So glad we made this amazing trip to Uluru for hubby's 50th and had the opportunity to log a few caches whilst here. We did the segway tour and it didn't disappoint. Fun and memorable. We loved the amazing story's and history of Uluru. Thank you for this Earth cache. Favourite point given for an unforgettable place. Photo attached of the old walk site which is now closed ,back in 1995 I managed to only walk up half way, wish I preserved and went to the top.
Today we did the Uluru Base Walk. The ALC of Mala Walk, the VC and the two ECs were integrated in this Walk. That one was almost on our way. Thanks for hiding this EC here.TFTCmagicchicken
My girlfriend and I visited this beautiful place two days ago. It was breathtaking. We also enjoyed answering the cache. Many greetings from the two Thuringians.
Out visiting Uluru with a group for a tour of Culture center and water to watering hole then sunset which was a lightning show just before the heavy rain. Didnt get the BBQ dinner but what a great natural light show. Thanks for this EC.
Great 3 days in Uluru National park. TFTC! Really hot days over 40C and afternoon thunderstorms, which brought water to waterholes. Beautiful!
Today we walk around the inselberg. We found all information and hope the answer is right.DMD
Completed a few caches on our ride around Uluru in the heat! Fantastic spot. Tftc
We were here at the cache on September 1st at 8 a.m. and took some nice photos. It is simply overwhelming how diverse the Inselberg is! Then we answered the questions and sent them to the owner. Unfortunately, we have not received a response or log permission to date. After our return to Germany we decided to log the cache, which we hope is ok. Thanks for bringing us here and best regards from Saxony in Germany. TFTC
Found this earth cache really pretty. We were on a bike ride and went past. Thank you TFTEC
Completed on a cycle tour around Uluru accompanied by a very interesting self tour audio. Great sunrise just before we set of, but disappointed with the sunsets last night and tonight. Cloud cancelled them both and even gave us some rain last night. No rain tonight but also no sun reflecting off the slopes. Many thanks for placing and answers have been sent as requested.
Today we did the circuit around Uluru. Amazing walk, nice to see some wildflowers out, great informative signs. We then went back for sunset, absolutely stunning. It was great to be able to read the earthcaches whilst out there as there were no signs about the geology. Tftc
Today we walked the whole trail around the base of Uluru and on the way we found this cache. We enjoyed the trip a lot.Already the answers are sent and the photo, taken yesterday at the sunset viewing, will soon follow. Team Mavos - Albert and Maria
Danke fr den schnen Earth Cache. Ich hoffe meine Antworten passen. Schne Gre aus Nrnberg

