give up when I decided to put the boot into a bush I thought we had searched and there it was.

Thanks for the help Quaser and thanks for the cache, our 50th found

Found the first 2 clues without a problem, found the final destination as well, but couldn't find the cache itself. As the area is being revegitated, didn't want to go to far from the final clue. Did find an ice cream container lid!

This is my 1st cache, conned Muzza into showing me what it was all about!!! It was a lovely sunny day but very windy and I am happy to say he got wet by a wayward wave (ha ha) I didn't. Love how the clues were set out as it made it into a bit of an adventure. (A long adventure because someone read the co ordinates wrong) We won't say who!!! As this was a spur of the moment thing we didn't bring anything to swap.
Thank you so much for the adventure I am hooked.

Can't believe I missed this one the first time! After a hint from Maccamob, I returned and easily found the first cache clue. My walking must have been a little off for part 2, as I ended up searching around a bush for the sceptre. After a few minutes, I decided to check out a nearby object... bingo! Very happy the cache wasn't hidden *inside* the cave Smile. Contents were a little damp - took a tennis ball and left a figurine from Ned Kelly's cache.

Found at 1730 by Mary & David. A pleasant evening stroll made more enjoyable by having to track down the various clues while avoiding observation by assorted dog walkers and joggers.
Mary particularly enjoyed the banksias and the artists stories. Took china frog and left small pottery trinket box wrapped in tissues. Thanks to The Great Pharoah.

Found by Ray and Maya (Nomads) at 3:35PM on Sunday the 14th of April. It was a lovely day for a walk along the beach with the multitudes. A very entertaining cache and lots of fun to find. All went very easy till the actual cache which gave us some Ag to locate (thanks Greg), but I guess if we had been a little more observant we would have found it earlier. We took the Chocolate Frogs (one each, it is a team effort) and left a ceramic frog, which we got from Sespit last Saturday, and a plump plastic spider which we got from Milo yesterday. Thanks for your efforts in creating this cache, we have enjoyed this, and your previous caches, and we look forward to your next one. Ray and Maya

Returned for a second try, and the junior member of Team Frogger found the cache fairly quickly.
Took some windscreen stuff and left some frogs

It was an enjoyable search on a beautiful Autumn day (Easter Monday AND April Fools Day) blue sky and sunshine all over. The beach walk was great and each location offered up its contents with no great difficulty.
Nothing exchanged - I remembered to bring everything else except an exchange item.
Thanks for a fantastic cache.

Found 14:05, a pleasant half hour on the beach. We initially thought the reference to Anubis was an oblique reference to the Greek guardian of the underworld who languishes nearby. It had us guessing until we found the spot and then it was all very clear, great fun Smile. Exchanged audio tape for plastic ten pin.

Thought I was going to have trouble finding this one, the clues looked very cryptic. But this was easy in the end. John and I really enjoyed finding the clues and then finally the cache. Took time for a splash in the water as well. Left a pen and some AA batteries, took a small tape measure for John's baby tool kit. Tony and John.

Great clues and a great cache.
I had a little trouble finding the second clue but once found I had no problems finding the final stash.
No exchange

Found at 1.00pm. It was a beautiful day for a walk along the beach but there were not too many people about to make it difficult. In the end the cache was very easy to find as it was quite exposed. (The next person will have to look a little harder!). Thanks for an interesting cache. It was great fun working out the clues and we look forward to the next in the series. Nothing exchanged. It was Tuesday night and my son was out coaching at the Youth Club. I decided it would be fun to look for this new cache, so, with my wife Pam and daughter Rachel we set off. We did not have any trouble with the clues which were very entertainingly written. Especially liked the location of the last clue in the staff. Had a bit of trouble finding the cache because I went into the last location instead of looking in its vicinity. Pam finally found it however, and we left a blank audio tape after taking the key-ring. There was no log book, but on the back of the GeoCache note was Tangles 15/2/02 so we may not have been the first ones to find it. I added gmj3191 to the note but it was getting dark so I am not sure how neat it was.
We had fun with this, thank you.
