With the road widening happening here I've decided to uplift this cache so I can release it elsewhere, so it was here today, but if you drop by tomorrow it will definitely be gone!
Loved the tin inside the cache. Unfortunately not money/data left on my phone so I couldn't capture the Munzee. Will have to come back and do that another day. Not sure I will show it to the boys (I'm sure they would love it) as there wasn't as much space as I had hoped along side the road as the grass is very long at the moment.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Nicely hidden, secluded hedges to log. No trackables to rescue

Did you see the new fence 20-30m into the paddock? I'm actually surprised you didn't remove the cache and either archive or disable it. Given the road widening work that is occuring further north along Johns Road, which is getting closer to this cache every week, and the new fence, this spot is imminently about to see its demise (sad to say). I recommend rescuing the cache or at least the TB placed there recentlly, assuming it is still there.
I stopped by here and checked the cache today. Everything is nice and dry and in place. Happy caching.
Finally managed to stop by here, at a very quiet 6:25am and pick up the cache. Cheers
#1456 @1555 hours, clear and a great sunny winter's day; lovely for doing what we do . Thanks for having another so close to the previous on our way into our daughter's place.
My first cache in New Zealand! Today we arrived to Christchurch and the weather was beautiful!

Many thanks - liked the joke

Last cache for the year, fortunately successful, after 2 DNFs to start with this afternoon and 6 subsequent finds.
At long last we're seeing the sun, having suffered from more than our fair share of rain in the past 5 days!
A quick find. #380 to round off 2013. Happy New Year everyone! TFTC justmeg.

Waiting for a plane to land so we could pick up a friend's new puppy I decided I had time for a quick one. Cache, that is. This was certainly quick, not many places it could be here. TFTC
I came into town tonight for a monthly BSA owners club Canterbury meeting at the papanui club. I've only made a couple of the meetings because my motorcycle has been off the road. Tonight I was surprised to walk through the doors and to be the only 'bikie' in the place......... That was because we always meet on a Monday night and today was Tuesday! Before the thirty minute drive home I thought I'd better find at least one nearby cache so it wasn't a wasted trip!
Once at GZ the cache was in hand very quickly. Signed the log with little fuss and popped naughty apter back into his hiding spot. Has he found his bright brass buttons?

First find for the day. Nice easy one to start, on a mission to reach 500. TFTC.
Grabbing a few cache after the event on my trip back to Nelson love the container
A nice grab and great tin. was a bit exposed so popped some twigs an stuff around it. The road works are getting closer....
Quick find once I managed a stop on a very busy road. Was looking to place a tb from Washington but it was as big as the bunny tin so will keep looking. TFTH.
Busy road today and I overshot the place by half a kilometer. Decided it was easier and safer to walk back. So much traffic this morning. Tftc. Only 6 more days til my streak hits 100 days and I can end this malarkey
Nice quick find today. Took trackable

This is back for a short visit until the workmen get here. Now waist height. Please cover well
I'm first to sign in the replacement log book, does that count as a first to find? Easily spotted but such a busy road! I wonder how long it will be before the roadworks arrive here. Dropped off travel bug.
I drove past here on Sunday and discussed this cache with the person in the car. As they extend the highway we're not sure if the tree is staying. The highway is still being built and we're hoping to be able to get this back out. I can put it back out temporary until the heavy ground work equipment moves in but then it will probably be another longer stretch while they dig up the road. I am certainly keeping an eye on it as I want it back out asap.
A four-lane highway is being put through this area and as I'm not sure if GZ will still exist afterwards, I have uplifted the cache for safekeeping. I will put this out again after the roadworks has finished.
I had a DNF here way back in the early days of this cache. Since then I must have driven past this cache a few hundred more times. Today I thought I would stop and have another attempt. Quick find this time as it was only partially concealed. Glad to be able to remove the cache from my unfound list at last. Thanks for the cache.
A super easy find as we were leaving chch and heading home to Nelson after a great weekend of perfect weather, delicious food and an awesome Nitro Circus show! Dropped off TB. Thanks!!

I was in the area ticking off some solved mystery caches but couldn't drive by without logging this. Found exactly where the GPS pointed me.

Very quick one. Be careful of the road and pull well off to the side! With Skunkgal.
No hare today. Went over the field after a rain so my trousers were completely wet.

Remember laughing at the joke when published. Finally found the time to park n grab. Liked the babushka doll cache (container in a container). This one you just have to make the most of it. Parked and waited for a lull in traffic, yeah right. Just look 'normal' ducking into a bush and popping out again. Thanks for placing this cache.

Easy found it during my day off before next trip around south Island with my clients . T4TC and greatings from Czech republic
Well our very last few hours now of our NZ holiday. Officially I think it is Day 22 of our NZ visit for the MEGA.
Well today the weather was almost like when we arrived, freezing cold (by Perth standards anyway) and wet, raining.
Time to find some park n grabs, due to Mr Felix having the flu and not being up to much more before we headed to the Airport.
For once we actually read the cache page in full to make sure it was indeed a park n grab. Well we laughed and laughed.
Was great fun [:X]. Loved the cache too so left a pathtag here.

Don't know if we were almost cached out for the day but we had a bit of trouble locating this one. Just couldn't nab it as easily as we thought we would. But it was found with Coruze and Bushbaby321.

Crack the Ton! Found with troobloo and Bushbaby321 on our NZ MEGA trip. The views all along our drive have been amazing. The well maintained parks and streets. This one had us a little stumped. The drain filled with water, parking and long grass. Glad we are not in OZ no snakes. SL TN Left some PT's along the way. T4TC
On our way home - traffic very light so thought it would be the ideal time to stop for this cache. Easy find. TN:LN:SL. TFTC. #157 for us.
Mum and I are usually terrible night cachers but heading back to our accomodation on our previous night cache buzz we dared to try our luck again on another cache. Luck was still on our side cos the cache was soon in our hands. Thanks for the fun story and cache
Thought yesterday might have been the end of the streak (and so close to Mega and a Guaranteed 7 days caching) as we'd had a full day. Back to work after school holidays, couldn't get out at lunch as had a WoF-less car ready to be traded in, trading in for a new car (one failed WoF and one written off in the hail -> consolidate vehicles), testing the towing capacity (and the ramifications of travel to Mega).
Then the cache close-ish to home was full of muggles (again!) but muggly hubby said "where's another one". I knew where to lay my hands on one in Brighton, then remembered this one. Hopefully not too much traffic at 10pm, and with the new car being a "blend in" silver rather than a "look at me" fireman red stopping on the side of the road was possibly not going to be as conspicuous. Traffic was fairly light, I overshot so didn't have my lights spotlighting me (or giving me light). It took a few minutes, but I was mostly tucked away from traffic.
Thanks for the story and the themed container.

I happened to be driving from a dental appointment and turned on GPS. Tada! Only a few hundred metres away. But it was about 5.00PM... A gap in the traffic, found the cache, went back to car to complete formalities and walked back to replace it. Did you ever see so many people staring at someone on the side of the road as gridlock developed then stopped. I bummed about for 15 minutes then decided if I blocked the cache from view with body no-one will be any the wiser. Re-hid it and walked back to car. People still staring blankly...