Greetings from Wales. We continue our Australia adventure in the red centre with a day trip to Uluru and a walk all around this stunning place. This was an absolute highlight walking around Uluru which took us about 4 hours and about 8 miles. So glad to have done it.The answers have been sent to the CO so I hope they are OK. A wonderful place for an earth cache. Shame it clouded over and we didn't get the spectacular colours of the sunset but you can't win them all. Thanks for the earth cache.
Together with Schatoh68 I made a wonderful trip, discovering Australia. Nice place, thank you for this cache, that we found in such a nice spot of this stunning nature.
Together with Birba68 we spent some really nice days near Uluru and visited in the moorning the with the First Sun this wonderful place. The answers will come soon Thank you
Brad and Janet are on an epic 6 week trip aiming to travel along the Canning Stock Route, the longest stock route in the world. 51 wells and crossing 4 deserts. We are traveling with a group of 11 vehicles on a tour led by Ron and Trent Moon. We have the geomobile towing the mini-geohouse on wheels. We have a couple of caches to put out if we find a good spot. We will grab what we can as we pass. We have finished the CSR part of the trip and are now headed home via Meekatharra, Sandstone, Leinster, Leonora, Laverton and the Great Central Road and Surveyor Generals Corner then across to the Stuart Highway. We started the Outback Way geocache trail in 2013. Slowly adding as we revisit from time to time. Hopefully we can add some more. Yet another visit to Uluru. Always an excellent place. Answers sent. Photos attached TFTEC
I can't form words for how awe-inspired I am from the behemoth sight of Uluru. Thank you for placing this EarthCache. I thank the Anangu people for sharing their home, their culture, and traditions. What a life-changing experience.
Not our first time to this magnificent place and hopefully not the last.Last time was in summer and really hot this time freezing cold for a difference....Answers have been sent and are hopefully all good. Thanks for showing and greetings from Germany!
We visited Uluru today, and it was really great. We took lots of photos and learned a lot about Uluru. Thanks for this Earthcache.Kind regards.schuhlstroo
What a huge bucket list item ticked off. Stunning natural wonder! We have been up close to the rock too, but posting the iconic pic! Q
Freddo sent Sallymander to Uluru and told her to find an earthcache. Earthscience answers submitted to the cache owner for approval. Amazing location. Thanks for the wonderful geology lesson.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. 2448 - After arriving at Yulara yesterday evening and setting up the four wheel drive with tent as my base for the next two days, I made the necessary arrangements to get the National Park Pass and a Tour Bus drop off and pick up organised. They dropped me off at the Mala car park and after checking out the Mala walk and Kantju Gorge, I headed off to the coordinates to be able to claim this Earth cache. What an amazing place! I grabbed many photos of the Rock as I circumnavigated Uluru in an anti-clockwise direction. Thanks for placing the cache here Team Ferreira - a place truly deserving of an Earth cache and a favourite point.
Explored Uluru with my family and fiance on my visit from the United States. I'm heading back to Melbourne today, but I had a wonderful time out here in Yulara. Met some wonderful and friendly people and had a blast exploring this vastly different land and experiencing cultures. We spent a day exploring Ayers Rock and spent a second day exploring Kata Tjuta. Experienced different foods and the field of lights. Visited the cultural center and learned about the Anangu people. It was a blast. Thanks for the wonder-filled experiences.
Coming in from Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States as part of team GGF & F5G, GrammiesGeoFun and Free52Grobert (Grobert for short). Often on a grandkid mission. Signed with GrammiesGeoFun & GROBERT, or GGF & F5G depending on the size of log. We recently moved closer to those grand kids, which means a new area and, new geocaches; a win-win situation.Currently our focus is on Web Cams, Multi-Caches, Letter Box Caches, and Wherigos. We also enjoy Earth Caches, Cemetery/Grave Yard caches (usually less chance of muggles), mystery/puzzle caches, and a chance at finding a recent hide. Always looking for a Fizzy or JASMER grid spot, and now we officially have made our 7th hide! Recently completed the J geo-art near Janesville Wisconsin (GC92Z0A). A creative group of different puzzle caches, which are hidden in a unique combination of cache containers. Worth the effort if one is in the area.New house results in new birds at the bird feeders and we are adding those to our birds sighted list. We report them on the Merlin Bird ID application supported by the Ornithology Laboratory at Cornell University. We have a new pond mate on our new pond, a Great Blue Heron, who we call Bluey, after the kids show based in Australia. The Cornell app works on iPhone and Android platforms and helps identify birds on the go! Great tool for use, while Geocaching, especially when you see a bird you dont recognize. We enjoy the camaraderie with other catcher's and the thought and creativity that goes into making these geocache hides. Thank you for giving the rest of us a challenge. We always practice Cache In Trash Out, (CITO).
TFTC. I took a Segway tour around Uluu and had a blast. It is an amazing place. The waterhole was a beautiful place to rest.
Thank you for a fantastic earth-cache. Really enjoyed what I learned here. Hope the answers are right. Greetings from the cold North
It has always been a dream of mine to see this awesome rock in person. It is hard to fathom the size of it from pictures in a book. Today that dream was fulfilled! Greeting from San Francisco, California and thanks for this EarthCache!
Thank you for the Earth cache! We really enjoyed the base walk -- flies notwithstanding.
I am visiting Australia from Canada and today I am hiking at Uluru. I picked one of the hottest afternoons to do this walk from the waterhole to the visitors centre via this cache. I thought I was going to melt. I took a pic at the base and another at the road as it was so sunny I could barely see my screen. Thanks for the smile.
Today the G did a guided tour to Kta Tjuta and the Uluru. #17.586Originally, a visit to the Northern Territory was not planned on our round trip, but this was changed and the view of Uluru was the highlight of the trip. I was just as moved as I was on my first visit in 2007. Thanks for taking me there and for the informationTFTC

