Ooo, this was something on its own. What power water has. Thanks for showing!

Wow, this waterfall amazed. The sheer power of the water, the speed and fiercity of the stream, the color of the water, the ..., the ..., the .... And again you just stand and watch and wonder and don't do anything else. OK, I tried to remember whether Jules Verne let the children of Captain Grant also navigate this waterfall or not - probably not.Amazing place. Enormous thanks for inviting us here!

After many, many hours of flying, a passage through China on the way there and through the United States of America on the way back, we will finally arrive in Christchurch which will be the starting point of our journey. We will enjoy the beaches of the Pacific Ocean and we will go back towards the North Island via State Highway 1. To combine business with pleasure, we will take regular breaks and small detours according to the caches that seem the most accessible to us.With a little more than 3500 km in 20 days, we will have discovered many facets of this island which is soothing. We will have to come back because there are so many places that we have not done ??. In broad strokes, the path will go from Christchurch to the Kaikoura Peninsula then towards Picton for the crossing to Wellington.New island, new road, and by State Highway 2 we go towards Hastings and Napier. We will leave the seaside for several days to go to Tongariro and Taupo. We will continue north towards Rotorua and Hamilton (without forgetting a detour via Hobbiton ??) A detour to the Coromandel Peninsula and finally the almost north of the island with Whangarei and Waitangi to learn the history of this country. There will only be a few days left to spend towards Auckland and its suburbs before taking the plane back to the grayness of our European autumn. The majority of the boxes will be found, we have abandoned those where our English was lacking and where we could not understand the clue. Thanks to all the owners who brightened up our path, who took us to incredible places (that's also geocaching)In short, we had a great vacation, saw beautiful places that simply ask us to come back. We learned a lot about the history of this country and its traditions, it's a great motivation for our destinations.-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Petit log en retard mais un peu plus complet maintenant que nous sommes rentrs la maison. Stage 3 of our trip is a few days on the North Island of New Zealand. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find. Day 1 Quick find at the Airport when arrived before we headed down to Pirongia to say with friends. Day 2 I spotted a multi in Hamilton which took us on a tour of street art. So we headed into town for a stroll around. After lunch, a walk was in order so we stopped at Lake Ngaroto and walked and geocached around. Day 3 we drove up to Coromandel stopping along the way to see the sights and of course geocache!Day 4 Up early to head eastwards and a leisurely drive back down the coast. Day 5 we headed down to Taupo for lunch and an afternoon of caching. Lovely place to visit. I was particularly interested in your description of how (due to the erosive power of the water) the falls will eventually recede back to beyond the footbridge. Thanks for bringing us to this spot.

We stopped in here on our way past. We spent a lot more time here than plan A as three young men arrived with their kayaks. We stayed and watched and videoed them. I would hate to be their mother as my heart was fair pumping watching them, and I didn't even know them. This is such a stunningly beautiful place, it really was no hardship staying longer in this area. The answers have been sent to the cache owner. Thanks for placing this cache and thanks for the smiley

Heading from Rotorua to Napier via Taupo, I stopped off for a few select caches en route. This was my next stop & BlLbo was reluctant to see *another waterfall* but had to admit that this one was very impressive! It took a while to find the requisite information but I have already submitted my answers to the CO & added a couple of photos as further evidence of my visit. This becomes my 200th Earthcache, so gets a favourite point for the memorable milestone!Found at 12:10Cache #10428TFTC funkymunkyzone

Weve had a couple of nights in Turangi and a trip through Whakapapa to have a play in the snow and now its time to head home. After the clouds of yesterday, the sun was out in full effect today which made for a glorious stop for lunch in Taupo and a detour to Huka Falls. What a fantastic side trip. Not too busy today so we were able to do our research and find the info sought. Quite magnificent Thanks funkymunkyzone#5326Logged using Cachly.

I've been through Auckland once before on my way to Oz, and decided then it should be on my bucket list. The missus (from Oz) agreed, and this time, we stopped over for 10 days on the North Island along with our granddaughter in tow for some site seeing and exploring.A most impressive amount of water going through here today. Absolutely stunning falls for quantity of water, and an excellent example of the power of water.First stop this morning after brekkie at GC5K6CM. I'm not here for all the geocaches in New Zealand, I'm here for some of the coolest and best earthcaches and virtuals because of where they take me and what I see. I have visited the Huka Falls many times as I grew up in Taupo and often visit my parents who still live there. On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Smile From day 49/74, I was accompanied by my dear son, geocacher Ruupertti, who travelled from Finland to visit me in Australia and to spend a holiday with me in New Zealand at the end of my secondment. Day 66/74, Wednesday, and also my birthday. Smile Finally time for our holiday in the beautiful New Zealand, day 2/7! Smile Today was a long day. We drove from Auckland to Wellington, and experienced some awesome things between, such as Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland, Huka Falls, World's coolest McDonalds and the oldest cache of New Zealand. It was just one day on the North Island and a lot of kilometers, but at least we managed to see some lovely places. We were in Wellington at midnight. A great day!Wow, we just LOVED Huka Falls! A favorite point from me, absolutely. I also liked the tasks as they were not too difficult - well, not for me, anyway. Smile I mean, we strongly disagreed on the answer to question 3. Ruupertti tripled my estimation and felt that I totally underestimated the height. We decided to ask from a random person what his estimate was - and it was 0,5 meters from mine. So, we will stick to my estimate. Smile Thanks for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! SmileLogged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).

Alltid hyggelig med et nytt smilefjes p kartet.????Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, Norge????????????Me and MrVon sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.????We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.????Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway????????????

As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.

Along the way I searched and found the questions for this earth cache. The answers have now been sent.A favorite of our team and greetings from The Netherlands.#3.565 - funkymunkyzone TFTC!

Visiting from the UK, travelling from Auckland to Te Anau in the South Island - over a period of 4 weeks. Arrived around 10am - not too many people around and parked on the Loop Road and walked down. Like the cacher before we didn't find any information boards on either side of the bridge and viewing points. I hope the info I found is sufficient for the CO. Photos also sent. An amazing place. Thanks for setting.

The falls are such an amazing piece of nature. We searched the Lookout point, the bridge, both car parks and GZ but couldn't find an information board. Sadly we had to use the Internet. Answers sent to CO. FP given. TFTC

**Log about this cache:**Waterfalls with a lot of power, so nice.We allready had to see some nice things and some nice walks today but this was also very nice!**General log:**After years of planning and the canceling of trip due to the corona crisis, the time had finally come:****"more than 5 weeks in New Zealand".**And how beautiful it was!Visited both the north and south islands, many tourist attractions have a cache nearby so I could do some as well.Lots of virtuals and earth caches too and traditionals. But also done a few multi caches here and there also even a mystery and wherigo cache. The trip to New Zealand was great and we saw a lot of nice places. The country has so many different types of landscapes. And the nice thing was that it is winter in the Netherlands but summer in New Zealand SmileToo bad it takes so long to fly and that the flight is so expensive otherwise i can go here next year again. Now you can enjoy it, logging the caches is also part of it. I will try to email the answers for the earthcaches and virtual caches to the relevant co`s as soon as possible. But first log all caches and upload the photos .Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching
