Looked for ages, felt like it should have been right there, but couldn't find.
It was a beautiful sunny winters day in Hobart today. We set off on a walk around the dam today so enthusiastically we over shot this one by 100mtrs and had to back track lol!
A relatively quick find by my geoson, was hilarious watching him trying to look so very innocent whilst returning it and realising muggles were approaching !haha!

Once we realised we had overshot GZ we turned back and had a quick find. A great winters day to do a bit of geocaching. TFTC
A brisk stroll out and back to try to beat the rain.
Must come back to do the full circuit (again) and find the other caches here.
Thanks for the cache, whitewebbs !

Our first geo as a family and easily found, kids had a great time. Unfortunately no replacement item found but we left a surprise for the next hunters to find
Have to declare a DNF after a lengthy search of the area. Not going on to other caches in this park after viewing similar recent logs all round.
We decided to go for a walk around the lake to get the kids away from their electronic devices. I had DNFd the other 2 traditionals around the lake, so was very keen to find this cache, but despite pretty clear instructions and hint couldn't find any containers. Thanks anyway.
Cheeky! Needed to reread the description before I found the right spot. My gps was a bit off. C:
Revisited it with suzannebones who hadn't been there before. Logging trackable Not Ellie Travel Bug Dog Tag.
TFTC came out to do Parkrun , quite an undulating 5km course. Good to pick up at geocache after the run.
A nice quick find. After a DNF at Art Of Fencing and a long, long search at A Stream At Risdon this one was a wonderful change of pace!
Took magnet, left novelty eraser. TFTC.

Began the walk by obtaining information for a multi in the area. Once over near this cache, sat down because a group of high school students were close by. The teacher approached and indicated that they were orienteering in the area. As I orienteer we started a conversation and he asked if I was orienteering today. I replied that I was geocaching and it turned out that he had recently begun geocaching and had talked to the students about it. So I explained to them the basics of geocaching and then we began a team discovery. One of the girls quickly spotted the likely location and the cache was found to screams of delight. It also turned about to be the teacher's (Roy the Rooster) first cache so more celebrations. Good spot and great to help this group experience the thrill of geocaching as well as enjoying their orienteering.

It was yet another sunny winter day, so we set off around the dam. We were glad of the fairly straight forward find, as we believed that the next cache we had planned for the day was going to prove to be more problematic. TFTC TNLN
Thanks for this cache whitewebbs. It was absolutely beautiful at the dam today with plenty of sunlight and no wind and just the right walking distance for us. Good directions to the cache resulted in a quick find.
Walked and ran around the dam with a friend today. She was the one who found the cache took a few minutes to find. Thanks for the cache.
Didn't even know this dam was here, who'd of thought there'd be one at the top of a hill! A pleasant walk on a nice winter afternoon. Lots of people about but none where we needed to be. TFTC
Great little hideyhole. Took us a few minutes to find. Luckily not too many muggles around. One came by but I pretended to point out some animal track to the kids by way of distraction. I think she bought it!TFTC
Took a while to find the right area, but once we did it was an easy find. Took earrings and left suction cup seal. TFTC
Cache zombified. Quick find despite the school groups of little muggles running everywhere! Managed to find a break in traffic to retrieve cache, sign log and put back. Cache and contents in good order. Tftc.
Found quite easily on a lovely day for a walk. Not many muggles today. The travelbug listed in this cache wasn't there but we found another one there that was being shown as in Tasmaniosaurus (GCRHVF).
Took the travel bug Engl and Deifl Ducks (TB48B5Q) and left Wanderlust geocoin

This was my first ever geocache find... Woo Hoo thank you for hiding this little treasure.
It was blowing a gale when we arrived at this location and the walk across the dam top was a little challenging. However, once we got to the other side we were able to make a quick find. The cache and it's contents were in good condition. TFTC whitewebbs.

The Bear and WKC made the most of the start of school holidays by going for a ride around Risdon Brook Dam.
The hint made for a quick find however due to a number of muggles, replacement took much longer. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Found this one no problems. Took glass fish, left Christmas angel decoration. TFTC
This regular weekly walk was to find the so far undiscovered caches around Risdon Brook Reservoir. We set off in overcast conditions and soon encountered intermittent light rain but undeterred we pressed onwards. By the Brook was the last targeted. The cache was quickly found (no problem with muggles today!). TNLN. Thanks whitewebbs.
Enjoyed day today and little dull cloud, Enjoyed and wow view dam.. Hide well thanks Drop TB...
Yay! Took my muggle friend out to show her why she should be geocaching too! Great walk, beautiful weather. TFTC
Went too low but on second scan of the site a likely hide was noticed. However this seemed to be the signal for walking and jogging muggles to appear and it was some time before we could take a close look. TFTC whitewebbs
It was a nice day for a walk and the decision was Risdon Brook possibly including the multis there. A brisk wind kept us jolly cool until gaining shelter from the treed areas. After a circuit of the dam was completed, Sue discovered she did not have her sunglasses and remembered taking them off at the cache at the furthest end of the dam. A second circuit did have success in finding them.

Found on our caravanning and caching trip down south.
Today we targeted the caches around Risdon Brook Dam and this was one of them.
Lots of muggles walking, running and enjoying the Dam circuit today. Made a quick find TFTC

As I approached the GZ with the hint in mind I spied a few potential places. A quick look and the cache was located. Then suddenly muggles began appearing out of the woodwork from every direction. I had to wait to re-hide.
A lovely walk around the reserve. Lots of muggle walkers today even though it was damp and low clouds. tftc
Out for the day with the Clarence Joey Scouts Walk/Ride around the Dam. Gave them an introduction to Caching as we went. Funny sat almost ontop of this one months ago while orienteering. A lovely finish to the days activities. Thanks for the fun.
JABs.

We have been saving this one for when I had solved the puzzle cache in the area but not having solved it yet but needing some place to go after our plans changed due to track closures around the mountain.
So we called in today to walk round the dam and had a great time, the cache was a quick find after we waited for all the dam muggles to walk out of view.
Thanks for the cache

As we were approaching the end of our walk, we stopped to search for this cache. Found quickly, in between joggers, cyclists and walkers. TFTC!
A beautiful afternoon for our first visit to this area. Only had to dodge 1 jogger. TNLN TFTC
Found a few months ago but log didn't save for some reason... Was out for a stroll and though "this would be a great place for a cache" Looked them up and found I was practically standing on this one! TFTC
A not so quick find today with muggles approaching every minute or so, from one direction or the other. Finally got a lull in muggles approaching and nabbed the cache. A quick log & swap then had to wait another 5 minutes for the muggles to clear again. Took scout coin, left good luck cache token. TFTC
Gotta watch the muggles and be quick with this one, luckily the hide can be spotted from a distance iving you a chance to plan your attack.
Kids found this! Managed to miss the muggles somehow. Have unsuccessfully cached around here a few times so this lifted our spirits. TFTC!
Out first find of the walk. Cathy minded the pram and called out where muggles were coming from while I made the grab. (She also told me a tale of cycling carnage while steering my boy through a turn!) There was one jogger who must work at the Ministry of Silly Walks who kept coming and going and hovering!
Thank you for the hide!
Thank you for the hide!
I went over for a jog around the dam but with the early closing time there wasn't time for that. I got out the GPS but the batteries were flat and so were the six other rechargables I had in the car. With that working against me I grabbed the clue and walked to where I was confident the cache was hidden. I waited for a couple of walkers and joggers to cross the dam at the end of their exercise then grabbed the cache and signed the log. TFTC.
Out for another walk with Snuva and Eskil. Oh and of course we had to find a track with unfound caches. This one popped up on the radar last week and we were momentarily tempted to try for a FTF but the lure of the preplanned walk prevailed. As we walked toward GZ we both new where the hide would be - obvious to a cacher but nothing to a muggle. A weird walking/jogging style by a muggle had me playing lookout while Snuva retrieved TFTC Cheers Quilter
Hi whitewebbs
1st of April is Annie and my anniversary. This cache helped us celebrate the event. HAPPY APRIL FOOLS DAY! (What does that say or tell you?)
This was an a quick and easy find, the log being signed at 1021hrs.
Muggles passed by just before extraction and just after replacement.
Congratulations to Budgietas on his first FTF in twelve months. Bet it felt good; eh Budge.
TFTC and cheers;
OldSaint.
