After a good trot, the time has come to say goodnight. A crucial part of the design has seen the end of its days. You'll have to find something else to do in Rockhampton at night time. Good luck.
After help from the CO we eventually found the cache and we're able to describe it to him. However, the required extraction method is broken, so we were unable to sign the log. With the CO's permission we are able to claim this as a find. It took us almost 90 minutes to complete Overall a well-designed effort, Mr CO! Found at 7.20 pm on 1st June 2015. TFTC.
Abandoned this one after the fourth single reflector. As this park is very open and surrounded by houses I felt very 'visible'. I also felt as if my strong torch is shining into those houses' windows - not good
Day 9 of our mad trip to dig up dinosaurs, sapphires, thunder eggs and more.
On the homeward stretch now after doing the dinosaur trail, gemfields and thundereggs.
This was certainly an adventure. Many thanks to CO for being by the phone and pointing us in the right direction when one of the markers was missing. A very inventive cache. At times the kids were skipping and running ahead to see if they could find the next marker.
At GZ, we looked and looked. Number-one-son finally spotted the beast and used his 6 foot tall gymnastic skills to retrieve. Another option might have been to fire Number-two-son out of a cannon but we left it in the other car...
Thanks to The Talent for all of your assistance. We hope your leg heals well and you're able to replace those markers soon.
A fave point from us

Found it but not logging just yet. Just a quick note to thank CO for being by the phone (broken leg and all) to help us on the way. One marker is definitely missing along the way but CO pointed us in the right direction.
Will update with a found log in a couple of days - still journeying.

Didn't find it on this go, found some two reflectors but could not find or make sense of any clue. Scoured the entire park looking for other reflectors. Could somebody let us know if we are on right track?
Sadly missed out on this one, got to the fourth reflector and bummed hard after that may have to come back one day to finish this one off! Very clever though
Couldn't find it after two attempts. Got most of the way but was stuck at a tree near the water. Will try every time we go out until we succeed!
OKOK - haven't had this much fun in years with @Where'sWallie and friends GC at night. What a treat. This eventually turned out much more difficult than anticipated assignment but we persevered. Very proud with our find, like winning an Olympic Marathon.
Take a GOOD flashlight and xtra batteries - will make the task simpler. Hunting this GC in a team also leads to more fun.
Owls, Frogs and massive fruit bats spiced up the night life. Bite your lips before screaming.
A surprise final hiding-place rounded of an evening well spent.
We'll done by The Talent in setting up this GC. Highly recommended if you pass thru Rockhampton.

Loved the trek through the night to find this cache. We saw a number of Frogmouths and disturbed some flying foxes having their nightly meal.
We struggled to find the last marker before the first clue but scratching around we managed to find it.
Found it with Stoffel, Coco and Sushi as well as friend RoccoDeWetGrensvegter
TFTC - a favourite. TNLNSL

Can someone confirm if this cache is still there, few tree branches down at location, might be gone.
Not found... Can someone go see if still there, was a few branches down, maybe has been taken..
Well how much fun was that, we were all over the place typed in the wrong coordinates and ended up at the wrong park for 30 minutes. then we backtrack to the correct park. very tricky very enjoyable. wobbly 45 and kids
A promisingly delicious outing I thought... Started off okay, couldn't see one for the life of us for AGES, then back to the car to get new batteries for the brighter head torch. Back, and took more time, but still didn't see enough to walk on further. Then, we followed a thought, and found the elusive reflector. It turned out, we hadn't looked from the proper vantage point. So, yay, we were on the right track again! Cane toads and green frogs were out by the time we made our way back, but my compliments to you The Talent, we had a great time, and the night definitely is for hunting. This one is an inspiration to us fairly newbies, and hopefully we can use our imagination and knowledge to create some more geocaches in the future. Thanks for the experience, Rockhampton has turned out to be a fun place to geocache.
A long search, but finally good things to those who are patient. A devious hiding place but an easy reach for those over 6'
So the CO says, "wanna going do the night cache with me?" I'm like... uh, yeah!! It must've been frustrating for him as I stumbled around in the dark taking forever to acquire the magic little glowing dots of happiness. He kept a tight lip though and took maintenance notes along the way. I was highly impressed with this cache every step of the way... especially the end!!! You sir have earned another FavPt for this one!! Job very well done from start to unique finish. TFTMC!!
Our 2nd night cache, and this one was a lot of fun.
Turned up just on dark, and waited around for a while due to muggles.
When all was clear, on with the torches, and 40 minutes later, we had the cache in hand.
This was well thought out and well placed. A great hide.
This gets a favorite point from us.
Thanks for the cache, The Talent.