Velk cesta do Ocenie - den 23 - Nrodn park Uluru - Kata Tjuta, Northern Territory (50 km)Po vydatn hotelov prav anglick sndani s peenmi fazolemi, ampiony, rajaty, slaninou a vejci jsem konen vyrazila objevovat krsy nejslavnjho utru Austrlie - Uluru alias Ayers Rock. A stihla jsem to v prav as. To m samozejm vzdlaly earth keky, jinak bych to netuila. Tak konm a jedu zpt k utrku podn si ho ut.Todays main goal was visiting of National park Uluru - Kata Tjuta and I spend whole day by Ayers rock. It is amazing stone ! And so photogenic. I walked around on Mala walk and Kuniya walk and some other stops on the road. At noon I was back on the hotel for rest and continued with walking in late afternoon. Wonderful place. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Czech republic. The anwers were send.
#5.999While being in Australia for a couple of weeks we decided to spend the time between Christmas and New Years at the Uluru. And after arriving in Alice Springs we took the car to the national park arriving just in time for a great sunset. While waiting for the sun to set we took on this earth cache and thank you for the given information ahead of our time here at this interesting place.TFTC says team mastba from Hamburg/Germany
On a 10-days tourist trip in Australia. Thanks for the cache. Greetings from Finland!
The snuggle muggle and I got some great deals on cheap flights, so over the Melbourne Cup weekend we decided to leave Victoria and head for the **NT**!After seeing a somewhat hazy sunrise, we started our base walk and headed over to this Earthcache. It got warm on our walk quick with a high of 37C today and although this wasn't my first time to Uluru, I wasn't really geocaching on my last trip and so this made this visit extra fun!I always love Earthcaches as they usually take me to beautiful locations and teach me some fascinating things, but this one completely out did the usual Earthcaches I find. Not only was the location one of the most beautiful I have been too, but it was interesting reading up about the **big inselberg**. A huge thanks goes to [Team Ferreira](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1d01d3c4-fc07-405a-b652-17c9d4791a28&wid=2fe42e2b-38fa-46f0-bbaa-c03e64e8b4b7&ds=2) for this fascinating and beautiful, Earthcache! We arrived at Uluru at sunrise and it was truly incredible. The walk around the base was amazing. The change in Sandstone texture and even the flora and fauna differs so much as you walk around the perimeter. Yesterday, we took a helicopter around Uluru and Kata Tjuta for sunset. It was great to see the rock from both perspectives. Nothing compares to the ground experience though.
Thanks for placing an earth cache here. It made me look into the details further of this amazing place.
Nearing the end of our bucket list base walk, having my started and finishing at Mala Car Park and walking clockwise as suggested by our hop on/hop off driver. It was everything we wanted and more. Such a fantastic place to visit. Answers sent to ECO

Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case Team Ferreira, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
Grosses und eindrckliches Kino dieser Berg. Die Runde zu Fuss rundherum war ein schnes Erlebnis.Grsse aus der Schweiz
Uluru has been a bucket list location ever since the dingo stole my baby.Taken me 48 years to get here but I finally got here.Thankyou for creating this earthcache.
Found by The Empire + HWalking close to Uluru is an awe-inspiring experience that allows you to truly appreciate the magnitude and beauty of this iconic natural wonder. As you approach this colossal sandstone monolith, you become acutely aware of its presence, both in its sheer scale and the intricate details etched into its surface. The path leading you closer to Uluru takes you through the arid, rust-colored desert landscape that surrounds the monolith. The earth is still beneath your feet, and the only sounds are the whispers of the wind and the occasional call of desert birds. It's a serene and humbling atmosphere that envelopes you, intensifying the anticipation of what lies ahead. The closer you get, the more you can see the intricate patterns and textures of Uluru's surface. There are caves and crevices, small alcoves that have been shaped by millennia of wind and water. These formations tell a geological story that stretches back eons, and you can't help but marvel at the forces of nature that have sculpted this monolith. The color of Uluru becomes even more vivid as you approach. In the changing light, it appears to shift from deep reds to softer oranges, creating a dynamic visual display. The rock's sheer vertical walls rise majestically, inviting you to reach out and touch the cool, ancient sandstone.Walking around Uluru, you can't help but be conscious of its cultural significance to the Indigenous Anangu people. The site is adorned with ancient rock art, and as you explore, you gain a deeper understanding of the stories and traditions that have been passed down through generations. Thanks for the earthcache Team Ferreira.- MEarthcache #407
Together with Bhrenfang I visited Uluru just before sunset. Thanks for this EarthCache and greetings from Germany!
Today we visited Uluru during the facing light- it is really a spectaculum! Thanks for this EarthCache and greetings from Germany!
While in the area for work I was asked to collect some paperwork from the office in the nearby community, an offer too good to refuse. I last visited the area as a tourist in the late 70's and had forgotten how big Uluru is!!Thanks for the earth cache Team Ferreira.
DancingBare and I just returned from our big trip to the Red Center. We were happy to visit Ayers Rock, what a geological marvel! Thanks to Team Ferreira for setting up this earth cache, and answers have been sent offline. TFTC, from Tennessee, USA
While staying in Yulara for a couple of nights, we went for a day tour closer to Kata Tjuta and Uluru. Learned a lot interesting facts while fighting all the annoying flies. Thanks for the Cache Team Ferreira! Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture close in front of the Rock (our guide was a bit in a hurry) so I took one from the bus. If thats not enough, I have others from a bit further away.
We arrived at Yulara yesterday and were introduced to the big rock at sunset. Spectacular! Today we made the drive ourselves to get up close and personal and then were lucky enough to enjoy a flight over the area for a unique view. Answers have been sent to the CO. Thanks for the opportunity to complete an earthcache at this bucket list location!
Thanks for the cache, catching up on logs from our holiday to darwin, spent the best part of a whole day at uluru. Thanks for the earthcache!
Day 30 of our greynomad trip up north and after a the JLWEvents, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, we are attempting to escape the southern weather that has been wet and windy.
Today we visited this beautiful area of our country and enjoyed a stroll along with many others who were here today.

My third day at The Rock and the first it wasn't pouring with rain. So that was a treat. I'd tried to get to this on a flooded path & it was still flooded so I drove around to this side/area instead & thus did this EarthCache as a drive-by. An educational one, so thanks for that. Time to head towards more affordable cola though...

Made the observations on this interesting earthcache during three weeks away with e.gregory1 on a trip along WA's Great Central Road and a caching circuit of the WA Goldfields. We travelled North on the Stuart Highway and out to Kings Canyon to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. From there we headed in a south-westerly direction along the Great Central Road with a number of detours along the way, including Surveyor Generals Corner and Empress Spring. Then it was down to Laverton and Leonora before turning South to Menzies and Kalgoorlie. A few days were spent on a circuit back up to Lake Carey and around to Queen Victoria Spring before returning to Kalgoorlie, then out to Coolgardie, Kambalda and Norseman, before heading for home along the Eyre Highway. Thanks for the earthcache Team Ferreira!
Found on another trip with FeatherWaite over 3-weeks through South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia. This time the plan was to head up to Kings Canyon, across to the WA border via Uluru and Kata-Tjuta, then down the Great Central Road, with a few side-trips along the way before eventually getting to the Goldfields and home via Queen Victoria Springs and the Eyre Highway.
We had some mixed weather to start, with a few overnight showers, bit warm temperatures and mostly sunny days.
Although I have been to Uluru a few times before, they have been work-related trips and I’ve never really had the chance to explore the area until now. It’s a great area!

We arrived in Uluru today and it is a pretty spectacular place. We decided to ride around base. It was a nice ride and it's amazing the changes in the rock ax you go around.

Visiting from Wisconsin, USA. Today I took a long awaited and seriously lengthy (19-hours!) day trip from Alice Springs to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. We’d already checked out the awesome Kata Tjuta and by the time we reached a stop on the southern side of Uluru, I was happy to watch the rest of my tour group trudge off while I relaxed under a shady thatched shelter and soaked up the magical atmosphere (oddly enough, a couple of returning tourists commended my decision). Thanks for adding to my enjoyment of a memorable day with this interesting earth science lesson. Favorite.
What an Amazing Site. We have a great journey through Australia learning a lot. Thanks for this Cache. Greetings from the Bachs!
Unser Familientreffen fand nicht nur in Melbourne statt. Wir unternahmen auch ein Outback-Abenteuer rund um Alice-Springs mit Uluru, Kata Tjuta und Kings Canyon.