Holey wow that was a mammoth effort!!! Brighter touches would have helped but we got there in the end. Lots of patience was needed but it was so worth it. We left a pathtag and awarded a favourite. Thanks for a fantastic cache.
This is a pretty good cache. We found it a few days ago but have been so busy I haven't had a chance to get online to log it. We took 4 torches (flashlights for Americans) and none of them worked well enough to find the reflectors, we even had a really big torch and it just didn't even work when we arrived even though a new battery was in it. Eventually I found clues by just running around all over the place until I got close enough to the right places to see the reflectors which were quite dim for us. Eventually we found our way to the end - took 2 hours. The coolest thing about this cache is the cache itself - and strangely enough, I had the exact same idea for a cache and had never gotten around to hiding it. And funny enough, I was going to hide mine in the exact same place. Looks like the Talent beat me to it. Fortunately my son was with me to help me extract the cache. Well done The Talent and thanks for another great cache. Good to have so many quality caches in our area.
Found it over the course of three nights, they didn't lie when they were talking about short people having trouble -.-
Well put together, would love another night time only one

Grabbed this cache on the way home for the Christmas break. Good fun cache. Found with Temingi. Thanks.
Gotcha !!! Late night plane to be met bringing geodaughter Qldwarrior home for Xmas meant 2 of us to search this one out on our way home to Yeppoon. Enjoyed the walk in the cool evening air. There are more BRIGHT SPARKS in Rockhampton that I thought. TFTC
Found as part of the group that where hunting a few caches while in town for the events this weekend.
It was a pretty cool adventure following the clues around the area at night.
This one’s a favourite for me.

Cache Raid to Rockhampton with Gunnie69..
Numbers are the name of the game & so we came to partake of the caches in the area
Plans laid at today's event we began to assemble at the jump off point as darkness fell
A bevy of cachers all armed with torches dull & bright
we soon headed out along the trail (what trail) Hmmmm where are the shineys - Oh there's one
And now another & so it went..
Approaching the final waypoint we spotted a parliament of Tawny Frogmouths also out hunting in the dark (in their case dinner not some hidden container)
As Gunnie mentioned not often seen (& rarely 3 at a time)
Tassiegirl & la Kedi finally spotted cache after a bit if a search & bedmaker made the extraction
Log was soon signed and the return trek began...
Great cache great people - what more could you want
& So ended Day 1 in Rockhampton
TNLNSL
Thanks The Talent

was very enjoyable, with a large group such as this made it more of an experience. group hunting is good.
With a "plan" conceived at the event earlier today, a group of us met at GZ for a bit of night time fun... All very punctual, we took to the trail a fraction after 7pm. Torches of varying lux production were unveiled and cranked up. With that, the first "there it is" was called and like the barriers opening on the Melbourne Cup, - We Were Off...
We set a cracking pace and found ourselves making a creek crossing before long... On the other side, two girls approached from the left and must have wondered what was going on... Strange people, in the bush with torches... Hmm... I guess they took comfort in the fact we were in a pack and had almost a 50% female contingent... [^]
So, powering on, we secured the coords to the next phase and some questions at that point on the practicality of back tracking for some motorised transport... We decided against it and powered on along the path. Plenty of chatter and banter made the transit nice and short and on zeroing in on the new location, we spotted what we were after... We were not sure at this point whether the newly imparted information was for another waypoint, or for the final location and we arrived in location with torches still blazing and searching for the next clue... What we found were three Tawny Frogmouth owls in the closest tree, probably a little annoyed at the constant barrage of bright light to their sensitive eyes... Oops... Probably something that could be listed on the cache page to protect them in future hunts. Amazing birds and so rare to see three together... We wouldn't want to spoil that would we... [^]
So, with the realisation we had reached the final, the hunt was on and there were two very different approaches. Even though the GPS said "there", it was only fair that we checked everywhere surrounding GZ, before we relented and moved in for extraction of the container... Or, should I say, we didn't believe the girls and figured the cache had to be "in here'...
With some persistence, the very neatly placed cache was spotted by La Kedi and TassieGirl13 and some assistance was requested from Bedmaker for extraction. When word got out it had been located, we swarmed like bees to honey and much Oohing and aahing ensued... That is an awesome hide and well crafted...
Names in the log, there were a couple of attempts to replace it as found but persistence paid off. With that, we set off back down the path to the starting point. About an hour round trip and we were done. Well worth it and even better with a good group of people... [^]
Thanks to The Talent for an excellent cache. I'll add one of those favourite thingies to the tally for you...

A plan was hatched at the event this afternoon to do a group assault on this one tonight.
We meet at our rendezvous point and with torches a blazing set about searching for the first piece in this multi.
“There it is” someone yelled and from there we were off. The odd ones with a set of co-ords were a little different and kept us guessing as to what we might find next.
Finally we arrived at the end and set about looking for the elusive little bugger.
The men went off in one direction but the women folk had their own ideas. With the men not having any luck in the places they were searching focus turned to what the women had found and what do you know?, it was the cache.
A really enjoyable night multi with a great hide at the end, it gets a favourite from me.

What a fun night out. Gz had some of us guessing there for a bit but a couple others persevered with something they found not quite right and they came up trumps. Great hide.
As per a plan concocted earlier today at the event, eight intrepid geocachers rolled up to GZ at 7pm to make an assault on this night cache. Torches flashing, we set off across the parklands, chit chattering and accompanied by cries of, "There's the next one! Where? Oh, there it is!". An oncoming pair looked a little apprehensive at our peculiar behaviour but on the whole we were undisturbed in our pursuit. A moment of hesitation at one point had us feeling unsure, but we boldly headed off in what we hoped was a logical direction and sure enough, another point revealed itself. Coordinates were found and we all trooped off, eager to recommence the hunt. We noticed the police were out along a different road, hopefully apprehending people who might otherwise have bothered us . Another set of coords obtained, and off we headed again, thankful for local knowledge which made the approach easier. Hrm, now some confusion. I think it's here, someone thinks it's over there, someone else has another idea... We spot something that appeals to our caching senses, but have no luck with it and the search turns elsewhere. But Tassiegirl and I persist - we're sure it's here. Commandeering Bedmaker, Tassiegirl tries a different approach, and... SUCCESS! An extremely clever cache hide, and the perfect end to an enjoyable and well set up hunt. Definitely a favourite from me. TFTC, The Talent! =^.^=
I was part of the group of 8 that La Kedi mentioned below. I heartily endorse what she said so eloquently, and a favourite from me too TFTC The Talent
I figured that I should log this one at last.
Helped TheTalent by doing a test run of it before the cache was published... but it counts. It counts!

At last we were able to coordinate getting out to do this night cache with RVgeos. After a feed of pizza we were fuelled up to start our adventure. We followed the instructions easily enough - and were a bit puzzled about the bit in the cache notes that said not having to cross over any main roads and then the penny dropped. Then it wasn't long before we found the cache and marvelled at the hide. A well deserved favourite point for this one.
Thanks to The Talent.

My son and I had fun doing this cache. My son found most of the points before I did and the cache. Hehehe........He just couldn't get to the cache. I didn't think I would have got the *FTF* so that was a surprise. TNLNSL
